Good call Shin. It is going to be hectic on that first lap, especially with the damage set to heavy, so some conservative driving will be required. We will need to get some laps with
@dranddad before the event, so we can practice this. I will be online again from Wednesday, so if anyone is available for some parade lap practice, please come and help out. We will also require the parade lap car for all 3 races.
OK, last nights practice was awesome. It was an open lobby, and we had some extra racers, which gave us 9 on the grid for some of the short races we ran. Hopefully 1 of them will join us for this event, to keep Warren company at the front of the field.
So, after a weekend of practice at Daytona, in this crazy F1 car, there are some super times being set. I logged onto the PS tonight, and there are over 18 races to go through, to get times from. So ive decided, not to publish the times up in here for the time being. Everyone knows their own pace, and come race day, some surprises may be thrown up due to pushing too hard to get that faster lap, especially with heavy damage.
The one thing I have learned over the weekend is that this car is an awesome piece of machinery to drive. The trick is to find the grip on the track, not the grip in the tyres.
Friday will see the first practice laps at Indy road course. Saturday is GC Garys Type R sprint event, so Indy practice will resume on Sunday.
Race date news. It would seem that Sunday 21st is the more popular date for this. Please can everyone confirm attendance for this date, and I will make it the official date for the event.
