Hi mate, I may be able to fit you in for the Sunday cup series. I have 3 registered drivers who didnt make the first race, or last weeks practice. I have messaged them to see if they are still interested. If they are not I can offer you a place. I will let you know ASAP. The series is limited to 12 drivers to minimise online issues, and as it going well I want to stick to 12.
In the meantime let me know car/wheel colours, racing number and country.
Cheers
Ade

Will let you know on colours etc tomorrow if thats ok.

I take it from 1st post you can't customize the LSD?

No custom LSD, Only High RPM turbo to be installed, and BHP 167 using the power limiter.

The 34.9 is a lap I cannot reproduce in clean air, only managed to break the 35's because of Jamesy's slipstream that time. So, I'm already looking forward to the race and it's only halfway through the week! :ouch:

Me to, and I also think that the racing will be even closer than Spa with 2 stretches for getting some good slipstreams. Just hoping I dont repeat my first lap error this week. The car seems to love this track, but as practice proved, it can still catch you out:mischievous:

The 3 drivers have now got back to me and said they will be racing on Sunday. As I am fairly certain that everyone who raced the first week will also be racing this Sunday, I can only offer you a reserve position at the moment.

Ok Put me down as a reserve.then please!

You are added to the OP as reserve driver 👍

Its looking like we may have a full grid come Sunday, which will make the racing a bit lively :nervous: I may have a small practice session on Saturday evening if any one is interested. It would be good if the drivers who missed the first race take part, so they can get a feel for the track in a racing environment. Same as before with several short races with reverse grid on.

Rhinoafrica will not be joining us this week due to connection issues, so his place will be filled by TROTTERLOVER79. I will be holding another short race practice session tonight at 8.30pm if anyone wants to join.

Just busy watching the Lotus documentary.

It's class to see what goes on behind the doors. Pleased to hear that the new 'chiefs' from abroad understand that Lotus is what it is, the history and where it came from, so much so they sound like they want to take the brand into the future while retaining what Lotus is 👍

Suprised to see only 5 Evora's built each day, I bet you all can nail it without any panic, although I don't know how I'd feel knowing a clock was ticking!

One thing about the Evora, I guess it won't rust! AND it's glued together!!!

So ade I bet you were having a laugh seeing work mates on the telly! Just upto the 'vehicle attributes' bit with Matty ;) I bet you can hear them testing all day?

Yeah, we spend our tea breaks in the summer watching the cars going round the track, and when they test the GT4's and other race cars you can hear them in the factory.

Looking forward to the new cars, especially the Esprit making a return, but what was that 'supermini' I saw!!! And is that Lotus moving into the exec field with the Eterne???

Good program, you don't need any Q.C.s do you :sly:

Yes, in vehicle assembly. I dont know any of the kart teams, but I do work with GTP_hyperdan/KOR_hellrazor.
Its the new megafactories series on National Geographic uk, Its on again today at midday, and 9.00pm and also tomorrow at 8.00pm. If you have sky, its channel 526.

The supermini that you saw is the Lotus city car, and its a similar idea to what Aston Martin have done with the Cygnet. It helps to bring down the companys CO2 range across all models. The Eterne is a large 4 door exec car, which will be powered by the same Lotus v8 engine that will be in the Esprit, and the Elite.

I was going to ask, where does the Elite fit? I get the Evora and the Esprit, but the Elite????

The Elite fits between the Esprit and the Eterne, almost a 2 door front engined GT version of it with a glass sliding roof.

Good, me to. When I open the room it will set to a different track. I will then change it to GP/D before we start qualifying. This is to try and stop the qualifying glitch that puts the room host in pole position.

Nice one, if it works, I'll have to do that for mine too! 👍

I can't believe that glitch is still there! I think I'll tweet Kaz...
