Bought the Greddy Fugu Z and it has no front downforce…

The only way to assess what a combination of upgrades will do to a car's PP, is to buy them all and try them out, hoping it will achieve a desired result.

Which makes as much sense as finding out whether a load of fuel is enough to take a Boeing 747 to a destination by taking off and hoping it's enough to get there.

The things that bother me is that PD doesn't add the main and most famous original circuits of the franchise. Sony-PD doesn't need to lose revenue on licensing, it doesn't need to waste time on "in loco" scanning, anyway, it just needs to do the circuit directly from its chair and office. Honestly, from a practical point of view, I can't find an explanation for the absence of Grand Valley, El Capitan, Midfield, Apricot, Red Rock Valley, Autumn Ring, Stage Route and other original circuits, especially those in cities, the great highlight of the franchise's personality.

I find the Whole HUMAN COMEDY RACES are WAYYYYYYY to hard.
From the 8 Races i couldn't win anyone...Yet !!!
I would enjoy the challenge if a 2nd try didn't come with the risk of winning absolutely nothing, wasting an entire hour. Making them missions was a mistake.

If you don't get a higher tier trophy on a second attempt, you get nothing. There is no need for this in a race.

Missions are fine as an idea. But they should not be so long. A drift challenge, a drafting challenge, knocking over cones, sure. A 1 hour race, no.

Finally getting an engine reward, Hellcat engine at that, and only being able to put it in 1 car. What is the point of dropping a hellcat in a 70 Challenger? I completely understand not being able to put it in a shifter kart, but I am completely peeved that I can't make a Hellcat Fugu Z. Had more fun doing my own engine/ chassis swaps on GT5 with BruteForce than looking at this worthless digital paperweight. Why add a feature that we've been begging for ages to get and do a quarter ass job. I've played ever day since release trying to get an engine. Now that I got one I am soo disappointed that I'm going back to playing Ark.

Engine parts and engine swaps being locked behind the "roulette".

PD state that GT is about car culture, embracing it and sharing it, but the choice to lock certain upgrades and engine swaps behind "roulette" wins stands in stark contradiction to that statement.

It's pretty fair to say that GT7 is going to follow GT Sport in that now that PD have enforced BoP across all Sport races, that's how it will be from now on. With that in mind, any vehicle that has one of these special parts or engine swap wouldn't qualify to be used in an online race, as they'd exceed BoP, the same way the Mitsubishi GTO did when you wide-body'd it.

This leaves the special parts and engine swaps to be offline or player lobby only, where the wins don't count for anything and the prizes are insignificant. The only real reason to keep special parts and engine swaps as rewards is to keep them rare, but if I can't use them to actually compete, what is the point in keeping them rare?

It just means that only a handful of players will actually get to experience driving an engine swapped Sambabus, or slap a carbon drive-shaft on their car. And to that... The parts fit a randomly selected car only, making the majority of them useless!

I thought of another.

The interior view is terrible. The sliders that 'change' driver position move it about 1cm rendering it useless. Some cars feel like you are 4 feet tall and cant see over the steering wheel.
Plus it doesn't save for each car individually... IIRC this was different for GT Sport.

Also the camera limitations. Say if i want to see the badge on the steering wheel, it's not possible. He'll just look behind. I have another button assigned for this... but you just can't change it. Right stick down is always look behind. And why the hell can't we rotate the camera in 3rd person? Worked just fine in GT Sport Beta...

Probably a small thing, but I left the game on while did some housework and when I came back there was a movie of a muscle car race. Why aren't there any in the game? Probably quite a few cars that don't have any races. Would be nice if there were. I don't consider custom races to be a reasonable replacement.

Honestly, a collection of tracks that celebrates the 25 years of the franchise seems so obvious. Like you mentioned, no need for additional licensing fees and in some cases they were really well designed layouts that would be fun as heck with cars now in the game.

Not to mention how out of touch they are with the car culture today. No mention of Japanese powerhouse companies like Liberty Walk, Rocket Bunny, and RWB plus no stand out cars from recent Tokyo Auto Salons and SEMA.

But if I am honest, much of the content is dated, especially the cars in the game. There are very few cars new cars that are a year or two old. I understand the game took a number of years to develop it (Even though it seems like a port of Sport - I digress) so I would not expect anything from this year say, but many new cars from 2018 to 2021 should be in the game, IMO this is not an unrealistic expectation.

Hang on, so are you telling me that kids and teens getting into cars might not be interested in some virtual coffee with some greying middle aged man?

I would like more tracks. I don’t care what they are. they can butcher the track all they want, the more tracks available the better. If it’s different, just find a new line.
More tracks yes, but there are enough things in this game that are the same but worse, and I'd rather they not add to that list.

Yes, we need more original circuits from previous games. Trial Mountain and Deep Forest have hardly been butchered mate.
I dont like how either of them have been re-made and frankly if it takes them five years to stick the Dragon Trail Gardens hairpin onto the back straight of Deep Forest and reprofile some other corners then I'd rather they start with a blank canvas.

Anyway, either way they need more tracks, how they actually made this game with so little new tracks is astonishing.

Does anyone really want PD to add more original tracks from previous games considering how they butchered Trial Mountain and Deep Forest?
Yes PD should have add a lot more original tracks from previous games at the start, and the same goes with cars to buy like the Legendary car section should not be a few to buy at a time. The Legendary car section should be all cars available.
They did butchered Trial Mountain and Deep Forest and PD should have had the original circuits, really PD are clowns to change a circuit layouts. This is another thing why GT7 is a absolutely messed up game, this GT7 is not fit to be a numbered game from the series, more like a GT Sport 2 with things missing.

None of the cars that I bought online in GT Sport are available in next-gen GT7.
The cars that I acquire in GT7, for eye-watering prices, will probably remain trapped in GT7.
Because of this I don't feel ANY pressure to get it all. Just the things I REALLY want.

Other point.

I love Group C cars. If my voice had any credit, I would add ten more cars from the 80's and early 90's, different models and makes, to close the grid with fourteen cars. Although from different years, the BOP service applied to them would be tolerable. But I really get uncomfortable when I come across Group C cars racing competitively against the super modern LMP1s.

Group C cars should only race each other in championship terms. Unless everyone raced together, as long as the race was multiclass, with points only valid for each category.

I think the ideal would be to have subcategories within each category, divided by periods of each modality. The Era of Group C; The Era of LMP1; The Classical Era, something along those lines. I don't know.

The understeer since 1.13 is insane. I'd rather the oversteer than understeer. Their fix for "too much oversteer" was make it too much understeer. Lazy lazy lazy. Eff that noise.

MR cars are worthless.

Payouts for Daily races is insulting.

TC - 1 feels like TC - 100

Still waiting for some updated race cars (Gr cars), not recycled ones from 10 years ago. This will never happen, though.

Having to constantly scroll over to set the fuel map in the seconds before the race starts, would prefer that the fuel map would also be added to the car setting screen.
I usually save car settings for certain events, the fuel map could be added to those events.
