This tells me its not a nativ ps5 code othervise 4k/60 wasnt a problem.The decision to ge full native 4k/60fps was a huge mistake IMO, the graphics engine appears to be at its very limit as is.
Which is also why I don't expect any city circuits to be added to the game, those would look downright ugly and the detail/shadow popping would be even more obvious.
Just compare the graphics of e.g. Horizon Forbidden West or the Spiderman games to GT7, it's hard to believe they're on the same console.
Adding a performance/fidelity option for the graphics like almost every other PS5 game has would go a long way, but I don't think it's even possible without a complete overhaul of the game engine.

It lags on so many things. Less details on track like on Kyoto Driving park compare to Gts, only 30fps reflection in cockpitview. Raindrops glued to the car. Software based raytray layer in 30fps only for replay and photomode.
We can only hope we will get a 2.0 patch that lift gt7 to nativ ps5 code and we get split from the ps4 for better open lobby expiriance.
