Entering a Gr.4 race and finding you're the only person who turned up in a McLaren and the entire field is Mazdas. Then the excellent BoP meaning they can breeze past you without breaking a sweat.
Same for Meeting Places. Mileage is mileage; even if they're not going to give you any cash, surely all distance driven should count.

I would like to know every single stat they could tell me about my time playing the game, perhaps in a private section of profile

It seems in cockpit view you can’t look around the car as much as in GTS without the camera changing to rear view. In GTS you had a good range of motion to look around the cabin before the camera switched but now the switch is almost instant (especially when trying to look down).

AI drivers always braking hard right on the apex. The cynic in me thinks it's deliberate to remove the 50% win bonus.

Annoys me having to come out of race screens to buy tyres or any parts after seeing limits, cars etc needed for that event. Be much better if yiu could access gt auto via a button after selecting car. Those few seconds delays navigating back and forth is getting tiresome already, but not end of world.

-having to search and acquire a livery in one place (Discover) and go to another place to use it (GT Auto)
-having to save and name a livery just to paint a car
-there is no way to back out of one section of GT Auto and go to another one without quitting it entirely
-your car literally disappears when you enter the pits and appears right before the stall after a simulated duration of the full pit lane
-the AI on dirt tracks drives as if its on tarmac and will consistently bump you from the side while you're flicking through hairpins

This! Not only some details appear when really close - some really important ones as well, like logos, etc but there is a distance threshold where the reflection resolution also changes and the popping is awful.
Also there are some particularly ugly content pop-ins that are very distracting, I wonder why they didn’t fine tune them, eg sone bushes on dragon trail, a whole building exactly in front of you in Tokyo expressway, arrow signs at the end of the long straight in Catalunya, etc
It was mentioned before but your ghost blocking your way when really close is really annoying - made me miss a couple of turns in Nurburgring and was really pissed.
Go to the cafe thing - just allow us to click on the notification to get there - I finished all cafe events so now it is not a problem to me
Not being able to be transferred to the upgrade store to buy upgrades or allowed to buy new cars when you are not eligible for a race from that exact race menu.

Using the ghost offset in the assist settings is useful - if you put it an extra half a second ahead, you can still see what it's doing and whether you're gaining on it, but there's enough space to judge your braking/turning points.
Are you playing on PS4 to be seeing those dodgy pop-ins?

The way "My Libary" handles the "Collection" & "Favourites" for decals. User decals can be easily added to your collection from Showcase. But they cannot be added to a Favourites folder from the Showcase. The Collection just lists all decals and can become irritating to navigate as you add more decals to it.
However, decals cannot be added to your Favourites folders from the Collection. I cannot comprehend why this is the case. I like to organise the decals I use into various Favourites folders for ease of use. However, with this system, if I see a decal I like in the Showcase, if I want it in a Favourites folder I have to go to GT Auto's livery editor and search for it again to add it to a folder.
Like everything else in this game, it's one step forward & about 10 backwards.

I had no idea there was such a thing as a ghost offset, but still offsetting would not resolve the problem if you were half a second faster! I would prefer something like the car model being more transparent or seeing parts of its outline.
No I am on a PS5. I am thinking I should create a video but there just isn’t enough time.

You should check the options. You can use the demo ghost in licenses/missions rather than your own fastest, and you can make it reset the offset at checkpoints in case you're gaining or dropping back. Agree it's a little too opaque for normal use, but I found the offset demo ghost really helpful going licence tests to see where I was losing time.

i really hate that only certain music plays in certain locations. Only a few songs can be heard while you're in GT Auto, which gets very annoying when you're in the livery creator. I'd rather listen to all the music that plays at the map screen, but I have no reason to stay on that screen so I rarely hear it.

that reminds, was almost shaking my head browsing through cars and spotting them the other day. I guess yiu can just ignore them, but have zero interest in ever driving one of those. Could be amusing in a trolling kind of way online, putting some weird paint job/livery on it, but another odd inclusion in the game imo. Fair enough if others have a burning desire to race using a safety car though, but not for me lol.

Read a lot of my pet peeves already, but i'm still dissapointed that the game won't save your best laps on tracks with the world circuits and championships you do.. Especially with the grind races, having that competitive 'edge' could at least make it more amusing.
