Isn't royal blue like, next to navy blue in darkness, though? Cause I'm pretty sure it is... Then again, this could easily turn into another purple/dark blue situation, so have some zebras instead.

Royal Blue as a web color is, for whatever reason, Azure with a bit of red splashed in. Royal Blue as a pigment was always basically Navy with a bit less black. I've never understood why they did it that way, but alas.





Similarly, Azure as a web color is even lighter than Cyan is.

Automakers are even worse. I spent nearly an hour scrolling through a list of paints trying to find one to use for the Great and POWERFUL GT-R, and I still screwed it up the first three times. You can only see so many paints labeled as "azure" when they are basically more green than blue before you want to start throwing controllers.

As far as TBoTS, I've had a very busy couple of weeks, which is why the chapter is so late. I've had almost no time whatsoever to myself, if I'm not at work, I'm at a friends, or alternatively have some friends over in my house... That Miss Spelling drawing I finished it late last night after a gaming session with a whole bunch of friends (and earlier TF2ing with CoffeeGrunt!)

I thought today I would have all day, but my dad called me up to work with him, so yeah... Anyways, tl;dr, it's on the way, gonna get some writing done now that I'm free to discuss colouors with you guys

I actually tried LagunaSeca Blue, but it just didn't look quite right.

I tried using that colour as well, but it looks too dark to be considered as "Trixie Azure". I still think Grabber Blue on the Mustang Mach 1 is the closest though, but that paint chip is unattainable.

Pheonix Blue from the 2001 NSX is quite close to the Grabber Blue, but its a Standard. I ultimately went with the Sky Blue Metallic from the Challenger R/T, which is a touch lighter but not by much.

KRACK! The forepony closed his eyes for the final blow, but no pain accompanied the sound this time. Opening his eyes after a moment, he saw Big Mac lowering his hindquarters from a buck. Off to the side lay the motionless Royal Guard, her head twisted at a disturbing angle.

God dammit I 🤬 love Big Macintosh.

EDIT: With all this talk of colors I might try out a Big Mac Red. Although, I've never been a fan of red text, so it probably won't last.

I've never tried it against anything that wasn't a white background, but I think this looks alright.

That's good to know, well it's not good but now I know why it's taken a bit longer for the latest chapter.
However take your time with it. As most people on this site will tell you it's better to wait for quality.

And about the whole color/colour thing, probably best I don't start a war, it could get messy.

The possibility of Rarity and Applejack fighting each other didn't occur to me. I personally don't see them coming to blows in the next part to be honest, although I'm interested to know what will happen between them.

I would normally agree with this,but Applejack is an extremely stubborn bitch sometimes, so things could get ugly.

She even single-hoofedly caused a war in an episode of the show, and she's even more stubborn in this universe.

As for what's on Dash's mind, I believe she's just thinking about how she should go about talking to the captain, let alone trying to convince her to join them in the fight against Trixie.

Even though it's Rainbow Dash, she's still only one more Pegasus, and one more Pegasus is nothing against NMM's army.
I'm not sure what can be done, but almost anything is better than getting her in as just another grunt.
I'm not sure if that's what you meant, but I just wanted to put that out there.
