I think you've just shown me what a pony oxygen mask would look like....

Altitudes of greater than 15,000 feet, here we come! X3

Just found a couple of funny Applejack images:

I know I posted this before, but I figured out what frame this is.
Dat%252520Ass.JPG

It's from about 1 second after Fluttershy's cutie mark appeared.

The one I'm reading at the moment is so unbelievably depressing that I literally find it funny.

Sweetie Belle was murdered just before the story started. Apple Bloom was kidnapped. Rarity tried to hang herself (the logistics of which I'm still not sure I understand). Pinkie Pie was locked in a basement and attacked with a circular saw, and then threw it back at her attackers face (I started chuckling at this point). Twilight had a gun pulled on her by Cherilee, and in response shot Cherilee in the face (this is the part where I absolutely lost it in laughter). Applejack set herself on fire, was stabbed, has become addicted to painkillers and (most recently) was forced to cut one of her feet off at the joint. Rarity was beaten up, thrown in a cage and then drowned by the Wonderbolts at the end of the most recent chapter, because she was poking around into their underground drug operation.

Its so mind-bogglingly sad that I simply can't take it seriously, like an unintentional parody. Its like you can feel the author working out his frustrations. It was apparently an adaptation/crossover of some story the author read, but to try to transplant MLP characters into this setting is just so unworkable that I can't help but laugh when the situations are described.

I mean it is so overly dramatic that it feels like it is supposed to be a parody, but I have little reason to believe that it was actually written with the intent of being a parody in mind.

I absolutely meant that.

Look at this clip with the original subtitles:

Even if that's some legitimately good acting, it is so overly dramatic that it has "Parody this" all over it.

Its different from that too. Downfall is famous because the Hitler scene was ripe for parody, but the scene as it actually was presented was still fairly believable in context. This thing is the opposite: It isn't really ripe for parody, but the way it is presented makes it seem like it is parodying itself anyways because the context is silly. It actually reminds me a lot of All-Star Batman and Robin, because that is the last thing I can think of that did things so gritty that it elicited laughs.

I know I've read an article on TV Tropes that describes what I mean, but basically, its bad in such a way that if people told the author they hated it, he could step back and say it was all a joke rather than serious and try to cover his ass.

Well, if you share a link so said story, I may be able to make an opinion about it.
I'd have to find it first. I got it sent to me in an e-mail a few hours ago, so I'd have to scour the GrimDark stories on ED to see which one matches up.

Well this sounds like a Heavy Rain (PS3 game) parody! Similar situations.
Loved the game!

This took forever, and it didn't come out as good as I had hoped, but I think it's still pretty good considering my lack of photo editing experience and the fact it's 12:49.

Pinkie Pie was starring at an apple on the right, but I accidentally saved it while a small bit was cut off.

Not perhaps, the situations you described are almost the same =)

(p.s. the game in an interactive detective-drama with multiple endings for all characters)

*My little halo pic*

You can post this in our club if you want. =)

Possibly because she embodies sort of the stuck-up prima donna of the group, but to a fairly lesser extent since she usually gets along with everyone. Now I don't mind her at all, but I'm going to have to agree with the majority here. At least for me, that kind of personality turns me sour. It's unattractive.

Oh don't get me wrong. Nopony is perfect. I can love and tolerate that always. I'd still love to be her friend. Don't know if Spike would agree to that though. :odd:

Nobody likes Rarity.

At least to most, she's the least favorite of the six main ponies.

Actually...I somewhat like her. I think she's one of the better filled-out ponies personality-wise...Sure, she has the vain, pretty-girl side, but hidden within is some sort of aggressive businesswoman who gets down to work when it matters (so long as its' clean). It makes me want to play with her as a writer...and, to be frank, she was brilliant in "A Dog and Pony Show..."

"BUT I THOUGHT YOU WAAANTED WHIIINIIIINGGGG..." was one of the most underrated lines of the year IMO. X3

Then again, I feel Twi's a bit flat at times, so it's kinda meh. /:

Rarity is the least favorite pony. But I don't hate her, she is just the least favorite. If I would teleport there somehow. I am not going to find anything to discuss with her, except clothes I guess. Sure she makes them with style and beauty, but that is all. But maybe I badly know her.
Twilight in the other hand shares the same position with Rainbow. I like how "normal" she is. I like science, I like to dream about stuff, and I would be really happy to talk to her about everything.

EDIT:!!!!!!!!!!!!1!111!!!oneone!1!1!!!!!!!!
Must watch exclusive stuff here for Bronies nao! *aaaa* (not a joke!)

*Mind blown away! I need a medic!!!*
