I copied Mr Latte and got some Sparco pedals, fit really nice and look and feel way better than the original pedals.. Would reccomend them đź‘Ť
Really?. I don´t know what can change between to have one or other piece of metal under a feet...

And for me, none of the pedal changed by users showed in this threat looks beauty than the originals.

Hello all,
I've had my T500rs for about 2 weeks now, I had a G27 prior to this and it was immediately noticeable what a superior wheel the T500rs is to the G27. Now, after many hours of racing GT5, mostly Ferrari F2007, F2010 & X2010, I am noticing some play in the wheel that I did not feel or notice before. Anybody else notice this play in the wheel and if so is there a fix or solution?
TIA
Rob

I have a question. Is the "stepping on gum" feeling the popping sound I am experiencing? This of course is refering to the brake pedal. I read in past posts about this. How is this fixed or modded? I do have the brake mod spring installed and have had this problem from day one. Not really a problem with performance it is just annoying. Thanks, Vince

Vince, you have to pull the spring out of the rubber. Then you can move the rubber forward. I suggest only to the middle position. Moving all the way forward, it's difficult to fully brake and there isn't much throw. ISR talked about this in their full video.

That spring feels nasty. The crunching sounds nasty.

@Vince on Brake Pedal Mod

you can grease the spring and your popping sound would be fix. I had a similar issue when i installed the brake mod. Added a dab of grease and the popping or crunching sound went away.

Ok, I got ya. Could I just add another thin piece of rubber about mid spring. Or would that throw my braking off as if I moved the existing one to far forward? Or just use some thick moly?

I'm so jealous that you guys have the wheel! Just like many others, I'm still waiting on their shifter to be released.

Very easy to solve đź‘Ť :

1) Remove detachable wheel like this:

2) Tighten these 4 screws:

quoting a part of my original post near the beginning of this thread, "-with regards to earlier comments about the "stepping on gum" feeling from the pedals. I was able to remedy this by sticking some thin foam rubber padding I had on the pedals and opposite contact patch. I also placed a piece opposite where the spring from the "realistic brake mod" contacts the base of the brake pedal. helps with the progressive feel of the brake mod. I highly recommend doing this and the feel you get from it is incredible."

Can a T500RS owner confirm if yall get forcefeedback with F1 2010 (PC) or NFS Shift 1 (PC)? I am just curious if yall can play the latest games on a PC (and probably even NFS Shift 2). I suspect these games will work just fine right since this wheel sounds like it has an excellent PC Driver.

Someone briefly mentioned this much earlier in this thread but no one else has brought it up again. And just a page or two back someone else asked

I was honestly just curious. But perhaps all these other games pale in comparison to iRacing, GTR: Evo, etc for you guys so thats why t500rs owners never bring up other games

This wheel is incredible (comparing with the Fanatec PWTS) in a shift 1,nkPRO & all good old simracing game . Unfortunately I do not have F1 2010, Dirt 2 has no FFB.

Very interesting, I think that each owner of T500RS will appreciate this report http://www.f1driving.it/ENG_T500RS_tech_report.pdf

"During this operations, it was necessary to unsoldier a lot of cables, since the use of connectors is reduced to
the minimum privileging soldiering, and that increased the complexity and the time required for the
disassembly."

So that is just bad if you have to take it apart right ? Because I was always told by people who work on electronics that Soldiering a connection is better than using some form of connector to do it..So whats the problem...?

"The chassis looks quite sturdy, but we found no reason for the the huge body size: inside, big areas are just empty."

Okay, also always told by the same electronics people that breathing room is good for cooling..But we all know that from our computers..? So is it really a bad thing that they made it big ?

No shifter, no load cell, no backward compatibility, no XBox support... no thanks!

Yeah it's terrible isn't it, makes you wonder why people buy them. :guilty:
Although then again it's easily, the most satisyfing, enjoyable, precise, powerful and smoothest wheel I've ever owned. Even comes in a nice box for heavens sake, lol.

Overdoser
Gonna try some rubber/foam too and as for small upgrades I recommend some simple straps of Velcro. Only need the soft padded side with sticky back. Apply small cuttings of this to under the pedal stopper plates. Also behind the steering wheels paddles.

This softens the contact on release and reduces that metal "pang" sound.

Care to post some pix?

I use duct tape around the entire top and side of the spring. Works like a charm, no more scratching and crunching/stiff feel to it anymore.

Tried this day nKPro 1.3 with Ks Vintage & rotation angle at 1080° = I confirm result is awesome
