Not 100% sure if I'll be able to make it, I just have to make sure I get up on time

I just hope I wake up in time. :nervous:

I hope you can make it fellas, but even if you miss race 1 you'll be very welcome in race 2.

What time does the race start tomight?

Ooops, sorry for the admin gaff Sparkz. Tarn's right, it's an 8.30pm kick off, but I'll be opening the room about 8.00pm.

I realise it's a little late in the day to sign up and my skills may be rusty, but I'd like to join you tonight.

Baile, you'll be more than welcome, rusty skills and all. It's going to be in the club room of Racers Reunited, club number 1001609.

Cheers, Zo.

Sorry I couldn't join guys, still trying to get in but no matter what I do it still comes up with "room full" even though there is only 8/16 people in there :boggled:

Thanks to all you fellas who were able to make it last night, I hope that you enjoyed it as much as I did.

Couldn't resist taking a photo of Jammy and Qken, 0.027sec apart after 46 minutes of racing.

Cheers, Zo.

The Race 2 was won by you. I finished second.

Sorry for not making yesterday, had a long day yesterday, fell asleep while the race was on, will try and make it to the next event.

Never mind Sparkz, you'll be welcome at Andalusia. The turnaround track is available on my shared list through the club page or.......

https://www.gran-turismo.com/us/gt6/user/#!/friend/Zolon32/course/ Here! (Thanks Mallet)

So, it was you chasing me around all that time was it?

Just a little tip folks, watch out for Russ (Baile) and Paul next week. They're in Astons, and both on the comeback trail. If Russ can remember to put more than 20 litres of fuel in at each pit stop he'll be a force to be reckoned with :)

Cheers, Zo.

Yes, it was me... I was trying to overtake you, but because of my wrong pit strategy, then, I have chased you on thinking that I would win the 2nd race and Overtake Aaroh on the Standings.

Despite of Overtaking Aaroh, I'm second on the Standings behind you, if not mistaken. ;)

:banghead::banghead:
Think I put diesel in it on my final pit stop.:dunce:

I was getting to grips with the Camaro again towards the end of the first race. It's a fun car. In fact us tail enders had a great battle throughout.

I'd never driven the Aston before so that was all new territory.

My on the spur of the moment pitstop strategy worked quite well, it was just my concentrating beyond about 12 laps that went wrong!

Looking forward to the next race. It won't be so flat at Andalusia.

Zo
I've made a big mistake. I'm away for work from next Tuesday evening and I will miss your fantastic Andalusia turnaround circuit. Really sorry. Didn't realise I had to get away Tuesday evening rather than Wednesday morning :banghead::banghead:
However judging by the turnout last week, GT6 isn't quite buried yet.

Trinity racers - Andalusia circuit is a good flowing circuit once you get the hang of it. The last few corners.. if you get them right gives you fantastic speed for the straight...if not kiss that lap and the next lap goodbye!!

I don't have a PS4 yet but will probably get one when the next GT(whatever) comes out. Until then I'll still be racing on GT6. I should make your last 3 races hopefully if that's still ok.

Bergele! I was watching a replay just today, and noticed your name and wondered if you were still around. It'd be good to have you aboard.

Cheers, Zo.

Yea, haven't been around. But hopefully coming back occasionally. For future (next week?) Which car I might be driving or should I have all prepared?

Which car I might be driving or should I have all prepared?

For the first race you'll use the Camaro Bergele, but, which one you use in the second will depend on your position in the first.

Cheers, Zo.

Hi chaps, sorry, but I made a bit of a miscalculation with the laps at Turnaround. 1st race will be 8 laps, then 24 for the second race. I hope that hasn't mucked up anyone's strategy :)

Cheers, Zo.

EDIT, sorry, sorry chaps, second race WILL be 27 laps. Jammy's right, this does introduce a question of whether to go 2 or 3 stops.

I've hardly turned a wheel on 'Turnaround', never mind 27 laps and pit strats. (Fuel, remember fuel !!!).
Got some time tomorrow for some practice.
If I'm online feel free to join me.

Strategy? I keep seeing that word. I must look up the meaning sometime.

27 laps! Not sure about a pitstop, I might stop for a picnic. :)

There's a nice spot by the lake we can stop, let the dogs out an that.

Edit..
I Just read that out loud, sounds kinda weird.

My wife says that a lot. She's from the east side of Leeds.

Chaps, I'm toying with the idea of reassessing car allocation on a race by race basis as opposed to meeting by meeting. This would have the benefit of keeping the racing and championship tighter, but the disadvantage that people will have to be given time during the meeting to familiarise themselves with their new car, where appropriate.

I'm also aware that it's a bit self-serving, because as it stands I'm in the Maserati for both races tomorrow, whereas a poor result in the first race might see me having the Camaro for the second.

Please let me have your thoughts :)

Cheers, Zo.

Just an idea; maybe first race is always allocated by championship points and then 2nd race by result of 1st race.

Edit: or is it too hard to allocate 2nd race also by championship points when result of 1st race is calculated to points?

Edit2: ah - then how about new drivers - they might get Aston to both races (if champioinship points is used).
This cars allocating is little hard to configured to be fair to everyone
