Blu-Tack works a treat on the sticks.

20 Million credits and 4 A-Spec levels. What an awesome way to build up my GTP_tagged account. Level 32 at 5% game completion:)

Maybe I missed this in the previous pages, but has anyone tried this with the FGT? If so, is there any way to get higher than 3rd? I have this running on my system now with my FGT (level 28, and no one's been kind enough to give me an X2010 yet) and can't finish higher than 3rd (at best)...

Still, better 3rd than nothing, I guess!

would say no.. fgt is bit too "slow" ^^

I managed to grind my way to 40 using this method, hit it sometime earlier this afternoon.

Now I just need to grind my way to 40 in B-Spec :(

I've modded my controller to do something like this on B-Spec, but it's a bit more expensive than this. I've removed my square and triangle button and replaced them with a servo motor with a long arm which hovers over circle and X with the motor's shaft inbetween. An Arduino (look it up) is connected to the servo to tilt the arm every now and then to press X and circle to navigate the menus. At the moment it takes 2 hours for it to do a Dream Car Championship (the timing has to allow for the wrong tyres being fitted on races where it can rain), but all being well I'll wake up to a few million in the bank tomorrow.

If anyone has an Arduino and wants the code I used for this I'll happily send it, none of it is code I wrote myself anyway except for the timings and servo positions (which will vary anyway).

I probably should post this but.....

look up a device called XIM, it will let you use your PC to control your P3, it mainly for playing FPS becasue it allows you to use a KB/Mouse to play but you can also write macros that will send KB strokes from your PC to your PS3.

I figure once you get high enough in B-spec, Bob can run the enduros without any input from me.

Most Logitech Gaming Keyboards already do this.

I can't seem to get this to work, pressing enter on my USB keyboard or my Sony keypad doesn't advance the race finish screens.
I had the same problem but having the keyboard plugged in when I started the PS3 up solved the problem. That's worth a try, provided you haven't already done so.

Just trying this out tonight. Sometimes A-Spec Bob wins, sometimes he loses, sometimes he gets stuck nosed into a wall. Fiddling with the steering rubber band helps a bit - at least he's pretty consistently in the top 5, so I get paid no matter how he finishes. :)

Yeah, I got it working now, thanks. I didn't restart my PS3, I quit out of GT5 to check the keyboard was actually working for messages and stuff and it worked when I got back in.
