I think you should split the list into 3 sections:

Bugs
New features
New content (car, track)

Wishful thinking for new free content I think.

I think the theory behind the track creator is that it is a generator rather than a editor per se. It would require a total rework to get it to function how I think you want.

What they should do is creator a fully functional editor and stick it on the ps store for 5-7 gbp. That could be a great addition in the next year or 2 to extend the life of the game.

My additions:

Bugs

Main menu locks and load time
Older Civic type r that is in the new dealer is not a new car.

New
Lan play and multiscreen (a step back from g4 as is)
Add option to remove distracting gear/break indicator on hud.

You should put a time limit on the thread and then get hold of a dp contact to send it to. Don't wait for someone to stumble on this.

Hard copy wouldn't harm either

Increase FFB by AT LEAST 50%, WAYYY too weak. It's still amazing with my DFGT but it could be a lot stronger.

Do you have arms of steel? Defaults almost seem too strong to me. Just wait until you get into the long races - you will eat your words :)

An absolute must is your personal best time for each track and the car you drove!

Best lap time is shown per race. So if I want to gloat to my buddy that I just finished in 1:51:06, he has to be there during that race. That sucks! I should be able to go to a screen in GT life, click a button, select a track from all that I've raced, and see a list of the best 3 times and the car driven.

The 2 major important things are:
Adjust the G25/ G27 clutch /gearshift debounce speed (that is the amount of milliseconds the game will accept as a clean shift, so if you shift so fast the debounce speed is under 20ms you will get neutral and a frustrated driver.
So if you make it accept say 10ms that will still stop flat shifting but allow people who use the clutch for a real feel in the game won't be left frustrated getting neutral every 4 or 5 shifts, just because it's a smidgen faster then last time.

The 2nd is have in the options the ability to turn off all the driving aids, so that when a race loads you don't have to go into the setting before every single race turn off TC and ABS. For some reason it remembers all the others like driving line, spin recovery etc, but just those 2 do not get the message.

The 'box full of neutrals' is driving me absolutely insane, especially on downshifts. I tried driving the Stealth Mazda 787B with the clutch and it was a total joke, in 1 lap of La Sarthe I think I only managed 2 or 3 clean downshifts.
Other than that really niggling problem the driving physics are stunning, I really like how you need to do heel-and-toe braking not to unsettle the rear end under downshifts going into a corner but this little clutch problem really lets it down.

How about return of Fast forward for B-Spec modes? B-specs are twice the distance for the same money.. Thats just bad :(
Or Ability to change your outfit if you change your mind?

my biggest gripe.

Why is there not a SINGLE Subaru Legacy post 2003?

Not even an MY07 2.5GT ? No Gen5 MY10 and up? Fozzy? Come onnnnnnn

All i get is this poorly detailed MY03 GT ... not happy Jan.

Loving everything so far though, obviously paint thing is a bit unflattering for PD. Im sure we can expect many updates ect but how hard could it have been to make the Legacy a premium model, some of the premium cars are very questionable? Daihatsu OFC-1, premium? Seriously?

Allow to upgrade brakes! - How useful is tuning that car into 500bhp when you have stock stopping power? Not very.

Imagine driving a Cobra with stock brakes!! :scared:
Oh wait I have done that its horrible, brake about 300metres before the corner..

Fix shadows... prologue shadows looked better

Add brake upgrades... WTF?

I doubt standard cars bad textures can be fixed at this point, the standards really do look worse than I expected, even in the show room of the used car lot. :(

The sometimes strange choices of cars to be premuim is the reason why I think in the intial dev phases they intended to do all of them with interiors and high poly counts. They probably got well through development and decided to draw a line under what they had made premuim - the rest were probably left as basic imports from gt4 models.

What may back this up is the fact that cars appearing for the first time in the series are all premuim.

Rather than do what they did with gt3 and hold their hands up and say 'there isn't time to do all of the cars at top quality, so you are getting less cars than in the previous game' they decided to throw the others in. Whether you think that is a good move is a matter of opinion.

- The 1/4 Mile speed test
- Top Speed test

Like we had in GT4, so we can measure our cars straightline performance.

Online was a disapointment, anything to improve it would be good.

Thats true, the defaults quite strong. My lancer in real life doesn't push me like that. I got a sore shoulder muscle from holding the countersteer.

I thought lack of interiors would bug me but it doesn't. My first two cars were standards and I don't miss the interiors at all. The game is just too fun to care about such details.

I want the Indianapolis TT physics back. Hell I'd be happy with Prologue physics :grumpy:

I am brand new to GT and this was a shocker to me. One would think brake systems are vital to a car, racing a car at that.

A few things-

-Shadows (many have said)
-Adjustable hood view
-Leaderboards, and be able to check your standings at end of race

Overall, this game is quite fun, a few more hours and I will feel at home.

Quick question, is there an option for in-game music that allows you to change the menu music to a different genre?

-remove Kilowatts (kW) measuring system and make Horse Power (HP) instead. (in russian version)

p.s. - tell me if there's another way to make h.p. measuring system.

Fair enough... as the OP says we DEFINITELY need a livery editor!

The one in *cough cough* is very simple but produces amazing results - GT5 wouldn't even need to reinvent the wheel with it!

I'd like a texture update for the worst-looking standard cars (Vitz & Co), the option to instantly repeat a race after completing it, and my biggest gripe:
The value of a car has to go up when you tune it. Right now, you can sink 100.000 credits worth of upgrades into a car and it will not increase its value when you want to sell it.

Wow, the game has been out for mere hours and already the bitching starts... of course there are going to be things you feel are missing or could be better, but maybe give it a chance first. Sheesh.

premium fiat panda 90 xD ... my dream =D

BTW i wanna more rims, and the possibility to change it to the standard cars ...
and the full custom body to all premium cars and not only few cars

As I play this game im realizing how important a livery editor actually is to me. But I pretty much have no confidence it will get added. Thats a big project and I think it needs to be a focus of development to make it happen, like it was for forza. I dont know how realistic it is to think we'lll just get that patched in in the next year or so.

Maybe it could be in GT6, which sucks to have to wait that long for it.

i actually think they scrapped rims for standards for a reason, have you seen the detail on those rims, they would stand out i believe, on standards... Making them look silly.

But boy i wouldn't care for that, i hope they patch the all out rims for every car and the jagged rain and smok effects just around the car.

The shadow on the other hand is not about a patch, it's about post-processing they decided not to do, but they do implement it with photomode, because we would only have a max of 30/ 20 fps...

Now that i think of it, the jagged smoke and rain is also post-proc... oh no...

Proper DAMAGE, nothing else matters right now IMO, cant be a serious sim without real damage and mechanical damage, what is there now is NOT close to good enough.

How about the AI cars get penalized for ramming into the lowly human in a license test? They never do and somehow the lowly human get's punished for the AI slamming into him, something deffo wrong with that, sort it out KY that's a good lad. While you're at it, I too would like to see a return of the racing modification feature in GT2, I want my Mazda Carol to have racing stripes, you know it makes sense.

Oh, and if you do read this congrats on making a very rare item, a game worth buying a console for.

HUH? no one is bitching, they said updates are coming, we are saying what we think should be included? Comprehension is not your strong suit.

I'm tired of B-Spec. I like having multiple drivers for endurance racing, but I don't want to deal with another driver beyond that.

Regarding your point:

-Replace the random/cycling new car dealerships with a static dealership a la GT1-4 (W&N says: this was my idea, but I didn't add it to the main list because I wanted to see how it would go over here first)

I don't think the new car dealerships cycle, everything that is premium seems to be visible from the get-go. The USED car dealership cycles. and I'm fine with that - I've been avoiding standards like the plague thus far.

Suggestions from me:

- Option to completely remove the HUD (you covered it, thought it was worth mentioning again)
- Option to install Volk TE-37 on BMWs (e.g. Z4M, M3 etc.). I can do this in real life, and I love me these JDM wheels on BMWs - really hoping I could recreate that here
- Increase sensitivity of damage engine (it seems to be there, just takes way too much to actually see/feel it)
- Visible changes when performing weight reductions. This doesn't have to be huge, just swap in a racing steering wheel on the first stage and some racing bucket seats on the next, something like that. You could use a pre-defined range of seats/wheels and vary them across different cars.

Other than that, I've loved every minute of my GT5 experience thus far. Hell, I found myself dreaming about it last night
