Here is picture of a rock wall on my road. It looks more like a cave formation from Mammoth Cave.

Well.... I got tricked again.

-18°C feels like -31°C with the windshield..... later this week it will be -4°C and 8°C. That's when you see Canadians out in tank tops.

Rain and 6°C here. We're supposedly going to get snow and temperatures below 0°C by the end of the week.

It's been unseasonably dry and warm in Redding this year. With summers as hot as 117 in some places, it never gets very snowy here, but we get a fair amount of rain.

In Mid-December it snowed about 4-6 inches and was as cold as 20, which is unheard of here.

Since then? Not. A. Drop. Ski resort is barren up north, it gets up to about 70 (even 80 the other day), the lake is low...

I will gladly trade places with someone in the poor weather. Winter without rain (or low temps) is silly and I hate it. Watch the news, we'll have another bad fire year...

Rain is gone, no clouds at the moment and lot of sun at this moment, eventhough it is still early in the morning.

+2°С and almost no snow. :grumpy: What's been is melt down already.
Perhaps only Russians can miss the weather that Americans are getting mad of...

It's been raining hard with brief intermissions from rain the whole day. It's also been really windy with 30+mph gusts, and last night wind's storm blew down a bunch of trees onto power lines.

While this is happening outside my window, it's interesting also watching this on the TV on the Seahaws-Saints game.

I was out shoveling the driveway yesterday in jeans and a t-shirt, skipped the jacket. It was 28F, felt like a billion. :D

-3°C. Noooo, it's cold outside. But on the bright side, the sun is shining and there are no clouds.

The USA'ers are probably going to react by saying that -3°C is not cold at all.

:D

So it's not -50°C anymore?

I never watch the news. Last week I saw the news because my father was watching it and I had to watch it too.

Right now we're at 1°C. Tonight should go down around -3°C, as well. Quite alright for me, and better than -50°C. :P

Danish and Belgian weather seems to be on par.
TB
For now, no. Right now it's 40F/4C, feels like 34F. Another no jacket day. :D
34F is definitely not 'no jacket weather' in my book. :D
But coming from Europa's temperatures to normal winter temperatures must feel like it's summer.

You're quite right - coming from what we had to now is an increase of, counting windchill, approximately 80°F. Hence no coat.

Back to positive temperatures. Still wearing a jacket or coat though.

Slightly overcast.

This is the first winter in my life I haven't seen or touched snow, so far.

There's not so far either. :D

And, we've officially gotten snow now, along with frost during the day (-1°C currently). The thing is, it's such a small amount of snow, it can't be seen.

Edit: Landscape is now covered quite a bit in white... Looks like I spoke too soon. :P

It's either bright blue skies or rain here. Too much rain. But the temps are still just in double figures (10-11°c / 50-52°f), so I'm not complaining too much. In fact, this has been the mildest winter since 2008/2009, probably wettest, but mildest anyway. To put things into perspective, I have oil fired central heating which we order in 900 litre batches. in October 2012 I ordered a batch and had to order a refill just before Christmas when we had the first heavy (for us) snowfall. Last year I ordered a batch in September and it's still going strong. In fact, I won't have to reorder until February. So far that's a full 900 litres less than last year!
