Overcast, dark very windy weather. Temperatures are temperatures we normally have in April/May.
 
Right now Only a balmy -20F/-29C but with the wind chill of -47F/-42C

Today High of -18F/-28F Wind Chill of -40F to -50F.
Friday High of 30F.

News said that it could do an 80 degree temp swing in a week. (that's wind chill to high on Friday)

-49 to 28 on Friday and 29 on Saturday puts me at 77/78 degree difference. And still below freezing. That's brutally insane. :boggled:

Yup, at lease we are giving the cold to everyone else ;) So we are not alone
 
13" of snow with an expect 6-8" more today into tonight due to the lake. It's 4 outside right now, but the windchill is supposed to hit -30. I'm just glad I'm not in Wisconsin this week for work, per the people who are there right now the windchill is hitting -50. That would be a whole bunch of NOPE for me.

And for the first time I've been given a snow day from work.

In-laws live just a few minutes away. Close enough to be handy, but not overly annoying.

Preschool is closed tomorrow as well.

I thought I would break my door handle trying to get into my car. The car started after a scary sluggish groan, check engine light came on, and I swear it feels like I have a cylinder not firing 100% of the time. Ain't got no time for that.

Guess I know what I'm doing later.

Currently it is 0F, but feels like -20.

It is insane outside. I am soooooooo glad I put the snow tires and winter wheels onto the WRX otherwise I would not have been able to get out of the garage this morning. I don't mind the snow but I hate when its this bitter cold out. I was pushing snow up to the headlights in a few spots this morning. Just crazy.
 
Hurray! The cold air is arriving! The windchill will be -15 to -20 tomorrow morning. Glad we're near sea level and that the Chesapeake Bay keeps us a bit warmer. :P

Same here, Not by the Gov though but Most schools are closed tomorrow too.

Heat Wave. After -20 with a wind chill of -50 this morning we are now at -11. Yay :D

Here in Virginia, we're going down to 9°F tonight, with wind chills of -15°F. Lots of closings and delays. Tomorrow will only reach 19°F.

A toasty 17F tomorrow. Got almost no snow.
 
Yep, 80° and very clear and sunny. But, temps are falling for the next few days. Low to mid 60's. That's freezing!!! Burrrrrr!!!

29 degrees as of an hour ago. For some reason this part of the world has its hottest time in late afternoon. Perhaps that's because of the time of year.

Anyhow, iced beer and bqq whole chicken are a necessary consumption right now.

It was -4 when I got up. The car cranked 5 times before starting.

Now the warming begins.
 
-10f when I got up this morning. Wind chill -30f. I cant ever remember it being this cold in Michigan in a long time.

It was so bitter cold last night. Ended up snapping 2 of the chains on my quad while I was plowing. I don't have a very large driveway but it took me over 2 hours to plow and shovel. The quad kept getting stuck. Time to get a snow blower instead of plowing with the quad. It was fun using the quad for a few years but its just too hard on my back picking it up every time it gets stuck. Now with the chains snapped, its a sign to get a snow blower.
 
School has been closed for the second day in a row here.

My dad's waste oil furnace is barley keeping the shop above freezing. In short, It's freaking cold.
 
7pm: 11°C, more wind and no clouds. The stars and moon are shining. :D

It's going to get colder next week though. Winter is coming.
 
Yep, it's impossible to understand how cold -50°C is when you have never experienced it. I hope I will never find out.
 
Yet another night with a Wind Chill Advisory, At lease it's only supposed to get down to -15F air temp with -20 to -30F wind chill. #StupidCold.
 
Tonight: -27F, windchill of -28F
Tomorrow: -8F, windchill of -9F! Finally I can go outside without gloves!

Saturday is still supposed to hit 30F. Sweet relief.
