Well, today was a great day. It was in the mid 70s and had a nice cool breeze to boot. What a great way to spend the last full day camping.

Well, I don't think it'll break 70 degrees today. I honestly don't care about the weather for tomorrow (Fourth of July) because Saturday is more important to me. Why is a measly Saturday more important than Independence Day weather wise? I'll be in Ohio on Saturday for the NHRA qualifying, and cars won't be running down the strip if it rains.

Monsoon season has arrived.

If it's going to be this humid, at least it should RAIN!!!
It's absolutely horrible here when it's humid because it brings out the entire mosquito population. We either get stuck with horrible humidity in the summer or freezing temps and snow in the winter. We can't win here in Michigan...

I thought we were gonna get some dust earlier, but it was a fakeout.
Poured here for a good long while. Was talking with my Dad (in Tempe) and they got the dust, but no rain. Just checked the NWS radar and it's actually moving north west, more towards Buckeye. The runoff drainage ditch behind my apartment is full and running pretty good. Lots of lightning and thunder. The forcast says same 30% chance all weekend, so you guys may get some soon.

Monsoon storms popping up all around me, hopefully they'll consolidate and bring some more rain. (I'm in Casa Grande, center of photo)

Monsoon season? Don't even get me started. 5+ months of torrential rain, at least twice a day downpours, coupled with near 40 degree heat.

:(

Better than 5+ months of ZERO rain.

That storm puttered out and didn't do anything but put on a good lightning show.

Maybe tomorrow...

80 degrees F here and really humid. That coupled with an 80 percent chance of rain today means that today will probably suck weather wise.

Finally, some relief. The humidity is finally down and so are the temps. Low 90's with lower humidity. Feels so much better than the last three days, which were just horrible. The kind of days you just don't want to go outside for any length of time.

Coldest week of the year coming up! Temps wont get above 14C / 57F here for the week! Strong Antarctic fronts are due this week so lots of wind and fallen trees before the rain/hail/storms arrive and 1 meter of snow is expected on the mountains, so great for skiers. Nights are gonna get near freezing by the weekend!! Hurry up Summer!

Why doesn't it snow here :( ?

Monsoon storm rolling through right now. Photo below is before the dust storm hit. After it hit the winds were so bad, it was howling through the buildings. I seriously thought there was a tornado.
