Can I transfer my Xbox 360 power brick to the Xbox one? It looks similar.

Something I noticed is the video has 3,500+ dislikes.

I wonder why they are so intent on requiring the Kinect.
I don't know anyone that bought it and actually enjoyed it (though I'm sure there is someone out there who used it).

The DRM policies gone... Good. 👍
Does that leave me wondering if they will be using DRM down the road? Absolutely.

I hate to say it but I just don't trust MS at this point and it's going to be a while before I open my wallet for their product.

I agree.MS is not a hardware maker, Zune,Surface,X Box, 360 have all been money losers.I know money is no issue.
Sony has been a hardware maker since the days of the transistor radio, they know how to make hardware. They make stuff we use every day.I also do not trust MS in any way shape or form, the Xbox 1 looks like a vcr minus the slot.

I wonder how many Xbox Ones will have to suffer when family members put something on top of the top air vent(s). Stuff like magazines, game cases or BDs. There might even be people stupid enough to place another device onto their Xbox One because it takes up a lot of space under your TV and it will need to be the bottom device because of its size if you have to stack them.

What MS doesn't give you batteries for the controller.LOL:sly:

You have absolutely nothing positive to say do you? I guess you'll linger around to bitch and moan for a little longer about how the Xbox One sucks to see if your posts make any progress. Good luck.

Whoa there tiger. You seem to get all bent out of shape when I am giving out my opinion.I actually own a 360 (5th one) . Other than it being repaired or replaced 4 times it's great.

Had 5 360's, 3 for a triple screen setup and my son had 2. No problems with any.
Why bring this up... this heavily biased forum needs some balance.
For the record, didn't have problems with my PS3 either. Why bring this up... this heavily biased forum likes to hear this.

^How long are those 5 have been running ? Did you pamper them to prolong their life ? Because sometimes lemons do come by once in a while  No matter how much attention and care, electronics can give up the ghost any time they want to - mostly later on, but some just destined to fail sooner than later ;)

Sounds like you are just trying to sugar coat honest complaints.
I mean, don't get me wrong, I really did like the first xbox and seriously considered the 360. However, there is no getting around the fact that the 360 had major failure problems. Claim the forum is biased if you wish but that's not entirely without good reason.
Dated material here... http://www.gamespot.com/news/xbox-360-failure-rate-542-6215590

Not so dated material (under the radar but bad for xbox one at comic con this year)... http://www.gamesthirst.com/2013/07/...stem-malfunction-at-comic-con-numerous-times/

I tend to agree with the second article's parting words that we shouldn't be worried because the console isn't out yet but at the same time it is scary to think of trouble like this already coming up when you consider the track record for MS.

Sorry to sound so biased but it's straight talk, anyone trying to say the 360 was generally reliable and the red rings of death weren't a major problem is definitely the one with a bias. Plain and simple.

I have had the same Xbox for 5 years. It went through heavy gaming for 3 years. 6-8+ gaming sessions on weekends, and 2-4 hour gaming sessions during the weekdays. I didn't really clean my Xbox either. I just don't get that much dust in my room.

Here you go folks, take a look at how to make a console.Notice there is no vents on top that dust, dirt and hopefully no water gets into.

The PS4 just redirects air towards the rear of the console since it has all of that ventilation.

The Xbox one can't do that. All of the ports that is has on the rear of its console does not allow for a lot of ventilation. They have to have ventilation on the sides and on the front. The Xbox One seems to be made so a RROD 2.0 does not happen. Of course it will happen to some because they will place their console in a cabinet that has no air flow whatsoever, and complain to Microsoft about how awful their console is when it overheats.

Reading the comments on the link it seems people will do that to their PS4. I hope the console does not overheat but if it does, I seriously do not want to hear them complain.

Mike the X Box 1 has vents all over the place http://thejetlife.com/2013/05/26/official-xbox-one-update/ ,like I said before,if someone puts a magazine ,game case,or spills something on it,( kids do spill stuff, and put everything on systems, trust me) good luck. The PS4 can also be put on it's side with the base unit.If anyone does not know by now that any system needs ventilation, then they deserve what they get.

Again like I said so the RROD 2.0 does not happen. If you are going to place something on top of the Xbox one the left side is available with no vents. The spilling I have nothing for because I don't know the internals of the console. I know the PS4 can be put on it's side. The base makes the PS4 taller then the Xbox One.

If you spill liquids on your console, then you deserve what you get. Also have to question people that put all kinds of stuff on top of a fairly expensive system.

Do you have children? Dude my sub cost's almost as much as a PS4 and my kids think it's a table.

OK? Liquid's and electronics usually mean poof.

Here Mike look at the pics and see for yourself, the Xbox is a monster. It's almost as big as the first gen PS3.

The Xbox 360 had a metal plate under the cover that sometimes could prevent you frying out your Xbox 360. Kids do spill things but I was taught to keep liquids away from electronics. My parents would make sure I did not get too close to electronics with a drink just to make sure I do not break it. You might want to see if you can elevate your Xbox One from your kids.

About the size, any different links. It looks like he just took a picture of it and cropped it into the picture.

My kids are older now, so that's not an problem.I have my PS3 on foam pieces on all 4 corners, with a laptop fan below it, so cooling is not an issue. My Xbox 1 purchase is probably not going to happen as I see it now.Just don't like the looks of it,the always on Kennect, having to buy gold to use Skype (free),Netflix (I already pay for it) and other stuff.By the time you add up the cost of the system $ 500 ,another controller, charging unit $ 75 and gold membership $60, plus tax well that $ 730 after tax is better spent somewhere else.

I do hope you have fun with your PS4. All I ask from you is to not throw hate at the Xbox One (It at least seems that way from your posts). They both have their pros and cons.

Sorry to derail this...whatever it is, but here's a really cool video of my second most anticipated game for the next gen, Project Spark: Link

Looks really, really good. Plus, it's 100% cross-platform compatible, so you can create & collaborate with people on Xbone or PC (or tablet..?) all at once. Very excited for this 👍

Yeah, people haven't been paying attention to this game much, I like the looks of it. It looks like the Xbox One's answer to Knack, only more extreme. I love creating my own worlds and seeing them work. Definitely something I'm going to get when I get a Xbox One. And I think it's best that you derail the discussion before.
