Things in GT6 you want "fixed". (Please read bold first)

1.Bring back the traditional tire wear indicator-where it changes from blue to green, to yellow, to orange to red. Changing it to something new for GT5 and then changing again for GT6 is just silly and its hard to figure out what "3" is equivalent to? Is that like the orange? At least color coding was simple.
2. Nitrous... Just why is this on the game. Can't get rid of NOS now as many of us have spent 100,000 credits per car on this for many cars, to take it away now leaves many people having wasted a lot of money.
3.Give us some races with no PP limit-otherwise why shell out millions for the FGT or Red Bull? For the prestige?

If "many of us" have spent credits on nitrous, that's probably an indication of why it's in the game. Just saying.

I'd be happy if I just had my preorder credits, right now. The income curve is horrendous, but it's made that much more painful when you have a million credits that won't show up.
Hi all, Hey PD where are the prize cars winning events? This game is a BIG dissapointment it will stay in the cupboard whilst I continue to play GT5.

I can't understand why a company who has a huge game following in Gran Turismo would release a new version of the game that is incomplete and unashamedly seems to want to turn off its fans who have religiously supported the game for 15 years. This release is big let down and in my opinion takes several backwards steps from GT 5
Very poor effort PD and Sony!

i thing i have found that is bugging me is the fact that some cars are locked to flappy paddles on g27 wheels, the merc sauber c9 for example u can see the drivers hands move off the wheel and move a gear stick and for no reason at all on my g27 i have to use paddles?, no clutch and no gear stick right "the real driving simulator" mmm not so sure gt

its the same with the ford falcon xr8, gt6 just ruined v8 supercars for me

u could use the clutch and gear stick with these cars on gt5 like they are in real life so why take something away that was real????????????

Another bug occured yesterday, ive hosted an online race 4 laps Nurburg 24h (150mb conection, no not 15 but 150mb) 14 people participated.

Bug 1- i was leading the race, whent in to the pits to change tyres and fuel, but the pit crew was missing and my car wouldnt leave the pits no matter what i did. So i had to cancel and give up my race BUMMER!!!

Bug 2- When racing with dynamic weather/time settings on the Nurburg 24h the sky would change every half a second to blue sunny sky to very clouded. alternating between those 2, very annoying!!

Bug 3- Although i have a very high internet connection with 150mb download- 15mb upload, im still having problems with grip levels changing now and then. After pits and when the race start. tested with 2 HSV cars brand new.

Bug 4- Whell not really a bug, but since i enjoy hosting online races, its a little weird that i still cant use decent reglementations, (although much better than gt5). When we finish the first race (4 laps) i would like to give people a penalty when they want to use the same car over and over. Like a weight penalty besides the PP - weight and power limit. Maybe not a big deal for most of u guys, but when hosting a 600 pp DTM-TOURING- JGT race, i dont whant 14 HSV hondas on the grid with 1 bmw and 1 Nissan GTR.
Further more when hosting races, i want more options. So i dont have to tell people a gazillion times that an
LMP or roadcar is not allowed when the rules are very clear. ( like 600PP DTM-TOURING-JGTC CARS). I want to choose the cars myself, like al gt classes dtm classes etc etc so its clear for everybody ( gt6 has a few options for this but to mainstream). If want to host a SUPER/HYPER Car event a vw bug doesnt belong in this event.
Another thing i would very much apreciate is that besides the short description when in search for a room/lounge, is a larger description in the room itself with the host his/her reglement. So example; Drive clean and profesional, do not do this or that etc etc, now everytime someone enters the room i have to tell the same thing a 100 times.

oh and maybe im a bit off or out of line here but if you are searching for a room why dont add options like rookie- semipro- and pro with predifined options( adjustable)
So when entering a room you already know that there probably is no abs-traction control etc. Now people come in look at the red icons, go in and leave again. anti slip option makes no sense.
And please PD, change the hud settings! I want to know where people are on the track, whats my gap with the car in front of me and the car behind me! When someone is way faster than me,and already miles and miles further on the track, i couldnt care less what the difference is, but i need to know what the gap with the car in front/back of me is.

When buying cars, the car details should list the possible changes. Example; can/cannot add aero, new rims, color change body, color change rims, has turbocharger option, has nitro option, IS CONSIDERED A NORMAL CAR OR NOT, (not all are obvious).
Either show these details before being bought, or create the sell back for same price option AS LONG AS NOTHING WAS DONE TO IT. that would be fair.

If Spec Racing online (One-Make filter) your miles driven do not count on your stats page.

Just tested it with the HSV. Ran about 7 races with practice in-between; 4,250.8 miles before and after.

Changed lobby to a 500PP room, ran two practice laps with one of my cars and then exited the lobby. My miles driven jumped up 3.6 miles.

What a shame. ~100miles in the HSV were not recorded.

Although GT6 does record online practice laps, where GT5 does not. So that's a plus.

the speedo in the c3 corvette stingray is still reading in kmh not mph this is a recurring problem since gt5 why havent they fixed it yet? im getting the feeling that they cant do dials right

All the cars (that I have seen) are like this :indiff:

New glitch report;

The track disappeared from underneath my car while watching a replay for the iA mission race using the Schultz GTR. I know this problem has been reported in other topics to some degree, but it's definitely a glitch! I lost it for practically all the wiggly bits in the Hatzenbach section, it came back once I was onto the straight bit.

[CAR SETTINGS]
1)
We have no 'Default Settings' option - I will be happy if someone says otherwise.
2) When adjusting the Power Limiter it no longer displays the real-time impact on PP so we always have to go back adjust several times.

I would like to see the option to save default camera settings. Every time we go back to it, perhaps countless times during a replay, we must select ratio etc again.

Bug 1) when you put after market alloys wheels onto cars that have different size front to rear wheels, it makes the bigger size wheel smaller and then reduces the grip level that is produced. So you might as well keep them stock.

Bug 2) I'm not to sure what cars this one applies for but I have been in a few standard cars that you go on the inboard view and their bonnet vanishes.

Bug 3) On the RedBull junior 2014 it need a faster steering rack if you are using a wheel because you need to put so much steering lock onto it for a single seater it should have hardly any.

Bug 4) It's not a bug as such but it is one that bugs me a little bit, Some of the standard cars line are a bit pix elated and I would of though they would of made them a little bit cleaner because they used the same cars since GT4.

UCD no more! I am a bit disappointed that the used car dealership is not their any more, because I though it was good when I saw people on GT5 with Rare cars that you have never seen before.

This is my problem:

http://community.singstar.com/t5/Gr...-PS3-off-for-some-reason/td-p/20303209/page/5

Exactly like these people in the link, my older fat ps3 hasn't frozen but after an hour of playing (EVEN AFTER I OPENED AND DUSTED) it shuts off with blinking red light! ALOT of people seem to have this problem with older fat ps3s and my ps3 can run for hours on other games. Because other people are having the problem with gt6 only and my ps3 is (hopefully) not dying based off of the many others with this problem. This is a biiiig issue in my opinion. I like the game when I do play it during hour increments but this IS INSANE that this prevents me from even enjoying my game.

-The Toyota MR2 g-limited supercharger is lighter than the less powerful non-supercharged 1600 G model in the game. The same error that was in GT4.
-MR2 1600 G-limited Super Charger '86 - 1070kg about right
-MR2 1600 G '86 - 1120kg ! totally wrong! should at least be lighter than the supercharged one, should be around 1000kg - 1050kg

The Lexus IS300 Cross Sport '01
in the spec sheet screen it says its a 3L V6 engine. pretty sure its meant to say Inline 6.
the same car with the same specs under Toyota does say Inline 6.
Pretty minor error, but wrong none-the-less.

Sorry if this one has come up already but 13 pages is a lot to trawl through. Just been racing online where several players were penalised because the tyre/fuel menu didn't pop up on entry to the pits during a race where tyre type change was switched on.

Maybe it's probably been mentioned in this thread, but why aren't these points mentioned more often?

1. Tire bug: when putting for a fresh set of tires while driving a gt3 car; the Audi r8 oreca. The car handles like garbage to begin with. You put a new set of tires on the oversteer problem is cured and it's drive able. The bug is the same for a majority of the race cars.

2. Settings sheet: when going to adjust individual gear ratios, there is no indication of how fast you're going when you go to adjust the 6th gear, that goes for the final gear. There's no reset to default like in gt5.

3. Suspension bug: one thing I noticed is when setting the ride height lower in the front it produces under steer, rather than oversteer. I lowered it in the rear car which produces over steer. Basically it's backwards, in how to set it up.

4. Changing regulations in online lobby: when you go to set a regulation for a certain class of vehicle, it disables to option restrict horse power, tires, ect. Why?

By far the categories in on-line need to be expanded to include GT1 and 2.
As an example what category do the racing configured lotus elese bellong?
Or the standard C5 R corvette? Also you cannot regulate tuning in the GT3 category. Finally, there needs to be categories for stock super/hyper cars.

Switch your setting to km/h, it will show mph... Try it on the C6 and the C7, it will show mph on the hud.

My main question is where is the rest of the game? This is way too small to pay $60 for! No endurance races, cars you can't race when fully tuned, only seasonal time trials, and the cart racing sucks.
It was also advertised as being more of a "stand-alone" game and that is what we call a lie. Without internet, this game is a complete joke and Polyphony should be on its hands and knees begging forgiveness from the GT faithful! If you want to continue to have a following, you may want to make sure your product is truly everything you say it is. As for GT7, not excited about it at all if this is what you are offering us

An addition from my side: when hosting a fresh lobby, as host you start in first race from position 16, no matter how many people are with you.
I noticed this several times yet. Settings were training / race, starting grid counter wise.
Can anybody else confirm this strange bug?

It looks like at least some of the stock spring rates are wrong, typically too stiff. Values are different from GT5, so it would appear to be a deliberate "improvement"?!

Thread I noted this in:https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/stock-spring-rates-incorrect.295487/

Oh, and it's been said before but front aero parts giving downforce would be nice. I think in an early version of GT5 they used to give a fixed DF of 5. This was removed later on and they basically became cosmetic parts only. A front splitter and canards should do something.

i actually own a 1986 MR2 1600 G and put it on a scale with spare tire no weight saving small ultra-pro socket set in the back with out me in it. It weighed 1100kgs (Note) has the sun roof option, that could bring the weight up a small bit from a hard top version. And i removed the AC from the car during a 20V silver top swap which before you say anything is the same size and weight engine.

The "rest of the game" is coming shortly on an update.

A bug ive noticed the past couple of days too... My engine sound on my Evo 9 seems to not exist just the turbo whine does for about half the race which is REALLY annoying as i use manual gears and i dont use the rev limiter in cockpit often (quite difficult to watch that and the cars infront etc), i listen to the engine sound to shift gears...

Cars often seem to weigh heavier when you measure them in real life in "driving spec". You had all the fluids in it? full tank of fuel? aftermarket wheels? stereo gear?
Proves their 1120kg figure is wrong for the '86 NA. the 1070kg is probably close enough then for the NA, maybe they simply put it wrong way round as the supercharger hardware and gearbox seems to weigh a good 50kg extra. (again same error as in GT4)

I always thought the '86 models were lighter than the '88 onwards. I own an '88 NA btw.

I've only just started the game and I'm really enjoying it, but from memory I've noticed a lot of odd bugs - apologies if these have all been mentioned before!

I like to use cockpit view and there are a lot of bugs with cockpits. In some cars the dashboard dials are not illuminated. In some e.g. Lancia Stratos Anniversary Edition they are not illuminated then they light up after a certain amount of time. In the Renault Clio V6 the dashboard lights kept changing colour when I raced at Brands Hatch. Some interiors are so dark that this view is rendered unusable and it seems worse at some tracks e.g. Silverstone.

Sometimes there are sound problems, especially at Mount Panorama - I lost all the sound and had to log off, switch off the PS3 and restart the race to get the sound back. Sometimes the car starts with an electric sound and the proper engine sound does not start till later - I was racing at Mount Panorama and Matterhorn and this seemed to affect both tracks.

The pp level is not linked in real time to the power limiter so it takes forever to trim power to the right pp level - the same fault applies to ballast level - this was fine in GT5.

I consider AI which ram your car and knock you off the track to be a fault - in GT5 that was most pronounced in the Nascar races - the AI are not intelligent enough to brake appropriately or steer to the side if you are in their way. In GT6 PD appear to have tried to make the AI more competitive, but this has resulted in AI that race like it's a destruction derby - so far I've found this to be worst at the Mount Panorama Night Masters race.
