Things You Want To See In GT6 Besides Vehicles and Tracks

I hate exclusive cars personally, it's one of my biggest gripes with the other game. Exclusive pre-order cars and unicorn cars are terrible ideas. If you model a car let everyone drive it, not just a select few because they pre-ordered your game.

Even worse are regional or retailer exclusive cars, something I believe they're doing with Horizon. Hey we've modelled this awesome Ferrari but if you don't buy the game from Amazon or win a contest you can't drive it. Sorry. It's stupid and annoying.

Exclusive liveries I'm fine with, as long as I can drive the same car with a different livery (e.g the Stealth cars). Totally exclusive cars though, no.

Red, Green & Blue is not a country

💡 Silly me...

Ok guys lets talk about more ideas in a list sort-of way so it is easyer for Earth (The Lister of this Thread) Back to the topic!

GAMEPLAY - Online

Ability to be a passenger only in free-ride. Disabled when in qualifying & races.

GAMEPLAY - Replay

A passenger camera.

Ability to turn off the ability to start races in a free tun lobby.
I didn't join "COPS 75MPH" to race at Cote D'Azure.

Some I have added

  • Grid atmosphere changes depending on location. People on Japanese track grids wear yukatas etc, whereas people on Middle Eastern track grids wear turbans and bisht. You might see the pope in Rome.
  • Ambient and track tempature in HUD
  • Grill Tape
  • Wedge Adjustment for NASCAR
  • Wildlife such as deer and birds behind track barrier on closed courses and sometimes on the track in rally courses or open roads.
  • Ability to view cars in detail before purchasing, ex opening doors, hoods, inspecting for flood or hail damage etc
  • wind

btw it isn't added in the OP but I posted it already: remove gt auto, add painting, race mod, etc. to the regular tuning menu.
And even though it is on the list already, completely wipe out engine and chassis restoration.

But GT-Auto has been in all of the Gran Turismo games! Its essential to Gran Turismo!

no need to have 2 separate menus. I already explained on that post (think it's on the second page) that menu in gt5 (or rather current games) is the worst thing ever conceived, and how engine/chassis restoration comes second.

Career Mode. A real, honest career mode with a cast of AI players that have distinct personalities. Advancing through the amateur divisions. Meaningful choices like getting offers from different teams and having to decide who to drive for. Struggling to get sponsorship. Basically being a racing career simulator, and not just a driving simulator.

Adjustable difficulty levels so you can decide if you want easy and casual, or hardcore.

Online seasonals, like prologue had.

Face it, Polyphony will never ditch GT-Auto thankfully.

1280x1080 is 1080p, and it is also native 1080p, because there actually are 1080 horizontal progressive lines being drawn.
The fact that there is 1280 vertical lines does not change the fact it is native 1080p.

What the.... No 1280x1080 is far away from true nativ 1080p.

Don't know if some of this stuff has been brought up, but here's a few things I would like to see in GT6:

-More tracks. I miss Midfield Raceway
-A more competitive A-Spec. If I remember right, GT2 did this the best. The races were actually relatively close when everything was HP limited. Or now, I guess it would be PP limited
-The ability to practice/work on specific sectors of a track. I've always wanted to be able to pick a track, set point A, then set point B, then practice a specific sector for a while. I know this kind of defeats the purpose of learning the whole track, but sometimes it's a bit frustrating to do a lap only to come up to a sector I struggle with to screw it up, then have to do a whole lap to get back to it again.
-Better replay functions. I'd like to see a better fast forward/rewind function, not to mention a little bit better method when doing photo mode. Perhaps a slow motion forward in order to properly pick a place to do a photo. I know typically the place where you pause a replay is not the same place it stops at when you enter photo mode.
-Better shadows and fewer "pop-ups." The pixelated shadows are extremely annoying, and noticing close range pop ups is also annoying. I especially like at Laguna Seca where the tents/garages on pit lane just appear out of nowhere when you're going down the straight.

Some of these are just cosmetic and just minor annoyances, and I'm sure I could think of a few more given some time, but it would be nice to see some of these things get better and/or get fixed.

Except 'tradition' list me the positives of GT Auto over a quick, one button option in the garage. The wings can be added to the parts menu and RM would be scrapped if they had a livery editor or if not can also go into the parts menu.

RM = Livery ??? :odd: That's what I got out of what you said.

With a livery editor and better mechanical upgrade options why would you need an RM system? You can create whatever race car you want, you don't need the limitations of PD.

@SimonK: That is true, but you only mentioned the livery bit. Some of the already existing tuning parts should do similar things anyways.

Mainly because TMK the RM cars are upgraded beyond the capability to upgrade them yourself.

And a livery editor and better tuning adds far more options for the gamer than the RM system ever could. Only problem is the inferior view.

And RM aren't available for every car. 17 cars.

I don't see a reason why GT can't offer all 3 features.

- livery editor
- some RM editions
- much better tuning options

TMK? That's why I also mentioned improved tuning capabilities. Anyway this is diverting from original question, even if the RM system was kept it could be moved somewhere else.

So again, except 'tradition' list me the positives of GT Auto over a quick, one button option in the garage (This is an open question BTW).

Maybye the oil could have a GT-Auto brand?
