Things You Want To See In GT6 Besides Vehicles and Tracks

Oh that's it! There is one thing that annoys me about GT5 that I want PD to improve in GT6. Fix the search options for online servers. Seriously, have an option to show lobbies that people on my friend list are in at least.

 :P

I know why you're saying this.

I want customizable camera view inside the cockpit, and i would like more fluid movement of the camera on the 3rd person view, its so stuck to the car it doesnt feel right. in that point nfs does well, it naturally moves with the car and you can feel the speed, and i would like more wide range of customizing, like we can really drop the car, change turbos that actually make the cars different, alot more exhausts, you know whats.
engine sounds, even nfs world a free to play game has better sounds than gt5 does, hopefully the sounds they are working on right now that should come out in a later update will be good (fingers crossed)

When looking from left to right in the cockpit, and the player lets go of the camera controls, the camera should flow back, not SNAP back to position.

You say what understand me no

I understand you clearly, I don't understand why someone would want to bring something from one game to another. Seeing NFS type of styling or tuning in GT6 is pointless. I see enough RICER stuff from people in my area, don't want to see it in a game.

I for one want the paint chip system to be expanded. This would work in conjunction with the livery editor if we ever get one.

Saving liveries to a paint chip and then being able to send them would be a nice option in my opinion :D

Have the ability to colour machines through a paint wheel instead of the old method of collecting chips, and have the liveries created through the editor be saved as chips instead.

Aside from being able to add a livery on a car, they should also add an option to remove a permanent livery from a race car or a rally car and allow them to be painted in one color.

Sadly, it isn't, even through hybridding for some cars.

I get that, but wouldn't a bare RM'd Type RZ be sort of the same (in idea at least) as a bare Castrol Supra?

I want to have the ability to "dump" vehicle telemetry to a USB stick so that I can import it into Motec Interpreter on my laptop. The in-game data logger is useless in it's current state. Since the game already collects data during practice it would be great if that data could be exported to an external drive and used in a real world data logger/data analysis tool.

Motec Interpreter software is a free download. The only thing Polyphony might need to do is a license agreement with Motec to ensure that they can dump the data in the appropriate format. I don't think this is would be a big deal.

Anyone that has played GTR and GTR2 by SimBin on the PC is already familiar with this ability as both of those games supported exactly this type of feature. This also tells me that Motec would be open to the idea.

While Gran Turismo has always been mostly about the racing, there is a large percentage of players that are just as interested in the tuning aspects of the game. This type of feature would add an additional layer of realism.

How about a actual dirt road course or track. The GT5 dirt tracks aren't dirt they are sand and gravel no mud no clay no gumbo dirt and if any of you are from the south like I am then you know about Gumbo dirt lol. Also I always thought a trophy truck class would be cool on Gran Turismo maybe even winged sprint cars, late models, open wheel modified's.

God you can tell I'm a redneck lmao

i'd really like to change the entire appearance of a car by using windshield stickers that we could customize (for example writing ktzracing to show than it's your car or things like that) and other identic things.
Btw, some days ago i had a brilliant idea : we should be able to make online garages ; not like in GT5 but something different, i explain. I guess than most of GT players are making tunes on their own cars, etc. The thing would be to open your own garage online which you'll name like you want to, and selling your tunes (for GT credits ofc, you'll chose the price too ofc :D) than you'll rename too. That'd be fantastic.

A needless one; if a proper livery editor were included, we could just send/sell the liveries, not "chips". Especially as a livery "chip" could never work properly if you're planning on it being applicable to different cars; something I paint up on, say, the Tank Car, won't transfer well at all to a Civic.

It shouldn't be applicable to every machine. As you mentioned, you can't have a Tank Car livery on a Civic. That's why each machine can have separate liveries made for them, which are only applicable to the machine it was made on. These can be selectable from the GT Life vehicle selection screen.

For example:

I can have a max of 10 or so liveries for the Lexus LFA saved at one time. I'm able to select a livery I want to use out of the 10 I have for the machine I selected.
