Things You Want To See In GT6 Besides Vehicles and Tracks

I still would like a New Game + mode for A-Spec. After completing all events besides Endurances the option to restart A-Spec is given. The difficulty and payouts would be increased, races longer, and permanent mechanical damage used. If weather isn't in the majority of races that could be implemented as well.

+1 👍

Would be like "prestige" rounds in COD. Perhaps Endurance races could be a different category (i.e. C-Spec), and it could have permanent mechanical damage/more frequent weather change in the second round, etc

I would personally like to see the PP limitations set for every race just like with Seasonals. Make playing the game a bit more of a challenge and a whole lot better of an experience. I honestly wish I know what PP the races in GT5's career mode where cause I eould honestly restart my game and play it the right way. PP limit, no TCS, Sports Soft Tires, etc etc.

Multi-class endurance races. There would be at least two classes with different PP ranges. You could then enter in any category, and the prizes would reflect the position within your category.

I think this could be done!

That would be awesome.

I think the next step in online gameplay is a seamless or blurred line between offline and online.

I'd like to have random online drivers appear as opponents in normally offline career mode events, mixed in with the AI drivers. This could be a feature you could turn on or off.

I would actually like a Event Generator type of mode like the one in GT2. That is if they do it properly and keep it challenging. The higher the difficulty: the tougher the opponents (the more aggressive they drive), the more laps on a track, & the more money you could earn. It could be helpful and fun for offline users & great for building up cash if you're intending on collecting a lot of the cars.

👍 👍 👍

There are countless times where I've crashed because of a floating name tag. Sometimes I'm racing and I'm trying to figure out what the hell his/her tag says.

We really need that option. It shouldn't be that hard to implement.

Agreed. Spotting the braking points for the first chicane on Mulsanne Straight in particular was a nightmare with a full grid of cars in front.

I realized this last night when editing a shot I took from Photomode. I edit my photos and try to be as accurate as I can when doing historic races, but it really bothers me seeing a wonderful vintage racing car with a driver using modern helmet/racing suit. I end up editing out some of it but it still looks wrong. That said, I would like vintage racing clothing and helmets. PD, include it in GT6 or prepare another Racing Gear DLC.

As has been mentioned, Qualifying option online and offline. Headlights should have "Off/Parking/Low beam/High beam". Also, if you notice in the demo that plays Top Gear, the Aston Martin has its signals flashing. I think that was a possible feature not implemented.

Things I would like to see:

Qualification and Test Run mode prior to race itself
Qualification would consist 3 laps along with initiative warm-up lap around track while on Test Run mode you would be able to run countless laps to test your setups and tire wear along with other AI drivers. GT1 had similar approach so it's kinda silly that after 5 installments in series you get either one or another mode.

Multiple car prizes per race event depend on car which was used for event completion
This trick would encourage drivers to win different (more valuable) cars only by competing with prescribed models instead firmly sticking to fastest. Let's take Kei Car Challenge for example:

Main prize: Daihatsu Copen
Special Prize: MazdaSpeed AZ-1
Requirements for Special Prize: Complete event with either FF or 4WD Kei car.

As you can see in this example, if you want to drive AZ-1 you need to scrap your beloved Capuccino and pick something from FF squad, like Mira or Move. Smart way to extend career progress and add extra challenge.

Ability to choose between dynamic (GT1/2/3) or static (GT4/5) third person camera

Permanently removed B-Spec mode

Family Cup mode with ability to setup all possible parameters
This involves tire wear, laps, AI cars, assists...; it could also exchange arcade mode.

Cars should show "pp" online. This way if if the room is 450pp, you can see who may be exact and those cars that are lower. It also helps in a mixed room of road and race cars. Some race cars are slower than road cars at the same pp even if a race car has F/R downforce.

Would like to see optional qualifying and free practice in A-spec: if I qualify good enough, let me start from a position < the last. If I skip qualifying or fail, GT6 will behave as GT5. That's it.

This might be a bit offtopic but....

Driveclub graphics...So i could change this into, i want GT to look as good as DC is looking now.

i would like have more aero parts that not only that look good, but also increase your aerodynamics needs eg: some body kits reduces drag but wont have as much down force but are good for tracks like test course and such. and on the other side others that generates greater down force that are good for normal circuit racing.
body kits doesn't need to be real brand. they can do it because pd has proven they can do a lot of stuff with gt physics engine and they created the x2010 so create aero parts shouldn't be an issue. remember besides a car being cool, it must have some iconic status if they do it right people will like those parts and do cosplay with their cars and reach iconic status like say the rx7 from toklyo drift.
noob request (please don't hate me :) ) i would like that the game money rewards were higher specially in the professional events and extreme events. i like to use every car in the game. with my skill level, it would take much more time than any other guy on this page to unlock every car on the game specially that gamesharks are as good as bringing a firearm to an elementary school. last but not least, Dear kaz. eliminate the pointless 20m cr cap that works as a buy this car and you'll be broke. that is gt's worst feature.
thank you for reading.

Pretty sure this has already been asked, but I want realistic engine noise...
I spend a great deal of my leisure time wandering on the Paul Ricard race track and I can assure you that GT5 engine noises are very far from reality.

To me Drive Club looks quite realistic...shame that the game is arcade mostly.

Gran Turismo can´t look like that in the PS3 because of the hardware and yet PD managed to make the game look as realistic as possible even with tons of technical issues. (low resolutions textures in the environment, low poly count in characters like pit crew and details, shadows, 2D trees...etc)

Now imagine what they could do with the better machine that the PS4 is...Drive Club looks incredible now but GT7 probably is going to use not only the same resources but new things like DX11 details (for example you can give textures the proper material characteristics so when you see metal it will actually looks like metal, plastic, leather, etc will look more realistic and not by using some "tricks" by PD with great colour palette and adding massive details into them...which still will be applied of course).
Also check what Forza 5 is doing, how wheels look, reflections in the glass/windshield, environment reflections of light inside the car and more stuff.

PD knows what they are doing when it comes to graphics...as other guy said, I hope that they make the engine sounds realistic because as far as graphics...we should not even doubt that when GT7 comes out, it will be the new benchmark as GT5 is/was.

Hello every one,

It is about time to return to the GT Series have been playing since GT1.

I did finally break down and purchase x-box 360 and Forza 4 last Thanksgiving and have spent majority of that time playing it. It is a great game, however is not GT. My Forza disc is scratched now and do not really see the need to replace it with GT6 just over a month away. One of the main reason I wanted to try out Forza was the wider selection of american cars and the livery editor. I also lost enjoyment over the fact that so many cars have such a high dollar value compared to your winnings. The online seasonal events help a great deal, but lets be real for someone that might only play a few hours a week it takes a long time to earn enough credits for the high end cars.

GT5 is a great game also and could easily of been so much better without that much effort in my opinion. There are so many little things that really make you scratch your head. The terrible paint chip system which looks like it will be returning. I do not like it one bit, but can live with it, however please let us preview the paint applied to the car before we purchase - geeze. What in the world is up with the wheel selections and graphics at that screen, the graphics on that screen look like GT1 or at least GT2. Those are very minor details in respect to all the things that could relative easily be implemented. Everyone complains about the A.I., well I think the "B" - spec drivers to a really good job once they are leveled up even without you baby setting them. I would say apply whatever coding was given to the "B"-spec drivers to the A.I. and I am sure the A.I. would then be better.

More to come in the days ahead.

It really and truly would not take much to make a good game and amazing game.

I don´t know if it has been said before but I would like following idea:
Generally it´s the Engine-swap idea but I call it create Engine.

Basically you go to GT-Auto and to the "Create Engine" part.
There you insert a few parameters (Size, peak-RPM, N/A // TC // SC, max.-power [realistic numbers though], and a few other ones) and you get the Engine which you can put into a Car of your liking.
Respectivly have it to be used multiple times.

=> You could share your motor to create your own Racing-series with all having the same Motor and they can choose their Chassis without having a bigger capacity or more Torque etc.

(would be cool to recreate the F1 engines for next Year 1.6l 4 cylinder with 600+ (I think) bhp :D)

I would like to have: 1. Rolling starts for online races or pace lap. 2. Cheaters banned from TT. 3. Road Atlanta. 4. Drag strip. 5. Qualifying for offline and seasonal races.

I'd like to have the option as host in an Open Lobby, to have my own garage available for use by the other players, including Spec Racing. In other words, I've got a couple of kick arse tunes, so I make 2 cars available for racing, pick either one. Or 1 car or 3 or 4 or whatever. In Series racing, it would eliminate the need for HP/PP/Weight etc. checks in spec racing series.

Totally agree! thats one thing I've missed that GT really should have.
