You're sorta right. I wanted to expand on something that was terrible in GT5 and make it better, I ended up getting rid of it altogetherSo then there'd be no use for the silly chip system, would there?. That was more or less my point - and hope, really.
Oh well, guess that's how people get rid of previously terrible ideas....

Hmmm... If Kaz does this, I say that he'll go back to the concept of GT2. I actually like GT2's wheel selection over GT5's.

GT2's selection was like GT3 and GT4's wheel selection. He says that thousands of those will be in GT6.
My best guess is that he'll patch them in

Great. Something that I may miss. 
Considering I've never played GT4, I may have not seen a lot of wheels to choose from.

It's always worn Black wheels, and the Phantom II shall wear black wheels as well.
I'd like to see aero parts for precisely the machine I'm talking about. And more tuning options for all machines.

I quite like the paint chip system... Its alot more rewarding and... I dunno... Like a collection and its a very nice feeling when you put the right paint chip on the right car.
I just like it. They should keep it.
I also think that they should categorise from what model cars they come from.
That would be helpful.

When seeing an online players name on track or in the room players list. If they are using a wheel they should have a little wheel icon beside their name.
It would be a great touch! Here is an example:

I think the two things that I would really like to see BACK are the soundtracks from GT2,3 and qualifying. Especially the music itself in the music video from GT2.

I still would like a New Game + mode for A-Spec. After completing all events besides Endurances the option to restart A-Spec is given. The difficulty and payouts would be increased, races longer, and permanent mechanical damage used. If weather isn't in the majority of races that could be implemented as well.

we should be able to make online garages ; not like in GT5 but something different, i explain. I guess than most of GT players are making tunes on their own cars, etc. The thing would be to open your own garage online which you'll name like you want to, and selling your tunes (for GT credits ofc, you'll chose the price too ofc [which will be limited to three times the price of the base car {modifications included} ] ) than you'll rename too. That'd be fantastic.

On one condition only. That we are able to toggle the names on and off before we hit the track. I don't want to see the names to begin with, they get in the way sometimes and when I'm trying to immerse myself in the game online, having someone's name floating around above their car doesn't help. So long as that is possible, go for it. If not, no, there is enough clutter already with just the name floating around.

There are countless times where I've crashed because of a floating name tag. Sometimes I'm racing and I'm trying to figure out what the hell his/her tag says.
We really need that option. It shouldn't be that hard to implement.

Ability to turn on and off Daytime running lights and lights no matter what time, ability to turn off Windshield wipers and more realistic rain. Reflective tracks when wet. I especially want the daytime running lights because you know how cool Audi LEDs are XD
