This car was the fastest car when it came out:

Is that car a supercar?

I did not say it was a supercar. But the 300SL was a supercar as it was the fastest road car in the 50's.

Yes. That's the history of every car ever made; that's the Bugatti Veyron of history. In fact, that car survived two World Wars, and even the Boer War. Think about how old; and therefore AWESOME, it is.

Stop arguing. Start laughing at the Cadillac fanboy who decided to troll the Wikipedia article with false and misleading information.

Stop arguing about whether or not the world's first supercar (in the true sense of the word) was the 300SL. There's a reason that Mercedes is STILL living up the praise it got back then, with the SLS AMG. If you deny that the 300SL was a supercar, you're denying every car that came after it. Mercedes is always a step ahead, when it comes to cars.

The first supercar was not the 300SL but the 300SL was the first car to have ABS

300SL was a sportscar. The first supercar is generally considered to be the GT40.

Now I would agree, the GT40 and the Muira are generally commended as the first true supercars. However back in its day I expect the 300SL was considered one, 140mph was unheard of back then in roadcars!

It's a marketing term anyway. It is not like rock didn't exist before some dj invented the word.

But in purely performance terms, it was so much better than the rest in its time that it could be called a super car.

That I agree with. Whilst the 300SL might have been considered a supercar in its day, by today's standards it's like saying an Infiniti G37 is a supercar.

A Infiniti that will be smoked by a Golf in 25 years.

Exactly my point. If all of a sudden in 1954 a man appeared with a 2013 Infiniti G37x, they would call it a supercar because that is what they had back then. In 58 years, the Veyron SS will most likely seem like an econobox.

But the Veyron SS will still be considered an hyper car and the fastest of its time, a revolutionary vehicle that created a new term (hyper) and all that....just like the 300sl.

I'm sure others have mentioned option to remove wheel in interior view.

An option to lock the camera 100% in place in interior view for those driving with wheels up close to the screen. So the car window/frame etc stay 100% in place relative to the tv bezel and in turn to the wheel, it's the view out or environment that should shake and vibrate. Would that make sense or would it have an adverse effect?

In this video you notice the car bouncing etc, he even crashes between the 4-5 minute mark. It gives the impression the wheel is not attached to the car.

The chance to change the rims for other cars standard rims. As in GT4

Why not do it like GT3? You buy a rim, and then you can put that rim on every car you own. It may not be realistic, but almost every car in my garage that was a switch on it (that can change rims) has Rays Volk TE37 rims in white, and I can't imagine how much that has cost me. At least 40,000Cr.

SO, run a Seasonal Event. 👎

No damage system whatsoever, it's a waste of resources that could be spent elsewhere.

I can't understand this. Do you play Sport games without tackle? I doubt that. It is a part from racing and can influence your decision if you're in a race.

I racing game without a damage model isn't a simulation in my opinion. Mechanical damage is important and visual is an extra.

No sarcasm mate. You never wondered what that "suspend" optin did?

No I know about the suspend option, It's the just first I heard that you can choose not to pick the race up when you turn the game back on and do other things but then continue it by going to the race in the list.

Good old GT4 days, but I forgot if it was possible in the previous GTs too.

I just recently bought the console and GT5 and I'm almost 25th level, so soon I will be able to play through endurance races so I then I will know if this option works. Before that I was playing GT4 on PCSX2 and there wasn't such an option like suspend race or something like that, it was only possible during series, not during the race...
Or if it is possible, then tell me how.

In GT4 you could stop the race and have B-Spec Billy drive your car while you take a break.

In GT6 I would like....
- More Cars to have Racing Modifications, I'm glad they brought it back in GT5, but I wish there was more racing models for the prenium models.
- The storefront system in the Forza games is pretty cool, it would be great if PD could have a similiar system in GT6.
- More aerokit options for more cars.
- Engine Swaps & Drivetrain Swaps.
