Things You Want To See In GT6 Besides Vehicles and Tracks

Having a racing team?

Haha, my tuning garage received a request for sponsorship. We're keeping an eye on the driver. If he continues to get Top 5 finishes, he'll get some bootleg tunes that are too fast to give to the opposition.

I mean, that would be so easy to implement (like, a team that you have to satisfy...)

I should be the minority, but for pad players it must have more controller settings...
I normally use it on 4, wich is nice for steering, but not good for gas/brake....Wish could set different numbers for each...

Yes. And those rows of cars. You'll see what I mean when you go to indy road course on he 2nd streight.

If you go to Fuji, there is a parking lot with a lot of cars parked on it.

All they need to do is create something like the F1 series...
Note that the only F1 game I have played is F1 2012 Demo, so I don't really know much about it.

You can map each button separately. If that's not what you mean than I am lost.

I'm sure it's already been said but I'd like them to create an online track that expands on tokyo R246 and makes in an open world limited to 10 people per room with ai traffic and a few ai in modded vehicles that kinda try to keep up with u if u pass them, not a cop but basically another random racer encounter. A lil smarter than the ones u'd see in midnight club. Also want a much wider wheel selection. Much wider bodykit selection atleast a basic lip kit for most vehicles. Livery editor.

Tracks are an important part of a simulator and as such. They've done a great job with some tracks others leave much to be desired. There is no reason there can't be better animated spectators as well as foliage around the track.

Cars need better damage but that will never happen because auto companies are against it I believe. If not then idk why the damage in gt5 doesn't look better than play-doh smudges.

Another thing I wish to see return is realistic power levels for all the vehicles. From kei cars on up to muscle cars we live in a day and age where everything can make way more power than they make in GT5. Especially for how much it cost to build the car with credits in gt5 the power levels they achieve should be beliveable. In real lifee people are turbocharging motorcycles and making 700hp. Why do fully built kei cars, which are cars with a motorcycle engine when u break it down, only able to get 150hp if they're lucky. Those crazy high power levels if bought back for the cars in gt6 will really seperate the boys from the men in all aspects of the game. People will realize how bad it is to build something with too much power if they can't ever control it without detuning it. This goes from circuit to drag. Which leads me to my last thing for now.

A drag strip. We need one online badly. For the US anyway.

Wow there are a lot listed. I looked through the list and didn't quite see this.

One thing I'd like to see changed in the gran turismo series in general is how the a-spec 'career mode' is always pushing me into faster cars in order to progress.

I'd like to be able to stay in Kei cars, or GT300 cars (or whatever) for a career, racing in new and increasingly difficult races until I'm, for example, the 35-time kei world champion.

It'd probably be easier to break it down by pp rather than the above classes, but generally I down't want to be pushed out of cars in my comfort zone, and would rather have the game build harder races for me in *all* the locales, and granting me appropriate prizes, for as long as I still want to drive that car.

I don't mind faster car classes being unlocked over time, but I don't want to have to abandon my cappuccino (in career mode) after the three *dead easiest* races in the game.

This would be interesting. On warm days, my all-seasons (on the Hyundai) suffer.

But, on typical days in and around Parry Sound, ( you northerner) my all-seasons did quite well. ;)

Thats the second time I've been called that o.O. Not THAT far north you silly city folk :P.

Didn't see this on the list.

Cars with vents that open and close needs to have that function implemented. For example, the Lamborghinis Aventador's and Murcielago's vents.

Yes!

I haven't been on the forums in a long time, Good to see you all.. I skimmed through the OP and didn't see these (but I could've missed them)

  • A "color wheel" to paint your car with instead of unlocking paint chips. All the colors should already be unlocked and be able to be applied to any car.
  • Better online server: There is nothing more aggravating than waiting for GT5 to connect to the internet for 10+ minutes just to be sent back to the main screen.
  • More search options in the online portion. For example, give me the option to search for shuffle rooms, dirty rooms, clean rooms, # of players etc.
  • More wheels/ overall visual customization with cars.
  • No level cap on cars. Let me buy whatever car I want if I have the credits.

Guys, how about unlocking paint types as we progress through the game? We'd only have Gloss or Metallic at the start etc.

gamerdog6482
They did that in Shift 2 and it was terrible. I REALLY hope that doesn't happen in GT6.

I hope every vehicle, tuning part, mod, paint, etc. is available to purchase unlimitedly. Whether you can buy a certain car/item, depends on your wealth.

What about being able to roll down windows while in cockpit view or changing radio station? They did that in testdrive:unlimited for PS2.

Bah. Further. Far enough. It's about an eight-twelve hour drive, I think.

But, cars with active aero still aren't as awesome, yet. The Aventador needs the vents to cool... the aerodynamics aren't as good as the aerodynamics on other cars (like the Ascari A10/KZ1)

-I agree with all of these, but, especially this one. After buying the Toyota GT-86 G-Sports concept, for the paints few times, I'm sick of paying 500,000 for a paint I could get in real life $2000.

I totally agree and also I'd like to search by car class. It is annoying to have to search through the numerous lobbies just to find a good Ferrari F1 room.

I'd like to make a suggestion. PD needs to drop the super dark garage scene and go with something a little brighter. The car selection screen in Arcade mode is much nicer to look at than the super dark garage. :indiff:

A simplistic way to make the game feel more welcoming and homely. I fully approve. Considering that it was modeled in for Arcade mode, it shouldn't even be hard to re-make the shadows/reflections.

So basically, more category options for lobbies.

I want debris to stick to your car and have a fan based DLC pack where we can choose what cars we want

I like that idea, but I want to build on that.
I like the idea of hooning around in old, beat up cars that are about to fall apart. In GT5, that isn't possible, as damage resets after you finish the race or leave the track. I'd like to at least see a little option for each car to keep the existing damage, that way, I can actually have an old beater to hoon around in from time to time. :dopey:

Apologies if this has already been suggested.

Some other games have a mixture of AI and real competitors so that you get a full grid. I would like to have the option to fill the rest of the grid with AI cars. I have recently started doing private lounge races with a couple of close friends - filling the remaining slots would greatly increase the enjoyment.

Maybe have a body shop for the cars?
