But in all seriousness.....take a pic with a digital camera, upload it to your pc, then upload it photobucket or imageshack, then cut and paste the URL in the reply window.

gtfan007, did you read and follow all of the rules in Post #1?

Nice work, Shadow, just watch you don't stray too close to the Viper record - or Viperpilot might bite your hand off ;)

Welcome to the Club, dimplz, can we expect an improvement to that speed?
A pool in Australia, hmm... Alright for some, eh?

Hey DE or anyone that can help,
My memory card is saying the game save is corupt...can it be fixed...if not my 2 years playing is lost.

had a go in the buick special... got to 262mph which is ok considering its from 1962 however i dont think that its capable of 300Mph reason being it doesnt seem to have enough torque (especially at higher revs) to get it much over 260 even with nos

sadly still no improvement on the Gillet looks like the record is safe for now...

To Dimplz good luck with the Gillet 👍 i've been trying to beat the record for ages  its driving me maaaaaaad  :grumpy:

after about 6 months IM BACK finaly got back to 20% !!YAY!! :dopey: NEWS FOR NEWBIES the nissan Silvia S13 is a good car to start with if you think your a good driver :) around 500BHP when tuned to the max.

Just managed to get some free time for GT and squeezed a bit more speed out of my Skyline:

Nissan Skyline GT-R V-spec II Nur - 342.88mph [Vid to come in the morning]

Hopefully the minor lessons learnt this time around can be applied to my ZZII.

Finally, congratulations to Dimplz and Shadow on your speeds 👍

The fastest I can get with the 88C-V is 286.53MPH. I don't find anything that Im doing wrong..
Funnily enough, I do.. ;)

Nice work, Pyrelli, and good luck with your ZZ-II as well 👍

Great skyline speed Pyrelli that's faster than I can get my ZZII up to right now. Seem to be topping out around 325 in it.

That seems kind of like a regular minolta top speed. You have to do more than just set the auto setting to 25.

Cheers, and as for the ZZII/Skyline just keep on pushing it - I'm almost under the impression that high speeds with these cars are just pure luck ;)

D.E I noticed that my speed didn't get put up on the leaderboard so I've assumed it's because you want to see some verification:

Nissan Skyline GT-R V-spec II Nur @ 342.88mph [YouTube Video]

Also a verification video showing a moment where it could appear that the car hits a side wall and shots of the wheels at 342mph.

Nah, I wasn't really waiting for it, I just forgot because I didn't do it at that time, because of the note saying to expect a video... If that makes any sense.

But, once again, nice work 👍

Thanks for pointing out that little issue with the backup Leaderboard, it seems to have de-tabled itself... I must admit, I have no idea why, but it makes me trust Bravenet even less than before. I'll get that sorted, and update the main Leaderboard too. :)

EDIT - Ahh, I think I might have managed to do that myself by accidentally removing the table headers when pasting the table from the main page onto the backup one. The lesson to be learnt from that is to copy the whole table, including the headers

Ah, I see - my bad, I only really intended to put the video up for others to use as reference (f1 style, looking at what the others are doing etc), not strictly for verification if you get what I mean. It just happened to take me ages and there's no excuse for that really, just being me :P

Theres a little luck involved due to the nature of 'power shakes', but I can get a good run more often than not. As an example, I probably probably pulled around 30-40 runs over 370mph in the session when I finally broke 380. With the Skyline, things are even more consistent. :)

You're slowly getting there though, and behind myself and I-Runner you're certainly the quickest 4WD tuner around. I get the feeling that there's maybe one or two tricks you're missing on the setup which myself and I-Runner use on ours. I don't know if you still keep your setup up to date on GTVault, but if you do, I'll take a look at some time and see if I can spot anything; the difference between 350mph and 370 can be as little as 1kg/mm spring stiffness.

Anyway, congrats on the further improvements to your speed. I guess that sometime I'll try for 350mph in the Skyline, though that will certainly be difficult to achieve.

Good luck! 👍

MS, cheers for the insight 👍 and yea I would normally update the GtVault setups but its been playing around with me recently telling me that my setups can't be found

But Kerr (the owner of GtVault) is usually pretty quick with remedies so I guess it might be time to update it.

Since I haven't touched my ZZII setup, and probably can't for a very long time, I'm thinking of sticking that up on there as well to see if anyone else wants to take on developing it - I'm quite familiar with the other ZZII setups already there and they're are nothing like mine (note that I did mine first before stumbling on the site).

As for a 350mph Skyline, well it's inevitable given the likes of yourself and I-R. Best of luck to the both of you on that one ;)

I did some experimenting with ballast and I think I know what I'm trying to do - only problem is the car doesn't exactly always want to dance making decisions hard. But I've still got a few days left before I start uni, I guess there's no excuse not to give the cars another go.

Pyrelli

I agree with MS , i made 500-600 km of Trials before to
get the right setup ...

and many times i had to restart the launch !

Pyrelli Congrats for the speed from me also :)

i've watched your video and for me (IMHO) is regolar 👍

---------------------------

In this period i cant make any video , at the same time i haven't
any interesting new speed .. MS is not too far but at this level
is difficult ..to go faster :scared:

Ciao
I-Runner

The video problem is part of the reason why I probably won't be making any significant speeds, if any, for a while - and it doesn't help that my method is pretty peculiar compared to the norm.

I also second the comments about the distance of testing, and although my results haven't been quite so spectacular, the ZZII has been particularly expensive (My first one started permanently losing power after just 500 miles).

Pyrelli

Edit: Setups for both the Skyline and McLaren F1 have been updated over on GtVault

Dont you hate it when you come so close and then you dont get it?
287.39 mph in the RX-7 :grumpy: its so annoying! :banghead:

i know your feeling! tried to get my M3 to 300 but failed but 10 km/h arrrrgh:grumpy::mad::banghead:🤬 im not the most expierienced at the game either so dont tease me if 300mph is a sinch for a m3 lol
