The Rac3rX Section - Advanced Rules
- 6. Whether a car is catagorised as road or racing class is usually very clear, however in some situations it is not. My decision is final when there is doubt on this...
Let's correct that by saying that the ZZ-II comes with adjustable parts, which GT4 catagorises as 'racing' equipment. The ZZ-II was a road-going car, with parts taken from a GT-R Skyline, which is also a road-going car. It wasn't designed for racing. In my opinion, this makes it a road car, but if any more arguments are forthcoming, I'll happily consider them. I don't want anything incorrect coming through the Club, hence the strict verification rules, and I won't compromise that just to save face. If it turns out I'm wrong, I'll change whatever needs to be changedZZII comes with racing parts therefore it is a racing car according to the game(tranny, brakes, suspension, exhaust)=n ot road car
I'm sorry to burst YOUR bubble, but TK ZZ-II is actually a concept car that never saw production.
Mazda RX-8 Concept LM Race Car
Mercedes CLK Touring Car
Nissan Motul Pitwork Z (JGTC)
Subaru Impreza Rally Car
VW New Beetle Cup Car
The cars above come equipt with Racing tyres, thus are race cars.
The cars below come with Sports tyres, so should be considered Sports (road) cars.
Audi Nuvolari Quattro
BMW M3 GTR
Buick Special
Tommy Kaira ZZII
TVR Cerbera Speed 12
Interestingly, the Gran Turismo Skyline GT-R looks race ready with its sponsor decals, but as it comes with Sports tyres I'd consider it an overly decorated (Tuner) road car.
ASL RS-01?
I made my cien go 290
Unless, of course, your speedo is being nice and rounding 299.5mph upwardscrimsonAs soon as you see a '3' in that first digit there, follow all the rules in post #1 and you're in.
