Hi.My wheel is up to date on drivers but The last few times ive played project cars, after 5 minutes, when i make a sharp turn my wheel is making a loud buzzing sound. It carries on when the wheel is levelled out. It sounds like the motor is spinning or theres lots of power still going through it.I have to switch everything off then on again then its ok. Is anybody else having this issue ? Cheers

Sounds like either a bad fan making a horrendous noise or a bad power supply to me. Not good.

Try again.Need help on my T300RS.Cant get green light on the mode button.Works fine in normal mode, but not when you inverted the pedals in to GT style.Latest firmware. Any tip or help.

No clue...supposed to pick that up automatically

I'm sure most people don't have problems with their T300's but I'm planning in possibly getting one and I'm seeing mainly people having issues, is this wheel really that unreliable? Or is it just bad luck for those who're having issues.
I'm coming from a DFGT which after about 4 years has only had one issue which is an odd break issue.

I think tm has the bugs worked out..i love mine and sure you will too..get t3pa or pro to go with it as stock pedals suck

If I loved a DFGT I definitely will love it! I'm gonna go a bit before I get the T3PA pedals but either way going from the DFGT's pedals to stock T300RS will still be an upgrade haha

Ordered mine Sunday, it should be here tomorrow. So pumped. :D

Tell us how it goes, what was your previous wheel?

Really annoyed at the moment. My second T300 replacement broke last month so I sent it off to TM to get a replacement (as an RMA procedure) two weeks ago. Had not heard anything from them about receiving it. Then yesterday, I received a package from TM - I thought it was a bit odd as they had not told me anything about sending a replacement. The package was severely ripped apart, holes all over the place, and lifted the package inside to find THEY HAD RESENT MY BROKEN WHEEL. Then I thought maybe they had repaired the same one, but found out very quickly that the wheel base had huge cracks on it and there was rattling coming from the inside. Really confused as to why they would resend my old one when they knew full well that I was expecting it to be repaired/replaced (preferably the latter). Sent them an email with the pics of the broken base and poor packaging and outlined my anger. :banghead::banghead: So basically I have waited two weeks for nothing. Currently waiting for a reply.

Ok guys quick question, do any of you know where I can buy new Torsion Springs for the T300 pedals?

Or if anyone has any idea on upgrading them for something else your wide knowledge would be a great help.

P.S. I've googled and been to local hardware stores but no dice.

Oh my.

I'd be furious if this happened to me. 👎
If a vendor did that to me, I'd probably demand my money back and decide never ever to buy another product from them. Yes, it's an isolated incident, but it's beyond bad.

They are compression springs not torsion, yes?

It's the small Torsion springs that have gone not the bigger Compression springs.

Getting severe withdrawal symptoms not being able to play racing games for a couple of months lol:(. Especially when the latest PCars DLC and SLRE was released last week!! My rig is a very sad looking sight at the moment lol.

Hopefully the issue gets resolved and they send a replacement ASAP!!

JBF, sorry to hear your TM horror story, I wish they resolve it quickly. My new T300 is running fine, but I'm keeping my DFGT as a backup after reading about all these failures... still... :(

Sorry for double post.

Just received an email from TM stating that they had replaced the fan in the original unit and sent it back, so the packaging was damaged in transit. Starting another RMA procedure. Fingers crossed!!!!!

Well then definitely say how it goes! because I will soon be making the upgrade from the DFGT, it'll be nice to not hear the screams from the wheel as you drive on the ragged edge.
You both should like the T300, I also went from a DFGT to the T300RS. I've had mine since August and so far it's been great, the smoother feedback from the wheel is a lot nicer than the DFGT wheel was. The pedals are a little better than the DFGT but not by much, the brake is stiffer but it has no progression. Eventually I am going to get the shifter and t3pa pro pedals to complete the package.

So to follow up on my previous post, I've received the wheel and am very pleased with it at the moment. It's extremely quiet, the force feedback is so much smoother, and the pedals are better. I do have T3PAs, but decided against using them at the moment as I don't have a TH8A to use with them. That will be a future addition though, so I can't wait. 👍

With the pedals by a "little better" are they really that bad for their price? From what I've heard it seems like they are just very similar only stiffer and a different material.

Here I was thinking the DFGT is amazing. I cannot wait to order my T300 it really sounds amazing except the price tag since it'll cost almost $100 AUD more than my 1tb PS4 :scared: but I'm sure it'll be worth it. For the sake of saving some money for a real car I'll eventually get better pedals.

They are better than the dfgt pedals with having a stiffer brake pedal, I can rest my left foot on the brake and it won't register. They do feel like they are better made than the dfgt pedals and also they can be mounted to a racing rig, you can also move the face plates of the pedals around as well if you want to.

My T300 was supossed to arrive in the next week, but the carnaval is now so will be a 5 days holliday now. Hopefully in the next friday my wheelgets in my home(and it don't breake again).

A friend of mine that have a F430 got this same spring broken in his wheel. Oh Thrstmaster, why you do this to us? T_T
