I'm sorry to hear that you've got problems @Cocomoto. :( I'm sorry but I can't offer you any advice other than what you have just been told (try contacting TM for help) as I don't have a T300. Thrustmaster really have got problems with this wheel, the amount of failures is disturbing and I'm glad that I didn't cave in and purchase one myself.

Do TM have their own forum?

Yes, it is. I can still play with the wheel but the FFB is not right.

I'll try to download a calibration tool, it can calibrate the wheel for a short period of time, hope it last at least while i'm playing, if i have to recalibrate everytime i turn on the wheel, i could live with that(but some people report to after 30min of playing the calibreation gets wiered again).

The Thrustmaster support here in Brazil does'nt exist. a fellow brazillian menber here in GTP had a problem with his T300, he sent the wheel to USA or Canada(not sure) he spent more in the shipping than with the wheel and they sent the wrong servo base...

There's a guy in São Paulo that used to work in TM support, I'mm trying to contact him, let's see.

Hey, just to let you know that I have finally got the wheelbase to me. This time TM paid shipping, I paid customs taxes and they reimbursed me through Paypal. Got the wheel on Oct 26th and it's working fine until now (although I won't set the FFB strenght past 6).

If you want to fix yours you can try to contact this guy: vladimirtecnico@yahoo.com.br he repaired some TM wheels here in Brazil. You can PM me if I can help you somehow!

Personally I wouldn't spend much more money on this, if my wheel break again I'll jump to a Logitec or Fanatec wheel.

Cheers!

Brunno, i'm glad to hear that!

I sent a email to TM yeasterday and they allready anwser(quick, good sign?). They are asking for the wheels invoice(that i don't have, bought with a guy who brought the wheel from USA) and a photo of the wheel's botton base sticker.

About vladimir, i allready talked to him and he said that the repair will cost something around R$200-800(U$ 50-200) plus shipping. I'm thinking if i send him the wheel, i just don't want to spend more money on with after a month or six, or 1 year only the wheel stops working properly again.

Thinking in selling my shiffter and pedals and buy a G29. I look to Fanatec and for God's sake! They are too expansive!! With real-dolar taxes so messy, i just don't worth it.

Would it be worthwhile getting the T300 repaired and then selling it as a fully working wheel? You may get back more money that way.

Well, i bought my wheel for R$ 2.300,00 (U$ 592). Now a new one cost R$ 3.400,00(U$ 876). My TH8A was R$ 800,00(U$ 206) now it cost R$ 1.600,00(U$ 412). My T500 pedals was R$ 450(U$ 115), now it cost R$ 1.000,00(U$ 257).

All those prices as new, but i can have all sold for a little less and have all my money back, maybe evenhave a little profit. But yes, it's sad, i really enjoy all those gears, it's a shame that happend. =[

I'll send my wheel to repair in the first days of the year(now the mail service is just a mess, better wait the hollidays end).

just managed to get a new t300rs for under £190 on amazon uk :)

now looking for the t3pa pro pedals for it, the only place available looks like the official
thrustmaster shop. on there says will be shipped in plain box (why not the normal box)

is it just the paranoid me thinking it will be one that has been sent back as faulty fixed then
available for sale again.

bought the pedals anyway and the th8a shifter aswell

Last day to to pick up at this price. That is until it pops up again. I can't buy right now but thought I'd share.

Edit: actually only a one day promo. Showed up earlier this week as a weekly promo.

Is there any way to use the DFGT pedals with the T300RS? I know there is an adapter for the G25/27 pedals, but I don't know whether it will work with DFGT as well.

Can someone please do me a favour and test whether their T300 with the TH8A shifter works with Daytona USA on the PS3, including being able to shift gears with TH8A. Thanks

I'm running dirt 3 on my ps3, so naturally I put my th8a in sequential mode, but it isn't working. Anyone know anything about that?

Thrustmaster's support site includes comprehensive lists of exactly which game works with the shifter and whether you can run it H or sequential:
http://ts.thrustmaster.com/eng/index.php?pg=view_files&gid=3&fid=15&pid=379&cid=12

Great thanks, but I was hoping someone can try it, with the T300 and Shifter. I don't think Thrustmaster would've included Daytona USA as it's not a disc based game only a download.
i.e. They don't list that the T500 works only with the wheel however no shifter, so I want to know if the T300 with shifter works.

Thanks.

There's also a tiny wire under the cover that is necessary for the sequential to function. It's very easy to break when removing the cover without even noticing. I broke mine, but I never use the sequential so I didn't bother fixing it.

IIRC on PS3 Daytona you can use the wheel with no FFB, just centering. Works great with a G27, but I sold my G27 when I got the T500. Not as impressive on the DFGT...

Also, if you are handy on PC, Model 2 Emu is really nice. I had Daytona all set up with my T500 and TH8 and it blew the PS4 version away.

Great thanks, I think you mean PS3..
Anyway I know all about the T500 capabilities with Daytona on PS3, I was after someone trying it with their T300 + H Shifter + pedals, seeing as their connection is different and Thrustmaster doesn't report any compatibility with Daytona USA..

Right, right. Corrected.

On PS3 the "TH8A plugged into T300" doesn't work at all, you still need to plug the TH8A straight into the PS3 with the USB plug for it to work.

Hi guys I recently got the t300rs and currently I have it clamped to my obutto ozone. I am looking to hard mount it but I am having trouble figuring out where to drill the holes. I was wondering if there is a 1:1 scale template I could print out and just drill the dots. Has anyone done this and how did they do it? Thanks in advance

Can't you just trace the underside of the T300 for the template?

Need some help. Using T300 together with Th8a shifter. Problem is when I plug the DIN cable from shifter into back of wheel base it does not work. Only works when I plug it into ps4 usb. Altough instruction manual says either way should work. Playing Pcars by the way. And all gear buttons is correctly assigned in options menu. Any help?

My T300 now is working, i don't have it right now because the wheel still with Vladmir(the guy who fixs the wheels). But he said that the problem was the PCi card board Dy-02, that i had to change, maybe the shiffter connecter of you base is broken, or something on the main board.

Really sad with this wheels, a amazing piece of hardware having so many problems.

Need help.Cant get green light on the mode button.Works in normal mode, but not when you inverted the pedals to GT style.Ihave the latest firmware.Any tip.+
