Fiat Panda...all stock except N3 tires and driving aids OFF

...at Costa di Amalfi, reverse direction

3'28.748

..here we go. Keep in mind this tin box has 40 horsepower. No oil change, not that oil would improve our situation much...

I don't know if we're supposed to be doing the best time we can, or just posting a 1-lap stint. Personally, I don't see any rules in the OP, so I'm going for the best clean lap that I can...

...and the winner is!!!!

*drumroll

GRUMP E ONE!!!!

Yahh!

My official result: 3:21.409, Grump guessed 3:28.748!

OMG, trying to drive the Panda up the big hill was painful! It went from like 32 mph down to 26 in 2nd gear. I thought I was seriously going to wind up needing to go down to 1st.

Okay, my turn....
I'll go far outside of the box...

Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 Turbo (J) '95
V8 : DOHC (4,000cc)
Power: 10,275 HP/ 6,000 RPM
Torque: 8,848.15 ft.lb/ 4,000 RPM
Weight: 638 kg
Drivetrain: 4WD
Mileage: 167.1
Nitrous setting: 255
Tires: R3
With excessive downforce and a 7 gear transmission.

And I'll run this monster @ Twin Ring Motegi Super Speedway (so much for all that power).

Result will be posted tomorrow at the time of this post.

Makes me wanna get one of these PS2 Hybrids to put 10,000hp on my car.

Unfortunately 10,000 HP doesn't pan out as glaring as the number is, but it is fun to attempt to control these beasts. With 10kHP come some serious traction issues, and tough gearing challenges.

For further reference, as it's setup now:
Top Speed Test: 752.51 MPH
0-400 Test: 0'06.945
0-1000 Test: 0'09.741

O_O

"As the speed of a given mass approaches the speed of light squared, time slows until it is at a standstill"

We shall soon see...

Gonna play it safe with this one and guess an even 0:28.000

On second thought, I decided to go scientific on this one. I'm changing to 0:13.750

Can we change our guesses for this, or did we over assume the horsepower's power?

I would say yes...
But one more hint, once this car reaches speed, it is hard to slow down, all of the track is run between 300-500 MPH.

SVX
0'59.000 (59 seconds).

oh come on... It's not that hard to drive, I could do 0'59.000 in reverse. (actually I'm going to see what my reverse time is next, once I tweak the reverse gear).

Time in Reverse Gear only: 0'45.397
Top Speed in Reverse Gear : 226.68 mph (should be able to do 300+ by the numbers.)

And the closest would be.....

......
...........The scientific guess (I'm curious on the science involved)

My time: 0'14.687

Closest guess: 0'13.750
Difference: 0'00.937
Winner: Ignignoc N Err
