I'm liking the W Trial. With historic rally cars? Absolutely beautiful. This will be very fun. :)

Very few classic rally cars can even come close to 560PP. Does PD pay attention to their own PP system?

I would believe they're looking for Group B cars which fit right in with the restrictions.

Also nice job PR1VATEJ0KER for snatching up 1st! 👍 I applaud you for controlling this beast of a Corvette.

Sounds good cant wait to give it ago, not sure when? When I got the missis moaning I'm always on the ps3 lol

Not bumping the fences during the Rally lap is not the easiest thing to do...and that makes it more fun in the end.

Looking forward to see what the fastest lap will be for the new Stingray. Nice to see it used for a TT so quickly.

I'm not usually too interested in the TTs. More of a gold and I'm outta here type and I'm dismal on dirt but I do have a tip that's working very well for me at the moment.

I'm at Eiger trying out the RS200 like everyone else and of course I felt the need to max it out to the full 560pp limit.Well that made the car,no that made me perfectly useless. I spent the first 5-6 tries just trying to find the starting line without going red never mind the finish line.

I felt that baby steps were in order here so I quickly lopped off 100pp right of the top and set out at 460pp and after 5 laps I now find myself 8 tenths off gold.Excess power here is not your friend.Just make the car car manageable and you'll be fine.

I managed a 1.11.989 in the Lancia Delta S4 Rally Car '85 at 560PP. And I've never been good at rally, took me about 10 attempts, with different cars, but this one just managed to respond to my inputs better than the others I had tried. I didn't try the RS200 though because mine is 0/0/0 and tradeable, so didn't want to add miles to it. But the S4 isn't tradeable and so I didn't mind using it in this.

I also managed the Deep Forest one in a Corvette Z06 (C6) and I managed a 1:24.298. It took me long enough to find the right car and tune, but the Z06 (C6) seemed the most manageable, I don't know why. The ZR1 would've been faster if I could've controlled it.

So I'm done with these now. They were not fun, but I got the gold and got the 🤬 out.

I love how we're forced into standard cars and onto PDs shoddy excuse for a dirt model =/

after 8 attempts with the RS200 I'm done with this junk. I don't care if the reward is a million statues made of solid gold, I don't care.

I think what pisses me off the most is if you make a mistake at the end, your next 3 laps are invalid.

HOW THE HELL DOES ME HITTING A WALL SPEED ME UP FOR 3 LAPS PD?!

Managed a 1:09 .805 after changing to the Delta S4 as recommended. Still don't ever want to be anywhere near this event ever again
My poor table hates me after that.. dirt tracks makes my wheel shake my desk to death

You only get the next lap invalidated no matter how many times the message pops up in one go, it only red laps the next one, none after that (unless you hit the wall in the same place again).

And the yes the bumpiness was fun, though very loud.

The Rally TT was superb though I agree with UrieHusky about the slightest tap and the next lap is ruined.
Used the RS200 for a straightforward 1.07.001 - thought I was on for a good slot in the leaderboard, then I looked at the top time (at 7am GMT) - 1.02.xxx Sheesh!:nervous:
Got a bit of work to do to stay in the top 2000!! Was 47th, but that honeymoon has long gone now!:(

Is there a link that I can keep an eye on the leaderboards? I'm at work and bored lol

There is here, which is the official ones. But if you wait a day or two, Milouse will get the MyGranturismo boards up and running, which aren't limited to 256 runners, and infinitely superior.

Also good job PJ 👍 but Amo is clearly feeling the heat, he's a second and a half up already

The Advanced Leaderboards are "up and running" for 2mn ;-)
TT54 #1
TT54 #2

Edit: the website can be slow in the next hour or two as the server will recalculate all scores.

Really? I didn't know that, when I get 3 invalid laps for one stuff up I normally just engage fliptable.exe and restart

It's on now chaps

Well done mate. You're still in 5th as I write.
Got to say....Jeezus, this is a real challenge :) Got me smiling all over my face and I'm only up to silver after 2 laps.
Tunes anyone??

Yeah, it disqualifies you for each 'offence' you commit, so if you go out onto the grass or bump along the wall, you'll get a series of 'invalidates next lap' messages as you hit the trigger points. I agree one is enough and it would have been trivial to code it to only give one message.
You got to admit this one got your blood pressure up. Must be a good challenge :)

Thanks for that mate got something to do at work now to pass abit of time lol

Just ran the timetrail for a couple of laps, was quite a fun one.

I'll include a youtube vid of my best lap ( 1.21.527 ), maybe someone can use it as a reference ;)

I was good enough for 75th place last night at 1:22.xxx, but now I'm in 611th, according to the leaderboards.

I think the only way I'll ever get into the top 10 is if I'm one of the first 10 to run the event. :)

Ha ha, same with me.

Currently at # 306 with 1:21.978. No real tune, just a bit of this and a bit of that.

Waiting for one to get posted here.

Wow, nice and smooth lap, dont see many places to improve either.
On a different not I must say your lap was much better than your choice of avatar pictures.

I really not into American cars...at all, so usually buy&garage, but must say the ZR1 (C6) '09 out the box all parts fitted but no tune as such...managed a 1:23.3 so time to start tinkering a bit & see what it can do, be cool to get sub 1:20's. Amo's 1:17.198 is very impressive indeed..as always.
