@Mikos: I tried your setup yesterday, I must admit its a good setup, maybe slightly better than Bandit's I have used before and I believe somebody would be able to drive under 10,0 with it but that still doesn't prove anything, I wont be bothering you anymore...
 
Just switched to GoinginHot's tune and did a 1:32.940, but the lap was red. :ouch: Had a PB first sector but messed up the next corner so I've got a 32.7 in the works hopefully. :D

EDIT: 1:32.891 :D. Dropped .2 though at least, fantastic tune once you get used to it. Puts a lot more emphasis on pedal work and fine steering input rather than the man-handling that pmj's required. Made a couple of minor adjustments though:

1. I'm not running the engine upgrades and no oil change, add the ECU and Sports exhaust and that gives 319bhp at 1337kg. 👍

2. Damper compression adjusted to 3:6 for no ABS.

EDIT2: 1:32.841, dropped .1 in the last two hairpins. :ouch:

I think we can be pretty sure that ImmortalPilot isn't cheating. He is a very fast driver and the amount of time he spends practicing in the formula cars on GT it's not surprising that he can go so fast.

I agree mate, I used to race in immortals f10 league, stock and tuned and he won every race! His pace and concentration is unbelievable.... Hence why people dont believe it lol! These cheaters just need to **** off and stop ruining a damn fine game!

Ok, so it seems that the leader board is getting fixed, we hope. Now let me say, I'm no tuner, the only thing I really try to do is get good balance with the car. I was only able to get that with toe which is not optimal.

This tune is down on power, I get left on the first straight by about a car length. I haven't figured that out, I did the engine tune on it to hopefully gain some speed, but it was the same. Trans is ok, I haven't messed with it other than resetting it how I normally do.

Sitting on a 32.498, there is a 32.2 there if I could put my pb sectors together.

Tx Mate, it was a great help. I ran 1:32.695 with (almost) that setup. I changed the damper from 9.1/6/6 to 14.1/9/9 and from 5/3/3 to 11.1/3/3. I used strong active steering, which was in vain.... I will try it without it again, and 1:32.2xx can be achieved, at least I hope so....

Finally found some motivation to run some more laps 'round Motegi and pulled out a 1:32.156 after 20 laps or so. I lost almost 2 tenths in T2 so a high 31.9 is possible.

No 2 at 1:09.229. A while ago, someone says 1:09.3xxx is at the limit of possibility with a perfect lap for a legit car. I am at loss for words now :dunce:

I've been flying under the radar recently as far as TT's go, but crawled out from under my rock to have a go in this one. Best I've got so far is a 1'32.803"
I can see a better time, its right there... but surprisingly difficult to stitch that lap together. Hoping to get another couple of tenths knocked off, but that's about all I can do unless I find that magic tweak to my setup. Having fun with it all the same.

I'm trialling lowering the power output along with the ballast now, as it give a better power/weight ratio, but the torque curve seems to drop off a bit too, so it may not be the best way forward.

Its a very tricky car on a very tricky track so its really hard to predict the real limit. In this case for sure is somewhere in the 1,08,xxx but expecting somebody will do it its very unlikely. Every day I drive I find a new tenth of a second and every new session moves my expectations up a little bit. Currently on 11,7 but I see another 3-4 tenths possible :)

I find it hard to believe you say 1:08.xxx is possible with a legit car. Have you seen ImmortalPilot Youtube video posted earlier in this thread ? He did 1:09.8xx, and that lap was near perfect, he even jumped the chicane curb. I don't think shaving more than half a second is possible, let alone near a second, without hacking the car.

This is what's been bothering me, the lines are blurry, cheating or not is very hard to find out.
 
Could someone please summarize this "cheater" thing, and the (C) tyres for me? I don't come here often, nor do I look for artificial ways to improve my laptimes (I do that by practicing more and tuning my cars...), just curious and confused?!? :)

Well just spent around two hour with my mate in a lounge testing all these hidden tyres and also with turning the downforce up to see the effects.
I used a set of racing hard (c) and will say that my cornering speeds from entry to exit was nearly 10% higher than standard racing hards.

We also had ago at turning up down force to 80 -100 and it did up the PP of the car so dropped the power to bring car back down to the 880 and found the car would go round corner like its on rails even with standard hards at the cost of speed on the straight but adding 100kg of ballast and upping power made the car more realistic on straights but still very fast in corners.

We ran this car against mine witch i sit at 154th with exact same set up on gears and suspension in a lounge race and recorded how much faster the hidden tyres and downforce have a effect

Yes I agree, it has taken the edge right off this game for me.
People posting stupid names on the leader board are costing me Nscore points and placements. Which is really annoying if you have put a lot of effort into it.

I look forward to GT6 being much more water tight with no cheating possible. I hope they have time to react since they are probably done writing the software by now?

Can someone tell me if it is possible to do Motegi in 1:31.8 with AT?

That guy is definitely cheating, it says he had SHs on :P the first legit time is Yinato in 7th.
 
Then why is his time still there?
Surely there is a moderator for this game or something?
Kitten websites are controlled better than GT5

Yes Ive seen that replay and also the new one and believe in what Ive said earlier, if you drive every day in a row for a few hours you will find a gap you didnt even imagine was possible. Im just saying what would be the theoretically perfect lap not that somebody will do it unless he's a robot :)
