Guys, I'm new to this forum, I found it while looking online for ideas on how to tune the Integra that I was using for this time trial.... I've spent the last few ours reading previous post, and have to say that I'm very impressed with the information available here.
I stated the day running 2:36.xx and finished 2:29.xx thanks to you guys... Looking forward to future post!

Thanks,
Frank

That's a great result, 7 seconds, and all, or at least some of it, due to this thread. Congratulations. Think I'm going to re read all the posts here, 7 tenths will do me.

To Ridox. Used your car with and without any changes but it was never going to give my 2:25.8 ghost much to worry about I'm afraid.
Hoping to get into Cargo's car this evening, no doubt it will have less than your 999,000 km. Forgot to look for the FR, will do it when/if I play later. Thanks Ridox.

Btw I don`t know if anyone notice but the Stotty tune is much better with rear Toe at -0.60 I manage to improve my time to 2.26.341 witch is better then 2.26.613 with the regular Stotty tune. If someone miss this you can try it btw and I use not 200 but 156 kg of Balast with 268 bhp.

Yep. I too reduced the rear toe as well as ballast to about 145kg I think. Found it worked pretty well for me.

Did you try more ballast and power ( 276HP, 1199 kg )? The car doesn't have chassis reinforcement and it's 999,999.999 km  Too much miles made it slow :D

Hey Ridox, do you have any tunes for the Honda Prelude type S '96 or '98 ?

I have the old gen Prelude tuned for Tsukuba a long time ago, it has over 300HP, so it will need retuning for Suzuka. The later gen Prelude was also tuned, but for wangan battle at SSR7 - stock transmission with custom ratio and full power. I think I have most of the Accord tuned for wangan ( high speed battle ), I don't think this 2+ liter engine will do well within 450PP limit as they have high torque.

I lapped 1'24.9 with rear toe at -1.00, I think this is the fastest way but the car is very unstable and it gets very hard to hit turning point markers on this track. Now I am using -0.80 and the car turns ok. Using this rear toe is the only way I can enter Dunlop decent.

2.24.803 using Cb/Stotty tune though i also had to change rear toe as it felt to much like sailing -in particular when ligning up for spoon. -0.80 was a sufficiant reduction for me and to compensate for turn-in's (at least that's the theory!) i set the bb to 2 10 instead of 3 10.

...And i'm sorry Ridox, but aren't we perhaps moving in to a grey zone there Again if we put artificially milage-boosted cars on the leaderboard?

I tried the type S '96 for a few laps last night, something about that specific model feels different to the rest. Stock diff setting is 35, 0, 0

A small improvement this morning now on 1.26.190
invalidated a 1.25.909 so i know it's there somewhere, just got to bring it out.
Many thanks to Ridox for tune which i am using some of, and a special thank you to Zona99, for lending me his tractor.
I will catch you.

The car is not competitive to even get into 250 :) It's just an experiment, if you read my previous post about the car, it has real life tune on it - based on KW v2 coil over, 36 degree turning angle and real life Autox alignment. It should not pose any threat to other drivers, just a slow car to mess around with. And the mileage - regardless how it adds up, I don't consider it as a cheat, unless it goes faster with more miles - which is not possible on this particular car - no advantage given - tested slower than low mileage I have on share at GTPCARSHARE.

I don't know about others who have the knowledge to alter mileage, but there will always be car with altered mileage - from what I have found on older TT replay, we just don't know which on this one, unless if I can get the replay :) It's one of those little changes that can't be detected with normal replay viewing - mileage, steering/turning angle ( beneficial for some who have the skills to use it ), front and rear downforce on all cars ( still can be done in 2.15 but increase PP so it evens things out, unless a skilled driver can use it well ) and one more little secret of reducing power without limiter ( nobody uses this yet even on older TT where cheaters were busy, so I may be the only one who knows it)

Just to let you guys know that even though part swapping or cheating cars like pre 2.15 has gone, some little tweak still works and I know when someone uses them from replay.

If anyone else having objection with me sharing the max mileage Integra, I will put it down :D

Well you DO share some interesting stuff here -i'll give you that!

And yes, i did read about that particular car that it's not competitive. But speaking generally, the Whole idea of the dirty oil business is to be competitive -and as a borrower, you can alter a cars setup and -i think, to a certain degree; tune. Otherwise i might have to agree with you: It's in the department of small tweaks there really isn't much to do about, so why not 999.999.999km...

Yes Ridox, I added weight/hp but it still wasn't a standout for me, maybe just too many km. Mind you, it's not a dog, just not sufficiently better to proceed with.

I tried the max possible to show those who borrow it, how much HP lost with max mileage :) It's an interesting discovery as I never tried it before

The power and torque drop is too much I guess, there's no visible benefit even with adding more power upgrades parts and using limiter. Try the high rpm turbo, and you'll see the car loses more HP even with such mileage.

How is the real life tune drive ? Does it understeer a lot ?

Maybe you should also try the Del Sol, I had a great tune for Deadnuts race at around 400PP, it was quite nice to drive. I'll give the 96 Prelude some laps :)

If you find my tune too unstable try adding chassis reinforcement 👍

For my part: I did! (Only forgot to mention; sorry!) But come to think of it, i didn't revert to -1.00 on the rear toe afterwards. Perhaps i should try that to see if it's stable enough for me to be consistant with my DS3. At 2.24.803 there might also be a small issue of running out of talent...:)

Btw; thanks for sharing Stotty.👍

New to doing seasonals, over 200 FF cars on GT5 and only one car is worth using. I would think there should be more cars that could be competitve.
Maybe GT6 will change things so cars are closer in performance having equal points.

Regarding Rido: I guess I missed the part where you already had a high/max mileage car on share. Guess that makes my experiment null and void now so I won't bother going any farther with the experiment/testing on my end.

As for the TT itself, I am still leaving about .500 out on the track, just having trouble stringing it together. Like some, I seem to have forgotten how to drive certain parts of the track. Not sure if I'll put anymore time into this as I am pretty much devoting myself to the last WRS TT, which coincidentally is also at this track but using the Lambo Muira. :) Good luck to those still improving, you can do it. 👍

There goes another -0.153, 2.24.691 to P.88.:P

atleas it's faster then inproving your time by -0.152 !

but P88 is very good from...almost 50.000 people giving a shot,
notice few days ago someone took 1st place with -0.001 !

Pretty crazy that

Well done on improving, if you keep this rate up then this could be your best Time Trial finishing position.

Thanks, yeah that would be very satisfying 👍

When I found out Ridox car had 999,999km I advised Hall it was too high to be of any benefit as we all know that over a certain limit, perhaps 20, 30,000km (can't remember the details) the dirty oil benefits wane.
However you shouldn't give up racing with your car as it will still be benefiting from the more modest dirty oil km's.

Anyway seeing as how you have pretty much decided to leave this TT and seeing as how it is now Tuesday here in OZ I looked to borrow your car, but it seems you have forgotten to put it on share.

Looking forward to giving it a try as soon as it is available,, cheers.

And congratulations to Doodles for claiming the top spot.

CARGO......!!!! Before I die of old age mate, put your car on share as you said you would please.

Many Thanks to Stotty, Ridox2JZGTE , Cb and everyone else on sharing there tunes and ideas.

Now at 2:25.480 with DS3 and still some improvement possible, if I ever get Spoon and the last chicane right.:ouch:

Have a go with the Integra I have on share now, It has a different more stable tune on it [than cb/stotty tune] but is still fast enough for a 2:25.xxx

I am taking some shots of the tune right now and will post shortly.
