We are all 'experimenting' with our tunes Cargo, add this, take that away, more of this, less of that etc etc, that never stops, but l'm a bit disappointed you wouldn't share when you are asleep, doesn't sound like the Cargo which is often portrayed here. I'm sure many would like to try a dirty car, after all Stotty's tune would be put onto it. You could revert to the factory tune if you want to keep yours secret.

Not to sound like an ass Dalone, but what part of "I will put it on share after I'm done racking up the miles" do you not understand? I am currently running the car in b-spec mode as I sleep in order to rack up the miles. That is the reason the car is not on share at this time. This is what pisses me off about you Dalone, so quick to take your jabs at me without fully reading/understanding what I post, or just ignoring certain parts. And anyway, what's stopping you from performing the same experiment as me? Instead of relying on others to do the dirty work, what's wrong with you doing this for yourself if you are so impatient?

Well you said your car ALREADY had dirty oil which WAS helping you. And, 'racking up the miles' is a pretty ambiguous statement , it could mean today, tomorrow or next week.
But thanks for clarifying why you can't share just yet.

Ok, first of all, my apologies for not making my intentions more clear. Second, yes, it does have dirty oil now and does seem to be advantageous as it is, but, I would like to get at least 20,000 miles on the car before I conclude my testing. I would like to be able to add at least a low end turbo on it without having to reduce the power limiter so much. I only have about 5,000 miles left to reach the 20,000 mile mark. We were without power for a good part of the day today/yesterday due to a damn squirrel committing suicide and blowing up the parks transformer, so I lost some time in my efforts today, but I will put the car on share on Monday regardless. Clear enough for you now.👍

Based on GTA Demo 2013 alone, even on that older build, the braking
physics without ABS was much better than in GT5, GT6 braking
physics should be great on ABS 0 :)

I believe your on a pad?

I think that to really get a benefit of the brakes an how it feels you need to have a wheel,

Abs0 might feel more real an thats great, but on TimeTrials its all about being as fast as possible an that is with abs1.

It helps to learn with abs0, you create a lighter braking foot an it creates better turn in.

When i say i would like to use abs1 more in GT6 to feel (normal) i mean that i understand it easier an how the car feels under braking,

I tried the Maroon? coloured car on your Carshare ID but that has clean oil and I think you said earlier you are full up again for F requests on your other ID.
Could you post that ID again Ridox and I'll give it a try anyway. Thanks.

PS, I really wanted a car to get into the top ten, but......ha ha.

PPS, we're waiting for a cyclone (Alessia) from the West to get here as predicted by the weather bureau by late tonight or thereabouts, so could be off line at some time in the future, although l don't think it will be a bad one.

Oh, yeah, the one on the GTPCARSHARE is the low miles Integra. The experimental Integra Spoon replica is on my GTP_Orido account, not sure if it's full now, but please try send me FR. The car is yellow with black carbon hood. Take a note of the distance driven  ( please understand that this car is built for experiment/testing - it has custom steering/turning angle, custom mileage achievable only from outside the game method and it won't get you to top ten with it's current state real life spec tune )

I am using stick ( 6+ years old DS2 ) + USB adapter, brakes and gas are great on this controller, even on GT5. I see what your goals are :) I would never use ABS as I don't like how the physics work when it's on, for example the rear bias brake balance works or the extra stability it adds.
I don't really care being the fastest, only wanted the best enjoyment out of driving a car  Even my 1st and only recorded time on this TT at 2:27.1xxx still hasn't changed - too busy having fun doing other stuff ( tuning + testing other cars ). I think with a best sector run put together I could get into 2:25xxx ( 1:04.1xx 1st sector - did it once during tuning run, proper run on the hairpin, spoon, 130R and chicane - which are all not on the 2:27 lap ), but lap time don't really matter to me.

EDIT : I'm online, sent you FR Dalone :)

,

ABS 1 is not faster. You just don't need to concentrate as much.

The couple of time trials where I tried ABS 0, I actually beat my ABS 1 times....

I have managed to get an integra type R (DC2) '99 onto the leaderboard with a 2:25.668 (164th place). Seems to be the only different car on the leaderboard. For me it's around .5 seconds quicker per lap than the DC5 '04.

It's almost new (75.3 miles) , no oil change, stage 3 weight reduction, stage 2 engine, high turbo. Using cb's tune from page 3.

edit - beat it with the '04. They are very evenly matched, '99 has better power to weight ratio, '04 brakes and corners better

Hey Jim, I'm not seeing this time nor this car on the leaderboard.

Also, I'll have to disagree with you again about ABS 0 being faster. If that was the case, don't you think everyone would be running ABS 0. There is a reason that 99.99% of the leaderboard is using ABS 1.

I beat that time with the '04. After that I ran it using candiflipper (US account), currently 248th - 2:25.828

I don't think ABS 0 is faster or slower. It's the same. I believe I ran faster times because I was concentrating more.

Ah, I see. That explains why I couldn't find you.

Thanks Ridox, in the meantime Hall90 sent me it via the glitch, haven't had much time to give it a try yet but will when I'm back in the game. I'll accept your FR as I'm sure you will have some more interesting cars in the future. Thanks.

Dirty oil it's better, DO NOT CHANGE OIL.
I've changed mine and had to down tune to stay in 450 PP.....:irked:
now I run lower HP and lower torque.

Yes you are correct that its just as fast but me personally i am not skilled enough to compete with it off.

Only Ti Tech has done such things
if i mind.

Mixed Emotions! :(

I have had so many .5's first sector an keep screwing up spoon or 130r!!!

I used marks ghost, an i flicked back to see how far infront i was it was like 3tenths entering spoon, i litterally braked went into 2nd bounced of limiter an ended in gravel!! My heart was in my mouth!..

On my new best lap time, S1 .8 not great but i kept going to improve on spoon an 130r an i was tenth down at 130r but Casio i absolutely smashed 27.7 an got 10th place by 0.000.01 :) it was a dramatic run to the line :)

2:23.761

You git! ('logging on to get revenge')
Na well done mate
Doodle is flying by the sounds of it :)

I've had another 2 goes at improving but no success... I seem to have completely lost the ability to get through T1

I do think the car handles better with chassis reinforcement fitted though as my best sector times have come with it. Might have another go in the week.

Some awesome times on the board - Andrew/Mark/CB/McBride 👍

Improved to 2'28.716 with CB's tune. Trying hard to put in more timed laps. Targeting to go at least 1 second faster than my current time. Lets see. Great lap Doodle.Following your ghost but its an exercise in futility.

Improved by 0.1 to a 2:25.407 for 186th after 11 consecutive laps of 0.2 behind my ghost I've started to really hook t1 up with some low 1.04s but I'm losing my time on that hair pin I just can't get it to turn in on the apex.
I'm doing well through spoon and 130r but the chicane is giving a few issues too if I get them right I think I could sneak in to the 24s

i had this too improve my time by 0.010 gained 6 places or something... then when I quit... i already lost 3 places within a minut! losing time in Degner 1 and Casio

I bettered my time once again with a margin of -0.365. 2:24.84 puts me in P.100, after I quit I lost 2 places so now I'm comfortable at P.102 though I think a 2.24.5 is a realistic target to aim for.

I have always admired your views for driving w/ ABS0. I agree, it's all about the "best enjoyment out of driving" and if the greatest clock time isn't important, it gives you a lot of room to experiment. ...and your experimenting always ads a great deal of insight here on GTP, so thanks for that.

I have actually been using ABS3. It just seems more stable for me - as I seem to have to drive in real hard - to be near competitive. I think as my confidence grows w/ better tunes (for better rotation) and w/ the DS3, I can ease off on entry for better exit, but right now I feel that is where I am at to get the most bang for my GT5 buck lol

You all here at GTP have helped take my TT experience further than I could imagine on my own. Very greatful, thanks all! :gtpflag:

Squeezed onto the main Leaderboard (for now, since there are 256 listed) at 251st w/ a 2:25.768. A low 2:25 is possible, just don't know if I have the time to throw it all together (have been just a week-ender latly). The laps have been there only to blow it in the spoon...oh well, they don't count till ya cross da' line haha

Guys, I'm new to this forum, I found it while looking online for ideas on how to tune the Integra that I was using for this time trial.... I've spent the last few ours reading previous post, and have to say that I'm very impressed with the information available here.
I stated the day running 2:36.xx and finished 2:29.xx thanks to you guys... Looking forward to future post!

Thanks,
Frank
