There are quite a few Brits amongst us here, including BanditKarter, so in the interests of talking up the best at their game I am compelled to announce that Australia, after flogging the Poms in the 1st Test Cricket match the other day here, are now kicking off the 2nd Test with 8 for 521.

Into the licence tests in GT6. Finished up to the Freshman Cup and have handed the controller over to my eldest to start his licences while the youngest is about at my level on the other PS/TV.

Argghh, so annoyed! None of the supermarkets have GT6!!! I have to wait another 2 hours to get it from one of the gaming shops in the mall

I'm so happy for you guys being able to play GT6 so quickly. I've made a amazon preorder but it will arrive in Bucharest next week. The problem in Romania is that they don't have PSN here so we can't buy DLCs or download any kind of demo.
For GT6 I will use a UK account so after I install GT6 I will send you all new friend request from the UK account because having you in friends lists motivated me a lot to improve my laps ( I want to thank you all for that with this opportunity). Please delete my romanian account from your friend list.

I signed into GT6 as Dalone Ranger as it required two names. Then it said your in game id will be D Ranger.

I would have preferred just Dalone.

However in some of the licences, players on my friends list (GT5) are shown using their same id as in GT5?

I've finally got GT6! Had to walk to 4 different shops before I finally found one where they had some stock!

You should have done your name as 'Dalone Ranged'. Then you'd have shown as 'D Ranged'.

Do we have to do the driving licenses again on GT6 ?
I didn't even do the Formula Gran Turismo or the 24 hours races on GT5 lol (Takes too much time, and the formulas are hard to control with gamepad)

Regarding the new game ID we have to pick, I'm wondering how it will show up in the rankings and such. Would be great if it posted this new ID along with your PSN user name. Else this could get confusing trying to figure out who is who if it only posts this new game ID.

We do licences again but your friends show up as well on results. Brilliant.
Licences seem to be a bit easier than they were.
Your psn id shows as normal on line.
Think thats all correct

I hope you get a copy soon of GT6 soon, in the meantime, keep trying to improve, I nearly gave up @ 2:48, and now I'm down to 2:37, (thanks to hall90) I know there is room for improvement, but I can't seem to string a good lap together.

I haven't given up on this time trial yet.

Good luck with the One Dayers, it's the shorter versions of the game which brought me back to cricket many years ago.

That's a real nice story, That's something for gt6 News, if there is such a thing "friend list friend buy's a friend list friend GT6" this is one of those feel good news flashes . 👍 Because Im living very long in The Netherlands I kinda become like one of them, And if you know the dutch and the joke about hem; Scottish are the Dutch exiled from the Netherlands for spending too much money. So I was thinking to wait after Christmas till buying the gt6 and save 10 Euros or maybe more usually things get cheaper after holiday's season.

Have torn myself away from GT6 for a bit today to come back and have another attempt at this and have manged to improve by .101 for a 2:34.520, I am going to carry on at it for a while but am sure the GT6 disc will be going back in the ps3 soon.
