Well if I did the lap in practice it wouldn't be a fair test. The top spot is rightly mine anyway, I'm hoping PD will notice the time difference and delete all the cheated times from the leaderboard so that I do actually get the top spot which I've earned. It's worth a try, the leaderboard already has cheated times on it so it's not exactly like it affects that.

All I'm saying is you didn't have to go and add yet another cheated time to the board, regardless if you have the top spot legitimately or not. It is really uncalled for. Plus, there is always the chance that someone else could come along and knock you off your perch with a faster legit time.

It doesn't change a thing either way, my legit time is still there for people to chase. If someone beats my legit time I'll try and improve it also. And if someone did beat my legit time they still wouldn't have shown up as number one, so if this helps get the cheated times removed then that's good.

Right, whatever. I'm done with this now, you're all stressing me out, what's done is done and I can't do anything about it. I think you all just need to chill out a bit, at the end of the day it's a game.

Almost too late for this question but maybe it will be the same for GT6. Someone gave me a tuned car for this seasonal. I already had the same car with the same tune but the guy had made some small changes to it, adjusted LSD a bit. He's also set up the three sheets with different setups. When I got the car, the only setting that stayed the same was the tranny numbers. Is this a glitch or is this normal? I've given cars to people to try out, thinking that my tunes would go with the car. It seems they don't. Anyone have experience on this?
BTw, if anyone can figure out how to the the LFA to settle down, it's one fast car for this event. The spoiler only comes up above a certain speed which is useless for corners but, man, is it fast!

Might help them to jump up a number of places if all Sports Hard entries get deleted. Hopefully PD find a way also to detect the Comfort Soft tyre entries with Sports Hard tyres if that is what is being done or maybe extra downforce level, at least delete ones without replays. I think a better username could have been used to get attention of PD though. GT6 is out soon, hopefully it is more secure. GT5 came out before PS3 got hacked to general public accessibility level.

Loving the LFA '10 ....! Truly a forgiving car for us noobs !

I saw your time just now. Better than I could get with it. Forgiving? Not for me. I can't get it under control but it's very fast. The SS10 is fast too but doesn't hug the corners like the NSX.

Improved my time by 0.2 for a respectable 2:33.494 after 11 consecutive high 33s but threw a lot of time away with huge slide at crest of eu rouge and staying in 2nd for exit of bus stop cost me a bit too .
Have to also mention how close the battle is on my friends list not only are 11 of them in top 250 5 of us are withing 0.2 of each other over a 2:30 lap that is extremely close
Down to 2:33.434 now edging closer to shoenboggie
Scratch that had did a 2:33.307 with a okay 1st sector a decent 2nd but my last sector absolutely nailed it with best I've taken the bus stop chicane

Got a 2:33.267 just now Skyline... Still losing time on that dang last chicane and killing my high 2:32.9xx run. Was able to hit Eu Rouge a few times without lifting much at all to lose so much of it back over driving the last sector and braking too late. Going to take a day away from the TT and see if that helps.

Are all of you TT regulars planning to run this come this Friday when GT6 comes out? Thinking I may just be done with this TT at that point, never know.

I'm pretty much done with it now. May take a few more tries, but I will definitely be done with it after I pick up my reserved copy of GT6. After the 5th, its so long GT5, hello GT6.

Just got a low 1:39 with Ford GT '06 that I tuned, messy driving from Eau Rouge onwards, running with lowest weight possible ( added little ballast at the rear ) I should have done at least mid 38s if I don't messed up last 2 corners badly.

This TT76 has to be the one of the worst I have ever done I have tried a number of different setups but nothing even work to get a good time posted. Special thanks to all members that help me out in these last 5 TTs events and sharing their cars and tunes. We are a good bunch of people on here and I will see you on the GT6 forum after Friday.

Just keep trying, who's tune are you using?
I used Bandits tune his style is very close to mine so it worked well.👍

Great time mate so close between us I'd love to see a side by side replay of us it's that close
I'm losing time in first corner still and fighting to get back time over last sectors I'm using a ghost from first day a 2:32.8 I manage to lose 0.4 in 1st corner and by time I've done eu rouge it's up to 1.2 but last 2 sectors I gain 0.7 so I know a 32 is there for the taking.
I will still do the TT but Friday and rest of weekend it will be all about GT6

Guess I'm again being a little too conservative. After watching yours and a few other replays, I see that the Red and White rumbles are not always out of bounds in some sections. Really hope PD is more consistant with their track boundaries in GT6.

I have felt that in recent TT's the out of bounds rule has been relaxed somewhat.

I would also add that if this is indeed the last TT in GT5 I don't have a problem with BanditKarter doing what he has to to claim the final 1st place, seeing as he is the fastest legit racer.

I'd rather he had the claim to fame, seeing as he is 'one of ours, so to speak' than one of 'them'.

Last night, I did a great improvement in my time, I finally got 2.34s (2.34.391s) with the car borrowed from Cage-Rage and Setup from GTP_BanditKarter , Thank´s !

I think I can get 2.33s , but I have to improve on last chicane entry, I lose a lot of time!

NOTE : BanditKater setup is not magic, but it helps a lot!

Common guys!! I think we all know Bandit’s opinion about those damn cheaters! In normal circumstances he wouldn’t do what he did. He just tried to prove a point. Don’t forget that like Dalone said, he’s one of us, and probably the best! If I were in his place, I would be pissed too with those cheaters always stealing my deserved 1st place!

I say somewhat because I still disagree with what he did as a whole, but like you said, its probably the last TT so it is what it is. Plus, I just don't feel like arguing about it. Yeah, I agree! I just wanted to see how easy it was to bend the rules, and it's very easy! Let's hope it isn't possible for GT6 otherwise I'll just be spending all my time doing offline time trials and seeing how fast I can make those new karts go!

lets hope so but during the Academy qualification 2013 there where guys who change things too, I saw on some site a comments after the qualification, someone from Indonesia, they probably did setup tricks ect. But you can do lots of things like overclocking your system. That too will give you faster time, not sure how much but it can be theoretically helpful. Fat ps is I think faster by default than the thinner one. But anyway a good driver will always be a good driver Thanks for sharing though its good to know. BTW you have some awesome driving skills

I think BK made a good point to these small-willied 🤬's. He beat LEONIS by a full 3 seconds. The only negative I see is the point that skyline made about the person at the bottom of the leader-board (their 5 minutes of fame) & the person who would've ended there...

Too funny, I think we are using the same ghost. I can be even to slightly ahead of that ghost through sector one/two and then fall behind in the last few corners. So, I would be ahead of you until the last sector and you would come storming back to even with me.

Looking forward to GT6, will run out to GameStop at lunch on Friday to pick-up my pre/order.

Still liking this TT so may give it a few more runs this weekend and hope the cheaters get removed.

thanks for the heads up , It can overload the system I understand With the tires Im not sure those guys with the Ford GT 6 are way back so I don't think I can look up on what compound they use one could always ask I guess It will be good for my German lots of Ford GT '5 are in 1:36 and when driving Ford GT '6 I see not that much difference both behave similar but maybe there is more to the '5 than I know. But look now at the chart and there is one on comforts soft with GT'5 in 1:32:xxx! ...

And about the person at the bottom. Lets say people cheat and you don't even know about it. You look at the chart and see ..well 6 seconds off pace. What will you do? Practice more, right? And what happens if you practice a lot? You become better good. So with out knowing you will become better and better. So cheaters make you practice more.

It's so frustrating I've had my best TT results here on spa but I've never actually delivered that full potential in one lap there always one part of the track I just don't get right this car it seems to be the first witch is one of the most important considering if you get it wrong you lose all the time going down the straight
