I use 2nd gear on the exit of the bus stop, you have to be careful not to spin the wheels up straight away, but once the car sticks plant the throttle! :)
Thanks, I've been using 2nd the whole time with this TT, just need to get the car pointed strait as soon as possible and feed in the throttle without too much wheel spin. Seem to
Lose .500-.300 on this exit alone. Trying to get into the 32's.

Yeah, make sure you use the inside kerb to shorten the line as well! 👍
Also another big tip is to keep off the outside kerbs on the last corner and the first corner, they just lose you time even though you can take a wider line. They're too bumpy and the car just bounces off the rev limiter.

Lapped a couple a couple of 32's earlier on, seems like they've not registered. Guess I'll have to try again tomorrow. Thanks Bandit for the car :) I think it's faster in Gold

Well done John. I'm liking this new ghost of yours. I redlapped a 30.8 and got a clean 30.979. It was gonna be a .6 but my nose decided that it would be funny if it was itchy. :grumpy:

Haha, whenever I've painted my car gold in the past it's not turned out so well! But it appears to have worked this time! :D

Nice one. I'm down to a 2:30.743 for the 2nd quickest non-cheater time. I lost two tenths in sector 1 and another tenth in sector 2 and 3. I have a possible 30.3 and I'll be ready to chace down the Bandit tomorrow. :)

Nice one Doodle! :sly: Are you still using the original setup?

I'm using your setup, but with a few LSD and toe changes. Very good balance by the way. 👍

Okay, is that the setup I posted here or the one I had on the car yesterday? I changed it again today and found something I preferred 👍

You have a new one? I was using the one you posted on here, I'll give it a go tomorrow and see if I like it.

Couple of tenths minor improvement to 2:36.7 however a few laps ago I was 1.1 seconds in front of my ghost at the r/hander at the last time check. Lost it all at the final chicane.

Must thank Bandit for reminding me about not braking but just lifting off at the first l/r hander at the start of the hill, many tenths can be saved there with that.

Update, couple of minutes later;

Holy shomoly, did a shocking chicane at the top of the hill, actually took my finger off the acc' button to restart but decided to keep going anyway just to have warm tires for the next lap.

And blow me down, look in the rear-view mirror going down the hill and can hardly even see my ghost. Found 1.1 sec's again at the last time check but ended up losing fair bit of it at the last chicane, however still maintained nearly 3/4 of a second lead at the finish.

Now on 2:36.107.

Great lap bandit, you make it look very easy.
Just had a question about the high range turbo - how much time does it cost using it? Is it much slower or does it just increase torque so its more difficult to control?

No improvement for me today but there will be later or tomorrrow, so close to 2.34s.
Well done to Bandit and Doodle, fantastic times. Thanks to Bandit and Doodle for the tunes which you posted. Bandit's tune works well for me but still getting left by your goldcar. 💡 :)

Hey praiano, any chance you could tweak your Shelby Supercharged 550PP tune to suit this seasonal?
I've tested my Ferrari 599, LFA, GSXR, all are 550PP sport soft and i only change for a lower LSD accel to fit the tires. It wasn't perfect but it fit to the comfort soft tires too.
Will check the shelby and also my Honda HSC. They are not competitive against the Honda LM road with his downforce, but they give a great driving pleasure for sure.

You could add it to my green Honda (no engine upgrade) and try it out. Didn't do it for me.

I've only run with the turbo and engine stage 3 so far, currently on a 2'35.0 looking forward to running without both on your other car. Hopefully can get into the 34s :)

hey all, there are some fantastic laps being run here, it will be interesting to see the final time. Having run the nsx lemans, and going ok by noob standard, I thought Id have a look elsewhere. The aston martin v12 vantage, with weight reduction 3 and aeros fitted was faster than the Honda for me. It seemed very stable with great accel. I would be interested to see what you experts can do with it. I found it a seriously good drive. I know its heavy, but for some reason, it seems to go fantastic, very stable in and out of corners.

It's just a quick tune but it's almost as fast as my Lexus LFA . 1:36.8xx. Still need some little adjust but it's ok for a base.
TO set the gears ,after reset put final gear at 4.400 , then top speed 180 KMH then Ratios and finally Final gear 2.500

Enjoy your drive.

If you run with the turbo on it just means that you'll have more torque and less horsepower. And horsepower is more important down the straights, I estimate that it would cost you a few tenths every lap if you used it. Even though you have more torque you can't use it coming out the corners.

I can't wait to participate again in these TT's. I have not for a while because I moved to Denmark a few weeks ago and just last week I had the pleasure of having someone break into my house and steal stuff among my fat PS3 and copy of GT5. Hope to back soon when I receive my replacements :-)

Welcome to Denmark!:guilty:

I was going to skip this one as I'm terrible at the last right left before the finish line but, I gave it try anyway last night.
I either brake too soon or too late entering or hit the strips on exit and spin. I can get it right to start a lap but I can't judge my braking with the extra speed.
After a very frustrating hour I managed a 2:32.462 with a great first two sections but, my usual awful last one.
I'll probably give it one more try before Friday and hopefully I can make a half way decent final section.
