It's so frustrating I've had my best TT results here on spa but I've never actually delivered that full potential in one lap there always one part of the track I just don't get right this car it seems to be the first witch is one of the most important considering if you get it wrong you lose all the time going down the straight

Agree with the frustrating part.....some of us are just not Allen's and are just quick/fast. We all have a driving style that suits certain tracks and/or certain complex of corners. Eu Rouge (Sector one and two) I can put down a good time. Last part of the track not so much.

I thought I'd post with how I'm getting on.

Being a bit of a novice only had the game a week or so (warm up for GT 6 release), I spent the last 2-3 days or so spamming the UCD for the NSX-R Prototype - finally got it last night .

I've probably run about 20 or so laps at the moment and managed a 2:42.395.

My target over the last couple of days before GT 6 arrives and I put GT 5 back in it's box is a 2:39.xxx or better.

Using DS3/Manual and finding Eau Rouge and the last chicane the most challenging parts of the track, but hopefully I'll get there in the end.

Hey everyone, I'm new here and I've had GT5 for only about 4 days or so, so I want to see if I have at least a bit of pace. I tuned up an 430 Scuderia (I liked it from a special event) and I've gotten a 2:41.3 so far with an invalidated 2:40.8. I think a 39 is possible on a ripper lap. I'm also using the directional buttons on the controller.

I used Bandits tune his style is very close to mine so it worked well.👍

I am using Praiano's tune. I also used Bandit's tune but did not work out for me. Will give it another try though.

LOL, Collecting pink paint is one of the benefits of being a female on GT5.

now at 2:33.8 and only because I'm finally starting to run Eau Rouge without getting off the track. Spa took me the most amount of time to learn because of these 3 corners (3, 4 and 5) and now I can start exercising the rest of the corners
This car must be raced as a kart, actually I think it's somewhere between a kart and a formula racing car. The biggest problem I have is with corner exit but not because of the throttle control only but a combination of throttle and steering that is very very hard to do on DS3 sticks...

That's sad that people have to resort to such low levels. Sorry to hear about this and thanks for clearing things up.

Almost too late for this question but maybe it will be the same for GT6. Someone gave me a tuned car for this seasonal. I already had the same car with the same tune but the guy had made some small changes to it, adjusted LSD a bit. He's also set up the three sheets with different setups. When I got the car, the only setting that stayed the same was the tranny numbers. Is this a glitch or is this normal? I've given cars to people to try out, thinking that my tunes would go with the car. It seems they don't. Anyone have experience on this?
BTw, if anyone can figure out how to the the LFA to settle down, it's one fast car for this event. The spoiler only comes up above a certain speed which is useless for corners but, man, is it fast!

Small improvement again tonight, into the 2:34's with a .889, a little messy in places thru the first two sectors but I think the third was spot on for me. Having some trouble getting around La Source perfectly and Eu Rogue is still hit and miss too.

Perhaps a few more tenths still to come, we will see soon enough.

And about the person at the bottom. Lets say people cheat and you don't even know about it. You look at the chart and see ..well 6 seconds off pace. What will you do? Practice more, right? And what happens if you practice a lot? You become better good. So with out knowing you will become better and better. So cheaters make you practice more.

That's a good, 'glass half full' way of looking at it! 👍 I just don't get why some people feel the need to do the cheating thing when it's so obvious...

I'll give it a go, but the thing only has 283HP I also gave it a rear wing and put it to max (20).

Just a quick question. Using banditKarter22's setup (thanks for the help it is most appreciated) but unable to get my BHP higher than 414, BanditKarter22 and others appear to be at 423??? I have no added weight no turbo or any other mods. I'm obviously missing something could someone enlighten me.

I have just tried out suba1960 car and I went from 2:42.3 to 2:41.2 and I notice that his car was without Rigidity Improvement would that have made any difference to the car because now I am a lot faster through the corners. All the time I have been using Rigidity Improvement and now I can see a lot more room for improvement for me.


Edit: Just went 2:39.445

The cars have dirty oil (lamp is on), which improves the performance.

Therefore, the car must have but at least 8,000 km or more on the speedometer

Do you have 3rd stage engine tune? Failing that a small amount of ballast and/or a small reduction in downforce will help to boost hp a few points.
