Spent some time in the rental, quite scary with it being easy to lose control during braking but super fun! Managed to get in the 7:30s
Will try upgrades and a tune to see if I can at least get Silver before times up.

Edit: Got into the 7:01s! and think Ill be safe for silver.

Still no time improvement for me whatsoever. I did get some useful tips from @MadMax though, running a low accel LSD setting really helps with this tail happy bastard.

I might have an easier time putting together sectors now, but I need them to be together at once :(

And I only need to improve around a second for a hopefully safe gold.

It took a while, but I managed to beat my time with Automatic Transmission. (6:54.6).

My first laps with tuned NSX and using a tune from @Jeje6410 I managed to get into 7:12. Car is stable under braking, but steering with directional buttons makes it even more snappy. So much acceleration is lost trying to control where it's going mid-turn and the exit.
Thanks a lot my friend @tmtk for your feedback. It's always a real pleasure. Thanks again for having tested and used it

7:11.500 (with 0.5 penalty)
Having tried a few tunes posted here I can safely say that as an average DS4 player using directional buttons and X/O inputs I feel best with @Jeje6410 tune. Very stable on corner entry (great for trail braking), but still too wild on exit, need to be very careful with gas input. Other tunes felt too loose for my liking.

Every NSX wants to kill me around this track, but Jeje's the least. 😅

Thanks a lot my friend @tmtk and bravo for your good time !!!!!

Well I tried to improve my best for the last couple of days by mucking about with tunes..... and can't get to my previous best which is many seconds away from bronze!
I've lost track of the tuning and made the car much worse..... the back end is all over the place. Have installed some bits that can't be removed so I think my only option is to buy another one and start from scratch! But that will cost way more than the bronze prize..... 🥺

Normally I'm trying to the end, but somehow I lost my drive a bit on this one, 5 seconds of gold is not realy my goal and i know the Nordschleife quite well, but the NSX and me are just not the best team I quess.
I think if I would have the time to sit down for a few hours perfecting the tune I could scraps af some time but gold?, I don't think so, so I'll take my silver and focus on the next one, saves me alot of frustrating 🤣
It was fun trying tho!

Peace, I'm out 🤣

Easily done.

I find the best thing to do is to get a base setup and then copy it and edit the copy. That way, I can always find my way back to a known good spot by loading up the base settings again.

Don't buy another! The Jester setup is relatively stable and predictable. Load that back in and chip away at the time.

Another two days before I will be home to have a go at this properly. Champing at the bit.
Finally got going on return from Christmas break. Before the break I did only two laps with Mistah MCA's tune and did 7:12.

Played around with tunes, trying Digit's, Jester's (via Metalgear), Mistah MCA's again and eventually landing on Kie25's.

Been chipping away and currently at 6:55.018. Will hopefully find the last 0.6 sec before the deadline but there are so many places to mess it up. I keep finding new ones...

For now though I'm off to celebrate the New Year. Happy New Year everyone.

Well, considering that before this TT I have never driven on this track and it was a total unknown, plus the fact that I hate to drive the NSX from the bottom of my heart, no matter the setup, I guess I can be very happy with silver this time :)

I'm sure I can gain maybe 2 or even 3 seconds if I hook up THE lap, but gold is for sure out of reach for this round. :)
