Spent the entire morning spinning out lap after lap 🙈🙈 Still trying to figure out how o keep the rear calm....minor improvement to 1:49.6 😭
If the G-Pro's price gives your wallet and bank account hysterics, as it does mine, you might have a gander at this. If my 29, that I bought in Dec. '22 to go with my new PS5 and GT7 at that time, ever dies, I'll be seriously considering going Thrustmaster. Can I get a 👍 from any Logitech G PRO Racing Wheel users who are in this corner of the internet pls? Group DM incoming as I consider moving on from my trusty G29
I went straight from controller to a logi pro, so I can't compare it to anything else, but I am blissfully happy with it! And now they have a (small) ecosystem with the rs hub; I've got a track wheel on order. Can I get a 👍 from any Logitech G PRO Racing Wheel users who are in this corner of the internet pls? Thanks @icycls - I trust everyone over here to have a similar perspective as I do, but yes I do keep an eye on that thread as well.I went straight from controller to a logi pro, so I can't compare it to anything else, but I am blissfully happy with it! have you seen this thread: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/logitech-g-pro-racing-wheel.412554/page-156#post-14349079
I think our friend @Evilmuffin uses the Logitech G Pro. For my part, I went from the G29 to the GT DD Pro 8Nm and I am very happy with it (good return on investment) and I saw the difference. Can I get a 👍 from any Logitech G PRO Racing Wheel users who are in this corner of the internet pls? My progression was G29, G29 with True-Brake Mod, GT DD Pro. IMHO, the True-Brake mod made the biggest difference. If you are using the wheel exclusively for GT7 (as I am), the TrueForce stuff was originally a huge upgrade on the wheel, but the 1.49 update killed most of it. The pedals are a little better than the G29/True-Brake combination. The wheel is still better, just not as much. The thing that I like the most is the ability to adjust the brake response pressure digitally from the wheel. The thing that I hate the most is once a month at the most inopportune time force feedback completely failing to work, i.e. wheel works, but zero force feedback. Never had this happen with the G29, once a month with the DD Pro. Never had any experience outside the Logitech ecosystem. I didn't buy a Fanatec because of concerns about lack of support and stability of the company. I had a G29 fail once and Logitech, after some back and forth, replaced it. The price is brutal, the 1.49 update a real disappointment, but IF I had to choose again, I am not sure what I would do, but I think I would still lean toward Logitech. The thrustmaster is an interesting product, but very, very new.Can I get a 👍 from any Logitech G PRO Racing Wheel users who are in this corner of the internet pls? Really, anything sub-50 just seems crazy impressive to me. The sausages and the frikkin hairpin are driving me nuts. I feel like I should be able to carry so much speed through that hairpin but I just can't seem to figure it out...After 300 long painful miles split over 2 sessions, endless sausage curb deaths, a few punches of my wheel, I've arrived at a 47.9!

Unsolicited advice:Here are my splits (compare to Tidgney):
S1: 0:39.362 (+0.778) - I really need to keep speed in the looooong left turn
S2: 0:36.240 (+0.648) - The damn hairpin is killing me, no matter how I goes through
S3: 0:35.431 (+0.999) - but my main concern is really the last sector...
This is my first serious session, so despite the gap with Tidgney and some dudes here, I'm pretty much happy but there's a lot on the table.
I'll practice and learn where to improve my braking points, my apexes and it should be a safe yellow score.
Our next session will start in 30 mns and should be very fun, so feel free to join u
I went form G29 > G923 > G923 with pro Pedals > Pro Wheel and pro PedalsCan I get a 👍 from any Logitech G PRO Racing Wheel users who are in this corner of the internet pls? Group DM incoming as I consider moving on from my trusty G29
Thanks so much for your "'unsollicited but very welcome" advice, KenUnsolicited advice:
The hairpin needs to be taken much slower than I initially thought. About 38-40 MPH. (61-64 kph). You should be able to safely being to accelerate even if you are on the curbing as long as your tire does not hit the dip. So even more v-shaped than I originally thought.
The last turn leading to the start finish line: Once you cross the center of the track and are inside of the camber change, you should be able to feather the throttle to achieve 94-95 mph (150-154 kph)at the apex before accelerating.
Maybe something in my poor driving hints is of use. If not, do as most people, and disregard my opinions.
Regards,
Ken
You're most welcome ZEEPesselles loving you BMW livery very Alpina lookin! C'est magnifique!!
Welcome! Please stop driving so quickly, you’re making the rest of us look bad!!! 😆This one I only ran on Thursday as I was more focused at Lake Louise so I haven't tried as much but I definitely believe a 48.5 is doable so I will probably work on this one next.

I just now realised there is a seperate thread for the Lake Louise time trial. I didn't realise this at the time I sent this post. My apologiesHad some fun in the snow with this one, I felt a 37 was possible and I achieved it today, pretty happy with my result.

You need to display all racing infos and you see everything as if it was you driving the carOn the in-game replays that you access from the leaderboard, is there a way to view the throttle and brake inputs and what gear is being used? Like when you watch your own replays?
