Just ended session B, should be no rubber left on those tires after 2 hours of blasting.
First hour 1.5 hours I just not came close to my 51.6...., frustrated i turned up my CS, car gets a bit to stiff for my liking at the slower corners but found some time on different places, I'm now at 1.51.364 @1.44% place 603 at the time, kind of happy with it for a second session!.

Ofcourse I made a special gotcha B#tch NSX 🤣🤣

I like the combo very much, it grows on me 😁🤣...we keep hunting 😁

Thought I'd try with the controller while I had 10 minutes.
Did have TC1, ASM and CS on.
Quite impressed.
Normally with wheel I don't use any.
But found that backing off brake into T1 and using throttle helped stability but that's with assists.
See if holds enough for Gold.
Is all about the credits on this one though.

Ok, here is my video of my first run, eight laps, it's twenty minutes long. Well I'm a second off silver. I feel more comfortable with this one as opposed to the Nordschleife NSX challenge, that was 20 times harder. That first left turn is a pain, I feel it's killing my time because I'm afraid if I go too fast, chances are i'll hit the barrier.

I wish it was a little more stable and see we can't tune it this time. However I slightly decreased my time as I ran each lap, so that gives me a good sign that I will earn gold soon. I watched Nebu's ghost and he got in the 1'50.000 club. So, what can I do to improve, and what landmarks can help me figure out the right braking points?

Watch the guide @snc posted at Page 135 it shows the braking points very good it helped me a lot.

Hi,

The Bus stop! Ohhh the infernal bus stop! I am right across a really really good time... Until the Bus stop. I just cannot get it right.
Much wailing and gnashing of teeth here. Practice makes perfect I know. Currently sitting in the mid 1:52:xxx which might hold for gold. If I can make the Bus stop work I could be on a super lap time.

Back to it!!!....

Best regards to all here.

Today I tried manual gears for the 1st time in this TT. For sure, it provides better handling through engine braking. Infact, I got more comfy through turn 1 because of this. The double chicane only proving to be a small hiccup. I was just 2 tenths slower than my best time but I'm sure I can better my best time this way.

P.S - The 2nd gear is forbidden in my book when driving manual.

Ran about 14 laps today and got down to a 1:51.390. That was despite starting the fast lap at a slower pace due to a penalty the lap prior. I was up roughly 3 tenths on my best the following 3 laps, but again that dang chicane killed me each time. :irked: Even though a sub 1:51 is nearly 4 tenths off, I feel it could still be in the books.

I'm not really feeling this one. Don't really like road cars. Put less than an hour into it. But since it's SS tires, it's still better than the Cayman one. After about 40 minutes my best was a 1'52.409, and I wasn't really improving anywhere. Did a few more laps and all of a sudden I did a 1'51.902. There wasn't even a gradual improvement, just half a second faster first sector out of nowhere. I did mess up the left hand kink after the first sector time marker slightly. I ran a bit wide there and missed the apex because I was distracted by seeing my first sector being half a second up, lol. Lost maybe like a tenth there. Good thing I didn't choke and mess up the rest of the lap. It should be safe for gold, I'm done.

A lot of people are saying they're having trouble being consistent at the bus stop. For me, the bus stop seems to be the easiest corners to be consistent at through the entire lap. Every other corner I mess up here or there, but the bus stop I seem to be able to get right every time.

You did a great job. Can you give me some hints. That first left turn kills my time for a couple seconds, and the halfway part, where the consecutive S-turns are. The car is not that stable which makes it tricky to navigate each section in a quick manner.
Can you post you single fastest lap here with sound?, ( on you other video I haven't got any sound, but might be me?)

Second Session…close to 2 hours.
First hour was disgusting I messed it up round after round .
Then I started to test the assist options more seriously and ended up with TC1/counter steering strong and ASM-on .
For my skill-set (PS5-Controller)it feels like a relief .
I guess I have to find a few more tenths to be sure to stay in gold.
My struggle as expected is the bus stop if I not fail entirely I’am always to slow.
As I read and seen before the most important thing is the exit speed for a fast lab time.My is max 145km/h in my good try’s.Problem is after the braking to hold the car stable finding the correct angle for the entry (don’t slide) stay full throttle and aim for the curbs all of it in a blink of an eye.
I hope I get my s..t together and improve here .

If you have trouble under breaking try a tiny bit of throttle input while braking, that straightens the car quite a bit, and for the bus stop, you can eat a whole lot of curb on the entry and try to slide as less as possible, better to enter to slow then to fast, of you look at my video above you can see how much curb you can easly get ( there are multiple camera views) ,

But you are in the gold! , nice job!

Tiny bit of throttle while braking …even more input 🙈😳🤣
but thx I try to check that out 👍

Slowly creaping up to the 50's, several times I was ahead and got to carefull at the busstop or T6 and T7, but I'm sure if I put it the time I can do a sub 51, so I'm going to try my best 😁,

Has anyone noticed a huge amount of oil use on this car?, I had 9xx km on it and it was already worn? Didn't use it for anything else, just for the TT?,

I feel your pain! I've also tried option B; don't brake at all for turn one and go top speed into the shadow realm, get teleported back onto turn one, take rest of lap after turn one seriously and try set a time still good enough for gold.
There is an option C on top .
You can crash in the right wall with proper timing the bounce catapult you in a good line for T1 and the car is stable after the impact .
Pretty sure it is still good enough for gold .
In my rage by multiple T1 fails I tested it many times.
But in the end it feels wrong for me like glitch using (no idea why there is no pen) or just cheating so I decided to give up on that and did it legit. 💪
