My times are going backwards. I was running low 1:42s with a gold time in reach. Now I'm low 1:43s. I'm really inconsistent on the right hander going into the back straight. I either turn to early or to late.
I did have a very close gold time earlier that I messed up coming out of the hairpin. I know it's there but now I'm trying to hard and over driving.

Just a short session today with what I have dubbed…. the Crocadubaru! I can see how it’s fast but I still don’t ‘get’ how people can go 2 seconds faster round this track in that thing!
After huffing and puffing the Crocadubaru managed a 1:40.920. 0.001s slower than my best RSR time 🥴
This was all after an ACC interlude that nearly broke my wrists (11nm is no joke, anyone know any forearm exercises?? 🤪😆).

There goes my prediction. Haha. Fun thought.......in bettering his previous time by 0.129 seconds, the top alien just took Gold away from 2,237 people.
Edit:
Even crazier stat, if the top time drops by just 3 tenths of a second about 50% of the people currently in the Gold time will be dropped to Silver.

I wonder if it's good to know if people are using steering wheel or controller? I guess if someone is having skills to reach 1:40 then maybe not important, but if you are in silver range and asking which car to use then maybe if you get all answers 911 and wheel steering, while BRZ and controller then maybe you got a bit more help? Just thinking 🤔

This morning i woke up and thought, the kid is early to internship, wife still drewling upstairs...., 30 minutes to spare to give the RSR another go, the good news is that i slowly creep up to my own ghost in sector one AND sector 2.....
But the more i practise the last to corners the more incapable i feel
, my third sectors have never been that bad.The worst part is, i had one lap where it was kind of ok,
It's a great time, but i can still hear the fraze from the last TT in my head....

Welp, pretty sure I need to go again, since I am in the gold only by 0,018 seconds 😅 I will try the Huracan again first and if I can't improve enough (I reckon I need to find at least 2 tenths), then gonna try something else. I know BRZ won't be my answer here, never gotten used to that car's odd handling. But I guess 911 RSR and I read here somewhere that RS01 could be okay too 🧐

. I dread to think what I'd be like using VR 
I'm supposed to be away for the next day or two but as there is currently 30cm of snow here I doubt I'll be leaving the house... guess I'll have to find a way of entertaining myself for the day. Still unsure whether to stick with the Crocaduberu, back to the RSR or try @TumeK5 's GT500...

But, if you can do that with alot of other cars you def are a frreaking alien

Yeah, I don't get on with the BRZ either. I never know what gear to be in, there is a clearly pace in it but I'm none the wiser as to how I can go faster. At least with the 911 it alllll makes sense, there is nearly always only one gear that is best and it's just a question of timing when to get on the throttleIt is indeed very close but yet so far away

Also a big help on exit to kill oversteer, a quick change into a higher gear can give you way more traction if the car starts slipping.
I've had a mare today, 45 minutes and not a single satisfying lap. I started with the Crocadubaru (I'm getting tired of typing that now!) and got fed up pretty quickly, switched to the RSR but lost all memory of how to drive that thing quickly.. A few trips into the gravel trap, cones everywhere and no new time on the board!
I had a little epiphany about ABS and tried with weak, what is everyone using? I noticed more braking power but I'm guessing a few of the trail braking corners will get tricky here? I'm still tweaking the load cell brake and getting muscle memory for it so I am not in any way confident with it, maybe I'll stick to ABS Default for now

I use AT, you need to square up the corner a bit more, carry high entry speed and brake late and hard so the car changes down then FLOOR it out. Otherwise they hold a gear too high on entry and you can't rotate.
