Sure, you can use my data. For this fortnight's mid-TT stats I thought I'd investigate the 'Time-Trial-Discussion-thread-reader' advantage. Where TTs do not allow tuning, every driver is on equal footing* with all other drivers, but where tuning is allowed, I hypothesise that there is a benefit to being a regular reader of this thread.
The investigation will take a driver's average finishing position (by percentile to account for different quantum of participants across different TTs; removing the worst one result as an outlier) and compare that to the current position (percentile again) of the driver in the current TT. I will include my own and am hoping to include some other regulars.
Therefore, let me know if I may use your statistics - they are available publicly, but I guess I am processing them, so prefer to have your permission. People I had in mind are below; feel free to add your name if I missed you off.

As someone who has greatly benefitted from reading this thread (if not contributing) for every TT you are free to use me if you want extra peeps (blip). Yeah, I have you on my leaderboard and chasing Blip on every TT, as well as Gomario, Vule and many others, Half sourly on current TT definitely in Alien league... a second faster than my PB....As someone who has greatly benefitted from reading this thread (if not contributing) for every TT you are free to use me if you want extra peeps (blip). There's no way I'd have done the Ring for sure without some tunes here so many thanks to all who have posted!
Also enjoy chasing others times (Vule is currently top of my friends leaderboard, dammit) so anyone is free to add if you want to fill up yours (PSN bliprunner). Have definitely spent more time on TT's in GT7 than daily races!
@half_sourly you may use mine nickname = stewyDepends. On this one I've done around 300 miles to date; will probably do a few more 50-100 mile sessions. Some I did loads, example Nürburgring Nordschleife in the Nissan NSX Type R '02 I must have done around 2,000 miles, but that is a guess. Of course with all the crashing those 2,000 miles yielded about 5 completed laps!
Thanks Ian. What is your GT7 nickname?
Absolutely. It's Speed-Damean

Hahaha, yes yes, you are always very quick and I often use your times as a benchmark, licence tests, circuit experiences, time trials, I was competing with you many times without you even knowing itAlso enjoy chasing others times (Vule is currently top of my friends leaderboard, dammit)

And no, @kowalski__1 and me are not the same guy.😆
If I had known that you'd put that effort into doing such statistics, I would have put a bit more effort into my TTs... 😇

It might, but I'd have to scrape all 19 TTs again and dedicated as I am, that is a bit much. If you did change it to something unique, then going forward it will be fine.Yes, that might well be the case. Changing my nickname now wouldn't help, would it?
