Gave it another try today, lowered my time but not by much, still stuffed up T1 in this lap, can be quicker but like always..........stick the whole damn thing together 🤣🤣

Other thing i was not realy happy about were my ghost, they are ALL gone for this TT??
doesn't realy matter now with a new PB but very weird to have an empty list 🤨🤨

Gave this another go. Ten consecutive laps under 1:27 but sub 1:26.5 seems impossible even when optimal lap suggests 1:26.3xx. So frustrating, yet so addictive. :D
Yes, it absolutely is. I spent some extra time on the delivery van challenge. I thought I came a bit closer to the guy on top of my friends list, which is, let's see... YOU!😆 But you also had improved in the meantime. Anyway:

Somehow I don't think I'm finished yet...

Just as @Dolph Drago I'm running chase cam and find this car and its silhouette totally obscuring any sensible view this way.
Back in the day there was second type of chase cam in GT, with camera placed higher behind the car, that would be useful here.

But anyway, had to resort to bumper view which for me is like running half blind - can't fathom what is going on with the rear of the car. Done pretty much the daily marathon this way and ended up quite effortlessly with time of 1:27.728 that's comfortably inside gold bracket.

Will probably go for another bumper cam session before the end of this TT to try to improve a bit, but other than that, I'm good.

Finally got it! Took a break, came back, tried something a little different and instantly got under 1:26.5. Kept pushing and got down to 1:26.349. I think I'm done. My wrists are sore from throwing this brick around. I don't think I can push it any faster.

Another day, another daily marathon for the ticket and pushing for a 1:26. It’s been working ok so far as another good ticket and a new PB. Too bad it’s the last for the week.
In case anyone was wondering where the track limits of the last turn were, it’s 1 pixel inside of this………….

A terrible time to learn it as it resulted in this……….

I was sooooooo close to rage quitting when I saw how I didn’t even go off the curbing. Took a lot of deep breaths and gave it 1 more lap. I’d say it paid off. Good place to finish for this one as optimal was only 0.09 faster.

This time trial has made me think waay more than any of the others. It’s become an unsolvable enigma for me and I now admit I need the community’s help to resolve the biggest mystery of driving this van once and for all…

Is it pronounced “Alfard”, “Alp Hard” or “Alfa Are Dee” ?
This video may help: (first 15 seconds)

I'm fairly sure the giant robot inspired the van. If you squint, you can even see some shared styling cues...

Additional Fun Fact: My GTPlanet user name is slightly easier to pronounce.
