Did my first test with 10 laps.

I really enjoy that car, and have nothing against this track, so it will be a much more pleasant experience than the previous TT.

Lot of learning ahead, but my lap times got better and better, I need to engrave my visual cues, breaking points, ways to pass turns and so on, but I think silver is possible. Gold will need a lot of work, wait and see...

When you access the TT, you receive a ticket with the amount and it says how much, the time obtained and the position you stayed in

**** those sausages! I hate Gardens. It feels awkward from the first turn and I just can't find a good flow. The mountain on the background looks spectacular in VR but other than that it feels like driving around a prison. There's only one track I hate more and that's Gardens Reverse.

The Radical feels alright though. Short shifting at ~6000 rpm seems optimal. PB 1:39.468 1.39.230 1.39.114

Right I'm into gold again, so far so good. I already hate the lumps on the apex of that first sector chicane... total lap destroyers. I really need to learn to consistently hit those cleanly... I'm losing easy 1 second there I feel. The rest of the lap is a lovely technical section and the car is massively over tyred it's almost impossible to slide.

However... is anyone else getting a game crash when exiting the TT? I've had it twice in a row now.

Earlier today i had no problems but now i'm getting booted out of game right after looking at lap times,twice in a row.

Had a go at the new TT tonight, I loves me some Radical, I could do without DTG’s chicane though lol.

I ended up beating this lap by .2 later on, but I forgot to save that one.

After doing about 5 laps tonight I realized I don’t know this track at all! Lol.
1:41.0. Guess I’ll load a ghost next time and follow it around to learn the track. Should be a fun one except for the sausages.

Ran abut 10 laps. 1:42.5 and getting better. I really like this track. It just seems to flow for me. The Radical is great as well. Slippery, but controllable. Powersliding through turn 1 is a lot of fun.

I have a confession - made a mistake with the time I posted yesterday (found out doing a few quick laps lunchtime today!) - my bronze wasn't 1;42.5xx it was 1;46.5xx, big difference. 1:42.5xx would have been silver, which looks like it may elude me yet again..... 🤣
Good news is doing 5 laps today I got down to 1:46.0xx, half a second gained! Lovely driving this car around this track 👍

Did 9 laps this morning (9 because it is the max number of laps you can see on one screen at the recap), improved a bit, not silver yet.

New optimal far from silver. WIP

Tried to ride the sausages each time today (while yesterday I stayed outside). Not efficient each time but when it's good, the time is improved. Got to not lose the gains in the following corner.

ok, a few km's into the new challange,

What have i learned so far......

1 NEVER hugg the inside of T1 to long, be on the tarmac before the grass ends otherwise you will die....

2 NEVER have the salami on any other point then exactly between the tires on T2/3/4 otherwise you will die.....

3 NEVER not use the shortshift shenanigan action...., otherwise the gearbox will die.......

4 NEVER asume that T7 and T8 feel natural.... they don't....you will die

5 NEVER brake hard before the SupaTrupaDupaQuadripplerighthander... you will die....


I have so much trouble placing the car into T3 on pad, not even funny
after to short sessions, this is by far all ready the most restarted TT for me, and i think i made the most airmiles since GT7 came out .....but i like it!
and i'm after a 39, that must be doable with 40.2 after 2 short frustrating restart sessions....

1'40'734 with DS4 with automatic transmission. Not better with G29 in manuel. I hate the raised vibrators on this circuit, especially at the chicane!!!!

Yes, the sausages are a pain. When I watch the replays of the guys on top of the leaderboard, I ask myself: why are they not catapulted into the air, like I am? Why don't they get a track limit penalty, like I do? Well, back to practice...

Yep, I am sure silver and gold are reachable even in AT.

Not far from silver myself after less than 20 laps, I am confident I'll get to silver. Not sure for gold though.

Hardly getting consistent lap times is difficult when those damn sausages are ending more laps than I can finish. Going over both two is crucial for a good time but it gets super frustrating when the Radical goes airborne every time you even think of touching one of them.

I agree, experiencing same thing. At least in this TT it is nice that penalty is served before going on acceleration for new lap, so next attempt is not ruined like they had in some previous where serving penalty ruined start of next lap too...

You basically have to straddle them near perfectly, to not get a pen, not have the car kick around, or not have them force the rear to slip, it’s very very frustrating. I wish after all these years they’d just make the track limits 2 wheels inside the sausages for this particular chicane.
