1'40'734 with DS4 with automatic transmission. Not better with G29 in manuel. I hate the raised vibrators on this circuit, especially at the chicane!!!!

Petition to rename the sausage kerbs on this track 'raised vibrators'! Sausages are one of my favourite foods and the idea that the pain of repeatedly going over these RAISED VIBRATORS may give me irreversible trauma, I'd like that trauma not to be associated with the most delicious of food stuffs...

In summary, these raised vibrators are the WURST!!

After 1.31 update there is a new bug intruduced for us who use controller, I am on Dualsense, when one is pressing brake or acceleration and holding it pressed "half" way down, it just drops all the way for no reason randomly. I know bug report is a bit off topic here but for some reasons I experience it here on TT now while I have not experienced it on example Sardegna money gring a day or two before so I just wonder if same thing is happening to more of you?

Had 20-mins to play this morning and decided to jump into the TT without watching any of the videos. It became very apparent that I honestly do not remember this track at all lol. It felt like a brand new track. My times reflect that currently as well! I dont remember the time but I think I was at 5.17% after ~12-13 laps (I think I shaved about 6-7 seconds from first couple laps lol). I'll watch some guides today and see what I can do in the morning (because I have lame ass adulting things to do after work like mow the lawn and cut my dogs hair because he's old af and hates everyone that isn't me at this point lol) Going to be a slog trying to get gold I can already tell - then again last TT was my first gold (and BY FAR my best finish @ 1,200/~140k participants)

It just goes to show, PD put out a half assed, unfinished game to use as a test bed for future installments solely focused on micro-transactions and empty promises. Unacceptable.

I have a very strong feeling this TT is just a lottery on whether the infamous kerbs will let you survive a possible barrel roll siege while on a good lap or not... not very enjoyable

Anyway, I'll stop at 1:38.218 for now. Just enough to be seen on the pre-entry top 8 leaderboard.

I saw you posted a decent time @2Quickrides so I just logged in to beat it 😶

Im enjoying this one, it’s a fun car to chuck around! I don’t think I’ll get anywhere near the fast guys (1:38.218 on day two? Behave @jontikis !!!) but it’ll be fun to push this car. Whilst I hate the chicken a la raised vibrators I will say they are quite early in the lap, everything before it is quite easy to be consistent so mounting those lumpy bastards and launching yourself across the Adriatic Sea isn’t quite as upsetting as it could be!

Well done to PD for at least matching the right tyre to the right car, even if you couldn’t match the right car to the right (kerb) track.. Anyone else having a blast going sideways in this thing? Not sure if it’s fast but I’ve had some epic powerslides so far! 🤣

Yeah, the chicken sausage is really annoying. I mean, really really annoying. I mean, really, really, really...err... I think you'll get it.😆 Restarting a dozen times to go clean through the chicane once, only to have forgotten in the meantime how to drive the rest of the lap... no, not that entertaining. And damn, how much fun could it be with that funny car...

Got 1:40.0 so far... I guess I need to practice a bit more that double shift because I guess I do it too slowly so I don't gain anything, but start losing time. We shall see how much I can improve, I made few mistakes in this lap so I assume i can get high 1:39 hopefully. Haven't decorated car like some of you did.
Whoever can contribute with advices how to get better time, please be my guest.

For the double shift, I double tap the shifter with about a quarter second gap in between. That works every time for me.

I see some descent times filling my leaderboard, I had a short session but NOTHING worked for me, so I'll try tomorrow again 🤣

Weird one this. As others have said, so much of a good lap time depends on getting through the Chicken unscathed and without penalty. Anyway, here is my best effort so far.

1:39.6. I won't be coming back to this one unless one of my accounts is in jeopardy. Why you ask? Is it the car? No, the car is pretty fun. Is it the track? Na, the track is cool too (other than the sausages but manageable). It's the stupid double shifting. Sometimes it works, usually it doesn't. Doesn't seem to matter if I let off the gas or what.

I hate the fact that tenths are being thrown away for some RNG (RNG - video game luck (or 'unluck')). Can be on a new fast lap, double shift doesn't work and there it goes. So so so dumb. Bummer, too, because this combo is otherwise pretty fun.

So yeah. I love me some Radical but might be a bit grumpy with this TT. In my opinion the RH are too grippy, we need to drop down to Sports tires to give this thing some loose rear action. And the track. I can find my way around but it just seems like this track was designed by someone who actually hates driving. So many awkward corners and just waiting and lottery lines. I've got a 39.8 so should be steady for gold from here, but that's as much down to my love of the car as much as anything. And for you sausage haters, that time was done without straddling the sausages in the chicane so I've probably got another 6 or 7 tenths if I fix that and get it right.

Edit: I have been informed that being sober enough to not squint at the screen helps. I don't know if I trust that though.

Between this and the car’s exaggerated reaction to the curbing and bumps almost seeming random, it’s a very frustrating TT for sure. I have definitely restarted more times than I’ve completed laps because when it does go wrong it’s always bad Fast & Furious special effects wrong.
