Car | Time | Note |

RX-VISSION | 51.636 | Very nice to drive. Optimal is in the 51.4s |
GR Supra Concept | 51.642 | META |
Viper SRT | 51.670 | Totally surprised! It drives a bit weird, but can turn out an awesome time if done right |
R8 LMS Evo '19 | 51.718 | Rotates really well. A bit scary |
Ford GT '18 | 51.744 | Weird gearing. Some corners need lower gear than normal |
458 Italia | 51.800 | A bit oversteery, but rotate very nicely |
Genesis | 51.801 | Need to short shift |
Corvette C7 | 51.821 | Very decent, careful of the low-end grunt |
M6 | 51.839 | Rotate very nicely on high speed corner |
AMG GT3 '16 | 51.840 | Very neutral and unremarkable |
Huracan | 51.860 | Rotates well. Hates bumps |
GT-R GT500 '99 | 51.935 | Short shift at 6k RPM |

Supra GT500 '97 | 51.969 | Weird gearing |

I shaved another 20ms and am now sitting at 52.336 with an optimal jus below the (current) gold.
Reviewing my replay I see that I'm leaving lot of track at my side approaching quite each and every turn.
I can justify the approat to the hairpin, where I missed the breaking point, but for all rest I have to pay more attention to it!
Also need to be more fluid in T1+T2. I see Mistah having a U line, where I'm more like \_/
I'd say that with all the junk I put in this lap 52.336 looks quite a fast time. Hopefully if I can make my feet and arms onboard with the proposed strategy I can close the gold gap.
I'm happy I've done it with the 911. I'm hopefully going back in love with it.
I agree, that's probably exactly here where I'm losing the most of time.Aside from the obvious hairpin approach. The banked right after that...You should be able to apply full power (with the 911) right at or even before the 1st yellow marking (the 3 yellow strips) for the exit. Adjust your braking and turn in so you can do that. Very important to keep the throttle pinned to the floor for that corner.
Thanks, I'll give it a try having the yellow marking as a target.Aside from the obvious hairpin approach. Good luck, think you can get in the 0:51.000 club? I'm in a low 0'53.000 time. Got any good replays I can look at?Thanks, I'll give it a try having the yellow marking as a target.
That turn is also a sort of mind game for me. I noticed couple of time my brain indicating full throttle, do or die, and my foot negotiating it.
If I'm not even able to have my foot hear to me, how in the world am I expecting my two doughters to do it?!? #dadrant
I'm using Mystah + TheKie25 (and others, but these two are the main) to learn offline, @Evilmuffin and @Dolph Drago had good ones couple of posts agoGood luck, think you can get in the 0:51.000 club? I'm in a low 0'53.000 time. Got any good replays I can look at?
Another thing you can do is search the Showcase for time trial replays using the car you are interested in. If you add their replay to your collection you can then chase their ghost. Also once it is in a collection you can easily replay their replay so you can study and learn the lines they take, the speed, gear etc.Good luck, think you can get in the 0:51.000 club? For the RCZ, I only did 6-7 laps with it, in the corners especially the medium-slow ones, to me the rotation felt quick and is fairly stable. I have not really paid attention to the speed but on the straights it's probably not be the fastest, which I think has been an issue with this car ever since it got nerfed a long time ago. For the M6, its great in the fast corners. The medium-slow ones though is where I find it a bit lazy to turn. Ended up in the gravel and the grass many many times over the course of 12 or so laps with the M6.Sure thing...I should have time later to test it. If not...tonight.
@AshenGraey
How's the speed with the RCZ? For me the BRZ feels the quickest in all the corners, but I just sit and watch the #1 supra disappears into the distance in sector 2 on the straight and the final 2 bends.
Kinda interesting with the M6, I actually finds it rotate pretty well....I on the other hand, had a lot of problem trying to get the 911 to turn.
Ok, thank you. I'll write it down. I'm gonna work on this tonight and tomorrow, wish me luck!Another thing you can do is search the Showcase for time trial replays using the car you are interested in. If you are 53 now then look for a replay that is around 52.5 and also 52. Chase the slowest first and when you can match that, change the ghost and chase the faster. Sometimes it is better chasing a ghost that is within 1/2s to 1s ahead of you rather than an alien that is totally out of reach..
EDIT: I just shared my 51.936s time. Search for the tag "normsk".
If it helps....there is a slightly discolored patch on the curb you can use as the brake marker. It is a bit hard to see on this pic, but pretty obvious when you are in the game. Thanks, I'll give it a try having the yellow marking as a target.

Thank you for slowing by that thousandth at the end, I appreciate it. Side note, even this late I've dropped 8 places from 24th since Friday. Fast times!P35
For me , on DualSense, I am happy as a world!!!
I still need to pinch myself...I am faster than Finnish guy... That... Never... Happened... Before... 😳
And sorry to @Dan_Tes too, but still 1-2 days left, let's see how this will end.

I think you’re right. I spent hours lapping the supra to get a 51.75, hopped on the 911 and got a 51.5 within 10 laps.My objective for these TT events is to try for gold using a car that is comfortable to drive. Not always the car that is dominating the leader boards. I used the '18 Supra in various other races but the exits of the hairpin and Banky Boy were too sensitive on the throttle and I would spin out whenever trying to get a strong exit.
The car that was easiest to drive while still able to achieve Gold for me was the new '20 AMG Mercedes, no problems on the exits and fast enough through the sweepers.
Brooooo 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 super fast time my man! I took lots of time out to try and breach that stupid 31.9 barrier, aaaaand failed. Well played well played and @2Quickrides i concede defeat!P35

Guess I had to win one eventually!@2Quickrides i concede defeat!
This is exactly why I tried a much slower car first to try to make it more fun. Tired of the same old metas. And the Supra has the worst cockpit view of any of them!Had a quick go on the new one, not my favourite track or layout so might be a bit of a grind. Familiar Gr.3 cars mean it’ll be difficult to set a competitive time I guess! Hoping the new TT brings something more interesting 🤓
Agreed....until I tried the Citroen GR3. A tank would have a better visibility than this car.The Supra has the worst cockpit view of any of them!
Thank you for this tip, I had been using one of the shadow lines but the dark patch on the curb works way better. Helps me take the bank more consistently. If it helps....there is a slightly discolored patch on the curb you can use as the brake marker. This is what is keeping me from getting VR, I love that car but no way can I drive it in cockpit viewAgreed....until I tried the Citroen GR3. A tank would have a better visibility than this car.
