This is so funny, I tried for 30 minutes on Spa and I faild miserabely 🤣, my first stint I'm far of gold, I have no idea how everybody is flying there its like i forgot how to drive??🤣🤣
I can tell you one thing..... my now 2 days left to get my time in ain't going to be good 🤣🤣
TCS 01234 Inters.....wets.... tried it all 🤣🤣

How is that anyway? I've never tried playing like that using the motion of the controller?
Well honestly it obviously worked very good for BB TT. However when it's fast car/track combo it has its flaws. When you have full angle on steering wheel, it just start shaking and you can't make equally good turn like with real wheel.

It's in game settings so everyone can try, but it's like with trying anything else, if you haven't been skiing for example, you will most likely not beat record on first try, but if you practice a lot then you might do that.

I've tried it before but I just feel awkward with it, like it's a wheel without a stand and pedals. Haven't done much research on it, but now that I think about it, it's likely less nerfed than the D-Pad and Analog Stick when it comes to it's steering radius.
Well it's there in settings and everyone can try it. However I am often pointing it out, it's not perfect, especially fast car/track combo, steering gets jerky/shaky, and like with everything else in life, it takes some practice until one can master it.

Interim Results for TT35 at Autodrome Lago Maggiore | West End in Gr.3
16th! I better make some time and hop in a faster car. RCZ clearly won't cut it.
Bad enough Barareklam and AE-Drifting dropped me 2 spots at BB on the last day. Lol
Thanks again @half_sourly, awesome statting! I am on a wheel by the way 😁. Is there some sort of crown or something that GTP can issue you with as I feel with all this hard work you put in you are officially GTP royalty!

Congratulations again @Barareklam, where did you place exactly for that TT? Fastest Swede on the (GT) Planet!! I came 3rd fastest out of UK based drivers which is pretty awesome!
At the very least they should gift him a Premium membership or something.........though no idea what that gets. Lol.

Had to be top Swede! To set a time with a controller that was that close to DJOllie with his wheel and VR (HUGE visual advantage, if it doesn't make you sick. Lol) is insane! Just a question, do the aliens lend you a probe when you hang out with them or did you have to bring your own?
Nice! I tied my Alphard record of fastest Canadian, 3rd in North America.

Mmmmmmh, spa tt is actually more enjoyable than expected.
The wet track is not that intrusive to make the experience dramatic. Well done pd.

I myself not that well done by now, sitting somewhere at 106.5%

I think I will adjust for silver, but will not scrape too much more.
There is a reason why Spa is called the university of driving, isn't it?!?

Managed to put in some lap times at the Lago TT. Was searching for over half a second on my PB but I could only manage to shave a little over 2/10. It is an improvement but not quite the target I was going for. My time now is 51.7xx with my optimal at 51.541. Best laps posted with 911. Will try some more this weekend because I'm having some consistency issues. I would nail the first sector and then bin in the last sector or vice versa.

By the way, I tried the Supra that I see just about everyone on the leaderboard using but for the life of me I could not get that car in the sub 52s even after driving it for nearly 40 laps....by contrast, I jumped in the 911 and my first lap was already 51.9

I'm not necessarily a fan of wet tracks so wasn't overly excited about the new TT, but for some reason this combo suits me...at least at the moment. Now watch me not be able to match my time again. If not for a horrendous sector 1 (as you can see below), I would have been low 2:39's on my fast lap. What may be most surprising was my daily mileage prize today!

Yeah I have no idea how the Supra is better for so many people, it was immediately clear the 911 was by far the best one for me.

As far as the time, I was losing a lot more time in that last banked turn than I realized. I had focused so much on the earlier parts of the track because that banked turn is “easy” and i thought I was consistently doing it “pretty good” but then I realized how much a good launch out of there can matter all the way to the finish line and once I did that I was able to get well into the 51’s

man i didn't want to get up early cause i need my sleep for my drive to france, but had to fit in an extra 30 minutes for understranding the Spa TT, last 2 laps of the stint were a little better but far of a steady lap.
there is so much time time find during the lap, but god.... some much time to loose to

First lap into the 40's, this wil prob stay for gold about 30 minutes :lol::lol:
from now on we build when i have the time..... and it's not much :(

There’s no doubt that being part of this chat and of the @half_sourly leaderboard has pushed me to be better. I’ve never scored a gold prior to this and now got gold in two of the last three TT’s. (just barely both times - lol)
Great community.

Totally agree. Without the board I would have been happy with silver, but now there's that urge to not end up at the bottom of the board :D ... yesterday I finally achieved a 51.945 in Lago Maggiore with the RX-Vision GT3. I was so happy to finally be able to move on with my life, only to realise that the optimal time was actually almost two tenths faster, so I guess the chapter is not closed for me yet :)

BTW, an early look at the stats for Spa show that the gold club for this one will be a lot more exclusive.
