From 1:15,250 down to the 14's now, aiming for silver, maybe gold is doable, too early to say.

Edit.

Managed to shave off some time, but gold is so far away:

Edit.

@Pesselles "For gold, we (you and I) should gain 1 second... :odd:"

I know, NOS would do the trick. 😂

Fast time in a slow car looks far less impressive once the type of car used is removed  Last I checked I was 3rd fastest RCZ at least. Lol.

And no @half_sourly, I am not requesting that be added. Lol. You do way more than too much already! Thank you again and again for your time. It is greatly appreciated as always.

Normally road cars and a short circuit make sure a good TT, but this is just terrible. The car is on skates and only wants to go in a straight line.

I'm sure there is a combo of assists out there that will make it an easy gold, similar to the Mustang on Laguna Seca

Good, because the answer would be a short one!

You're welcome. It makes for a great distraction from real work.

CSA Strong, ASM on and TC2 makes for an easy 1:14:00 flat. Highly recommended if you want to just get a quick silver medal

My gold medal had been stolen from me 🤣🤣 and not for long because I took it back with a time of 1'14'052 with an optimal time of 1'13'970

That's a great achivement Dude, I've tried to follow you but you're really too fast for me.

The circuit is 3.3 kms long and I'm 3 seconds behind the WR...
I lose 1 second per kilometer

The first two corners after the start are critical. Brake into the first but then it’s gentle throttle control in a sweeping arc which I keep in 3rd gear all the way through it (911).

In the left handed, brake hard in a straight line and then continue to trail brake shifting down to 3rd. I give a little bit of gas before stabbing the brake and immediately easing off to say 50% and trail braking into the right handed, down shifting to 1st.

As you line up, moderately apply throttle, too hard and you’ll stop spin, and has it to the bottom on the hill.

It’s been mentioned above, but brake just before the dark spot on the curb for the next right hander, then turn over the inside curb.

The rest is obvious.

EDIT.

I shared my replay. Search the showcase with tag “Normsk”. Also “gtp”.

I also put my GB run on YouTube so you can review it. There are three angles. I race with the hood view.

GT7 | Lago Maggiore TT | 911RSR GOLD time

Hey, I got good news, I did 6-7 more laps last night, and improved down to a 0'52.390!! I wish I could have put more work in to get gold, but...it is what it is. I got 1M for silver, so. That's good for me!

Vipers are my favorite car so I should love this TT. I'm not a fan of the track but do have a lot of lobby time on it. All though I do have concerns. How does a Aero package car BOP out with a wingless car? Granted, the game can do set to turn the Aero balance to that of a a wingless car. But, I feel that there would still be a background component that would improve the aero car's time based on handling improvements. Then again, that can be balanced out by the additional drag of the aero package as well. 🤷‍♀️

On a personal note, anything except weak abs and 2 or less TC is unsportsmanlike conduct in my belief.

Settings:
ABS- Weak
TC-1
Automatic transmission
Using standard PS4 controller
Current time: 1:17.163 (non aero car)

Haven't checked the Spa TT leaderboard in a while and what a surprise it was for me when I saw that my gold time of 2:40.15 is not gold anymore lol
Things got even more worrisome for me when after I went back to try and improve my time I could barely get into mid 42s 😳
Had to grind for some time and find my pace again with this tricky car/track combo. 150km later I managed to set a 2:39.4 time. Didn't think I will be able to get there with the dualsense! Feeling quite happy about it.
