I was sitting at 1:14.012 but i figured i better try and improve,so, i did.

I cannot say I agree. I felt GT Sport had more issues in this area.

LORD SIR JEDDAH causing times to tumble, had to have another go to secure safety. TC1 with pad.

The hardest corner seems to be the right hand kink and carrying speed on that straight can make or break everything.

Just a 1:14.1 for me. But of a downfall from the Spa event which was gold from the first session.

I found a lot of pace with ABS normal. But otherwise I’m nowhere.

Just done a 1:12.679 so I beat my optimum from the first session this morning. Optimim was a tantalising 1:12.488 though... I think I'll be putting some miles into this one.

Finally got some free time to check out the new time trail and found out I'd been booted from gold at Spa - was never very good at driving in the rain, so no surprises, but couldn't let it slide.

About 300km later, something clicked and I hit 2:39.770 - back in gold, and now I can forget all the wet skills again.

Vipers are my favorite car so I should love this TT. I'm not a fan of the track but do have a lot of lobby time on it. All though I do have concerns. How does a Aero package car BOP out with a wingless car? Granted, the game can do set to turn the Aero balance to that of a a wingless car. But, I feel that there would still be a background component that would improve the aero car's time based on handling improvements. Then again, that can be balanced out by the additional drag of the aero package as well. 🤷‍♀️

On a personal note, anything except weak abs and 2 or less TC is unsportsmanlike conduct in my belief.

Settings:
ABS- Weak
TC-1
Automatic transmission
Using standard PS4 controller
Current time: 1:17.163 (non aero car)

Anything above TC 0 and/or using Counter Steer is cheating and should be forbidden in TT and also GT1 Races. CSA should be disabled for A+ or GT1 races as a minimum.

Still not gold but at least it’s a very safe silver. Gold might actually be attainable as long as Jeddah doesn’t move it too much.

Looks like "The Jedi" has lowered it again by .088 ...1:13.928.

Looks like there's some early competition in the BM TT which is really pushing Jeddah to crush dreams. The only consolation is that at least it's unlikely that the times will tumble towards the end... ( hopefully )

This morning, I've improved my PB at 1:14.496 and guess what? I still need 1 second to gold BMB TT !!!

Hi guys,

As many of you I got a bit discouraged by the gold improvements over the last 24 hours. Fastest time is crazy quick, and honestly I dont know where I am losing time... pretty sure it is in all 3 sectors.
I believe gold is out of reach for me... I did what I deemed to be a descent lap on Monday in 2:40:318 , which got me into gold region, but yesterday, was out again. I tried to improve putting 350km but couldnt get closer than a sec from my PB.
I have put in total more than 1,000 km in trying, but that one looks out of reach to me. I will try again, but I spend most time spinning / collecting time penalties rather than finishing laps.
Usually, on the other TTs, I only need several laps (meaning less than 50) to get the gold but, here I really dont get the grip on the track. I must have finished around 5% of all the laps I tried yesterday, always spinning somewhere on the track or getting a penalty for track limits. The gaps are huge... there was one whole sec between 1st and 5th last time I checked.

I will give it another try today, to see if yesterday was a bad day or if that is my "normal" pace.

I ll be honest, reading here that other have similar difficulties as I do makes me feel less lonely

Quick update on my times at Spa:
I went back in for another 150 km without improving, but getting closer to my PB.
Took a short break while my second half gave me 10 min before shutting the whole thing down. Strangely enough, first lap improved my PB to 2:40:06x. Second lap, I was gaining another .5 sec at the end of T2 before losing it all at Paul Frere turn exit as I slided through and had no speed for Blanchimont. I was just matching my PB before the bus stop chicane, and then suddenly got an awesome exit from the chicane and nailed a 2:39:73X. So optimum could be somewhere close 2:39:3XX had I not lost it midway through the track, but I am happy with my time as I am back in gold region. Let's see if that will last, but I have seen no improvement in Fastest time so far, so I have hope


Let's have a look at the new TT now, and see what I can do there

Please don't scare us like this. For a moment I thought gold time tumbled down to the 1:13.5 or something 🤣 It is still at 1:13.9s, so you are only 1/2 a second away. Get 2 corners right and you are there

TT loaded late yesterday so got around to it this morning. 100-miles and I called it quits thinking I was over a second off gold, thinking it was high 12’s. Well less than 0.2 off pace and would have kept going if I knew that lol

Moved up to B/S rating! But now I’m the slow guy in the race 😂. Went from starting P2-P6 when a C and started race P13! But did finish P11 (after I got punted T1 of Daytona on first lap)

Yeah, you're right (as usual) 👍 But 0.5 sec isn't enough for a safe yellow medal (aliens are among us ^^). My ambition is to gain another second and score a final 1:13.5xx.

To be very honest, I had an "almost-perfect-last-corner" (the one before the banking) and I immediately gained 0.5 sec! This corner is the secret for a golded score. This morning, I've worked on this part on the CE with the Mustang (golded a sweet 21.001). Sadly, I don't have stripes on my Viper but training and ghosts should help.

No stripes yet, but I consider it 🤣, but right now you have better time than me, I'm ca ,350 behind you on BMB, I think I improved down to 1:14,836 or something last night, from ,88x.😵‍💫 😃

But I have put aero parts on it, so it looks faster than standard, haven't helped that much though. 😂

A 1:13.826. Messing around with the TC and Countersteering stettings on PS5 controller found me well over half a second.

Another slight improvement on BMB at 1:14.393. When you are chased by a Norwegian, you are really motivated to run AS FAST AS possible
Still some errors here and there and I'm still far from gold. I'll upload a ghost to gain the latest 0.9 sec.
I'm still in TC2 because at 1, Mamy Viper is too "soap" for me. Clearly, the last corner is the key for a good score here.
