I already knew this bug, but I could never access it.
Please, could you do a 'step by step' on how to do this?
I'm on PS4 Pro, by the way.
This video explains it. Just disable any song (triangle) and then pick it for the music replay. Whatever camera is used in the start will stick for the whole replay. For time.trials you have to exit/restart until you get lucky and start in the camera you want. For race replays you can switch cars until you get it !
Sorry for taking so long to respond. Haven't been ok here for the whole week, basically

Impossible to keep up with all the posts here… so I won’t try! Work and travel have kicked me in the butt this week so barely any seat time. Collected my Cr.2M from Lago yesterday morning and ran a handful of laps at Daytona for the Porsche eSports event just to get a time on the board.

Had another hour on that event this evening and managed something a little more representative, but there’s another 0.5 in there at least so will try and find some time to run again before the event ends on Sunday evening.

In other news, I need to find around 0.4 to get back into gold at Spa.

Once I’ve done those two, I’ll slap some stripes on a Viper and try the new event on a track I don’t think I’ve even seen before 😂!

Don’t know how some of you are finding time to do daily races as well…! 😵‍💫
 
Down to a 1:13.6 with CSA on strong. I assume it’s that which helped, might be placebo though.

Still not finding consistency through T1. And the final corner I seem to be drifting through and have a 50/50 on hitting wall on exit.

Probably not enough for Gold, but I’m sure it’s possible.
Same :lol: It's crazy how much the last corner affects the lap, and it's the hardest one to nail perfectly for me.
I'm not sure how others are doing it, and I don't specifically recall right now how the WR lap takes the last turn. I usually am in third gear but have to lift the throttle a bit to angle the car toward the apex, when I lift I then upshift to 4th for the exit. The car seems much more stable and controllable so you don't hit the wall or oversteer.

Never forget the Viper is always trying to kill you :lol:
 
Had a crack with the Viper at BMB. That thing does NOT like to brake. Feels like you have to send in a postal application for permission to apply the brakes, a week in advance, only for them to reply a day late delivered abruptly by Barry R.

Currently sitting on a 1:15 flat. Need to learn this car and track better...

Secondly at BMB, I decided to add stripes to the Viper for a classic look. I think you'll agree, the car looks great in the blue and white.

As expected, I was faster with the stripes, so I think this proves our theory. Just how much faster? How about over 0.6 seconds! Good enough for Gold, currently. However, be weary of Jeddah_Racing as he is sans stripes, so the WR could drop more.

Wow great achievement, congrats! That's exactly what I try to achieve: 1:13.5xx

I'll share my replay on my profile later when I get home, if you want a slower ghost to chase than the WR. You should just be able to pull it from my profile.

  • the daily roulette killed me with a ⭐⭐⭐ ticket and a Cr. 5.000 reward :yuck:

Anyone playing on DS4 have any tips on how to quell the snap oversteer in the Red Bull please?

It's a ****ing joke how incosistent it is on pad, other than Pouhon where you get a weird does of oversteer on exit.

There's just no way you can replicate the inputs of wheel and pedals here. Over four seconds off is hilarious.
 
“Waking up before dawn every morning this week prob not good, def going to sleep in Saturday!” Cue dog waking me up 3:45… but I went back to bed, success! Cue my parents dog (doggie-sitting) waking me up 4:55… screw it let’s game!

Decided to spend my focus on BMB and boom! 0.551 improvement! Someone made a mean looking red ACR livery (with stripes of course!) and it single-handedly was responsible for at least 0.4-seconds. Being such a short course I can’t see them improving more than 0.2-seconds, which should get me gold! Uploaded ghost “Saargasm” tag and replay below!

Debating if I want to try an relearn Spa to find that 0.4xx improvement but I don’t know if I want that frustration this morning. Probably will do some daily’s instead since I’ve completed 25 so-far, so half way to my first platinum trophy!

How??? I tried yesterday after reading someone’s comment about CS Strong and it’s like “anti-turn” is engaged!! Could not get it to rotate at all with strong or weak so just went back to TC1 & ASM

As that chick who pops up on the Licenses and CE’s says, “Take a deep breath” you got this! That and if you take a glean at the GTP leaderboards, plenty on here are on pad getting absolutely bonker times on Spa. But don’t get to close unless you want to be probed on the mothership 👽🛸🛸

My advice is to not rely too much on lower gears when exiting the corner and be gentle with the throttle. I help to rotate the car with lower gears only if the car feels understeer'y.
With the Pouhon it's normal, the car can start oversteering around 2nd apex, you can fix it with a slight lift or by going into 5th gear after the 1st apex.

All in all remember that good exit is way more important than fast entry, especially with wet conditions. Try good-old "slow in, fast out"

39.2 is a very strong result! You actually can control the rate how fast/slow the wheels are turned. Go into controller settings and experiment with controller steering sensitivity slider. Mine is set at 2
