First visit at Blue Moon Bay and getting familiar with the track (resembles Daytona in shape).
Viper is quite a handful with X as gas input, but I'm trying to fight it.

Safely into silver but quite away from gold still (even optimal is outside).
Kinda like this American combo, so I'll return here for sure as I feel improvement is possible.

This TT is a little silly. Extremely easy to gold, but your ability to get a truly elite time are dependent on a run in from a live lap (not the first lap as it starts you at a low speed) and being able to wall ride without a penalty.

The run in is worth 0.250 seconds, and the wall ride is worth 0.500.

I'm feeling safe on a 55.175.

Edit: wall riding seems easier on the controller than the wheel. No TC needed as long as you don't drop below 5th gear

With the amount of downforce on this lovely car, I just wish it was a longer circuit! Call me crazy but I feel like the OG Tomahawk would have been great here.
Watched Jeddah’s lap couple times and I felt this has been one of the easiest TT’s thus far landing 55.139 after maybe 20 laps or so. Did about 10-15 more but couldn’t improve more. I’d play “how low can I go” but I’ve been enjoying daily’s and have 19-more races until platinum (0-10 top 5 finishes since becoming B rated driver) View attachment 1277248View attachment 1277249View attachment 1277250
That livery is amazing.

Has anyone compared last banked turn on HSR between wheel and controller? Wondering if it is the same as on Broad Bean where it was impossible to get T1 on controller as sharp as on the wheel.

I guess this is OK for the first day. Turn 2 (the tricky left hander) is a win or lose corner, all the others I can nail identically every lap, but this one, oh... It's 3 tenths per lap easily. If I go OK, it's a 22.4, 22.5, but if I nail it, it's 22.2 first sector. And I rarely nail it :D

I actually sold my tHrusty T300RS tonight after this stint, so I'm without my driving gear for the next week or so, until the Fanatec stuff arrives, so improvement for this TT will wait a bit :)

Wow, that's an impressive score!!
Damned, here are 5 tenths I can gain on this damned 2nd turn. I'm mostly at 22.7 - 22.9 on the 1st sector because I must brake too much and too early. I'll work and improve this point tomorrow.

PD should reset the TT and fix wallriding or change the track entirely, this is annoying as hell!
They did something similar for the Porsche eSports rally TT. Completely wiped everyone's time and implemented a pretty heavy penalty for the slightest contact with a barrier. I personally haven't watched many other's replays to see where they're doing it, but a few here have mentioned it.

They will, as usual. At this point I'm all for banning anyone that attempts to wall ride. Who goes into these things, thinking hey, the first thing I'm going to do is see if there is anyway to cheat? There's a word for it, but I'm pretty sure it's against the forum rules. Maybe I should state it and see, if I can get away with it anyway.

I wish we have a damage model like beamng lol, then let them wallride as they wish

Feels dirty with the basically wall ride but i snuck into the 54.8s on High Speed Ring (did it in a live stream if anyone wants to see, video guide maybe tomorrow) on the same stream I also improved slightly in the Viper. Bit frustrating as I'm on a 1:12.6 and optimum has been several times a 1:12.3. Briefly back in the top 100. Really thought I'd be top 30 on this one... guess I needed some humble pie!

Felt the controversy warranted some discussion so made a very quick video on it

Already said that you're all FAST AS HELL? Wow guys, I really admire everyone here.
The Mazda TT is funny, it could seem easy but is not, I managed a 00:56:639, need to work on the last turn...ya, I know, it's easy but I lost a ton there.
You can always post your lap on here and ask for feedback. There are many knowledgeable drivers in here that can give some coaching (like the poster above you 😉 or literally below you too hahaha) or any of the Fins that are on here lol

I completely agree with you. This TT on High Speed Ring is really without any interest. It's more interesting and more motivating, fun (but sometimes annoying 🤣🤣) to put a TT on a more technical circuit.
I have more fun on a technical circuit where I will spend three quarters of the time getting angry on the wheel 🤣🤣 and after the car than on a circuit that is too easy
And to manage to have a great and more rewarding time after so much excitement 🤣🤣

I totaly second this smart message!! Cheating is not interesting at all and should be banned.

My biggest satisfaction so far is my gold medal on Lake Maggiore with my GT-R because I had to "fight" - with the help of this lovely community - again and again to gain the latest hundreds. It was difficult, annoying but I'm very proud of this acheivement. And this makes me happy.

For HSR, I've learned the circuit the day before and I've followed Tidgney's ghost, so it was much more easier than expected to get an easy gold. Don't need at all to gain another second by cheating but gaining some tenths by improving my skills is possible :dopey:
