I'm just glad it's not another one at Red Bull Ring again again 🙃It was 5 months ago tbf, but I see what you mean with so many other tracks not being used

It is a road car...don't expect it to brake like a GT car with racing brakes and race tires 🤣Got 250k for Suzaka, bronze again but happy. This new one - does the Corvette have any brakes!!???
maybe I should push a little more...Smooth lap... surprised it was only a high 31s...🤔
That turn for some reason isn't as difficult in this car compare to the others. Once you get used to it, you can be pretty brave with the throttle. The problem I'm having right now is turn 3. I can seem to get the car to the left hand side in a stable manner, so I always ended up upsetting the balance and fling myself out of the track. The exit of the crock screw is my other week point... can't seem to get the exiting speed :/First meters on Laguna felt a bit weird with the vette, engine braking does feel a bit weird indeed, but I sort of refuse to do the gearbox saus making action from 5th to 1th 🤣
So gently went from 5th to 2nd on T1 and in 3th out 😁🤣.
1:31.802 for the first few laps, it actually drives a lot better than I was expecting, this will be a grind, and a lot of T6 frustration car throwing 🤣
I know exactly what you mean, I have the same issue and I'm figuring out if I go in 3th or 4th, it kind of depends how good or bad my slide entry is 🤣. 4th is more stable but a lack in power in the lower rev range.... 3th a lot more u UNstable but if it goes right........ 🤣That turn for some reason isn't as difficult in this car compare to the others. As of right now I'm going through Crockscrew in 3 rd gear at about 60% throttle. Then increase to 100% once the car bottom out...it usually ended up in a bit of neutral slide for a show period of time then stable out then upshift to 4th.I know exactly what you mean, I have the same issue and I'm figuring out if I go in 3th or 4th, it kind of depends how good or bad my slide entry is 🤣. 4th is more stable but a lack in power in the lower rev range.... 3th a lot more u UNstable but if it goes right........ 🤣
The corckscrew is hard but the fact that the penalty registration is 6 miles further is even worse 🤣🤣 , do you exit in 3th or shortshift to 4th?, still a lot to figure out 🤣

The stupid penalty is back. Whatever happened to invalidate the lap instead? The did it in MonzaDear God, the penalty zone! It ruins not 1, not 2, but 3 laps if you pick up a penalty in the corkscrew. It doesn't penalize you on the lap you receive the penalty. Nooo...instead you get a nice red time on that lap and have the pleasure of being forced to slow down on the FOLLOWING lap. And of course that penalty zone is placed at the exit of the final corner. So unless you are like me and turn around in annoyance after slowing down, you will get a nice, turtle-like start to lap 3. What I don't understand is that there are THREE turns after the corkscrew. Why not force you to slow down on the lap you actually pick up the penalty?? Aggravating.
Are you sure about that?Did almost 200 miles. Sub 1:30 is in there somewhere but happy so far.
Had a quick first session at Laguna Seca. The Corvette is actually pretty fun to drive once you get your braking points right. Feels predictable and easy to correct oversteer.
Still almost a second off the top but here's my fastest lap so far:
